"I doubt that there's a genie waiting for you there…"
Cyril couldn't help but comment after hearing Britta explanation.
"Not a genie?" Britta repeated as she took out the golden lamp from her shelf.
If Cyril would make a guess, the one inside this lamp is probably a trapped demon or something similar!
There was no way that a powerful being would just grant wishes without equivalent exchange!
Since it was also mentioned that it was a cursed Artifact, it just added more to his claim.
"Yeah… How much would you like to sell this? Well, I think I'm that fated one you're looking for."
Cyril asked and showed his interest instead... If the price wasn't too much, he'd rather purchase this item. After all, with Xagan's help, he could easily activate this with his help.
However, if he left it here and was activated by someone else, there might be another demon worshipper appearing. Though the possibility is low, it's not impossible.
Britta noticed something was off as Cyril appears to be very confident. It feels as if he already knows what's inside the lamp and how to activate it.
"Are you sure that you can use it?" Britta asked as she looked at Cyril intently.
"Why? Are you planning to increase the price?"
"What? Of course, not… I won't sell it for a higher price just because someone wants it… However, I'm very curious about this. I've seen several Awakened who can't even tell that this item is an Artifact. I even asked the Old Crafter to appraise this but he's also helpless about this since he said that he doesn't have the key to open it."
"Oh? You already consulted the others?"
"Yes! That's why I'm curious about your reason…" Britta answered.
Cyril noticed her sincerity so he decided to give her a satisfactory answer.
"If it could truly grant wishes as rumored, I can tell you that this item is dangerous since it might be related to a powerful being inside the Arcane World where it came from. I do have a method to activate it but I can't tell you how to do it."
Well, Cyril already asked Xagan in his mind and confirmed that unsealing the lamp would cost him 50 days of his life since they are in the Arcane World. He would have to go outside for it to be cheaper.
Britta seems to be satisfied with this answer as she knows that each of her customers would have their own secrets.
It was enough for her to know that Cyril is truly capable of activating the Artifacts and it wouldn't just gather dust after taking it from her.
"How about this… I bought this item for 550,000 Ains, I can give this to you for free and I can even give you more money… The only thing I want is your healing potion recipe." Britta answered with a smile.
She previously received 15 Lesser Healing Potion from Cyril and it was sold for an average price of 380,000 Ains.
She already did a good job of selling it for such a huge amount considering that it would only be worth about 15,000 to 20,000 Ains in the next few years.
Aside from that, this healing potion is literally unapproved by the Awakened Association and Britta would not be able to prove that it wouldn't have hidden side effects at all. In short, the origin of the potion was too suspicious and only desperate people would think of purchasing them.
Nevertheless, after her successful transactions, she managed to create a deep impression on many powerful guilds as they started getting interested in her potions.
As a matter of fact, she was already secretly contacted by the Awakened Association about this. Anyway, since the effectiveness of her potion was undeniable, the Association didn't make it too hard for her and was just asking for more details about the potion.
This is most likely because of the Association's agreement about the Underworld Organization's Ascension City where she built her shop.
"I don't think I can do that… However, I will have someone to coordinate with you about these potions… She will be able to create these healing potions and you will be supplied by her. Anyway, don't rely too much on my healing potion. Once I managed to get a license to sell this, we will be making our Apothecary or something."
"Ooohh! I agree with that, I'm sure that getting a license will still take six months or more anyway."
"That's true… Anyway, you can have these 10 potions for now and I'll also give you this Potion Recipe Book."
Cyril then took the lamp with him and placed it in his bag.
"Right, can you check these two stones for me?" Cyril then showed the mysterious stones that look like a gold nugget and rough diamond.
These two were found when the Red Goblins are mining for Star Garnet Ores and Redprite Ores.
Britta inspected it for a while but no matter how she looks at it, they are just normal gold and diamond!
"I don't think they're valuable…"
Perhaps, the only thing different about it is that they're too influenced by the power of the Redprite Ores and were starting to mutate.
In the end, Britta purchased both of them for 50,000 Ains so she can further investigate them. Anyway, Cyril didn't expect too much out of it. At most, he's thinking that there might be another type of stone that can be taken out from that mysterious dungeon.
From his four Arcane Worlds, he only has one that could provide him resources after all.
The Undead Cemetery was full of zombies and even if there's something he could get there, it might even be cursed or something.
The Black Goblins, on the other hand, are known for their aggressive behavior and they aren't goblins who resort to collecting resources. They just eat and sleep and there's no benefit for subduing them.
As for the Spriggan Lair, the most that Cyril could collect were their valuable hearts and nothing more.
"Very well… I'll be contacting you again in a week or so to introduce to you our future potion expert."
Cyril then returned home to further investigate the mysterious genie lamp.
