It has been half a day after the two have arrived in front of the boss room. They did not get too close to the door since it is releasing an uncomfortable aura so they moved to a different place.

'Ugh… I think I'm getting hungry. Did I forget to take my breakfast?' Cyril thought. Of course, he has some rations inside his Storage Space so he has nothing to worry about if he really wanted to fill his stomach.

Anyway, bringing food inside the Arcane World is normally difficult since they are always being lost in the void… Cyril is just very lucky with his Dimensional Storage Space.

Inside an Undead World, there's pretty much no possible way to find edible food so it's really not a good idea to live here for a few days.

"Are you hungry?" Cyril asked seeing Melody while she's meditating on top of a rock.

The open room they are currently at was previously infested by Skeleton Warriors. It is just about 20 meters away from the boss room.

This room is connected to five tunnels.

They have come from the leftmost tunnel and perhaps, the others would start coming out from the four others if they managed to survive.

They decided to wait here just in case they felt their presence and needed some help.

"Uhmm… A little bit. But it shouldn't hinder me."

"I have brought some snacks here. Take it. I need you to be in your full strength in case we're in trouble. If no one comes here for another 12 hours. We would have to start going back and find a safe zone so we can return."

Cyril said as he gave a bag of jerky to Melody. He also gave her a canteen filled with cold water.

"You managed to bring some food? That's incredible. I guess that this bag and canteen are Artifacts…"

"Well, you can say so. As for payment, you can consider teaching me your Spear Arts." Cyril offered again but this time, Melody didn't answer immediately.

"I'll think about it."

Cyril smiled contented with her answer.

In truth, even if he paid her a Rank-A Artifact, she may not even sell the Spear Arts that she's practicing.

If he's not mistaken, the Spear Arts she has includes an incredible method of how to control Aura to another level.

A while ago, he was actually impressed by the vortex created by her Aura whenever she puts a hole in the Zombies' bodies.

Apparently, there is a limit to how Cyril could control his Aura since he had never properly learned a technique. At most, he could master the basics of its control but doing complicated stuff like that vortex is still quite difficult.

'I really want that technique… If it's used with my S-Rank Aura, it'll definitely be a destructive technique.' Cyril mused as he imagined the time when he will finally learn the technique.

At this moment, he could control his Aura like it's an extension of his hands which is already incredible if the others learned of it. However, making a bullet out of his aura or creating this vortex is too much for him unless he learned the trick or technique to do it.

He doesn't have any teachers that could instruct him after all. Right now, Mad Terrence of the Awakened Association is still conducting his research on how to use Aura in various ways.

'Well, let's do it slowly… I don't have to rush her.' Cyril smiled as he decided to eat some of his rations as well.

In the human world, Bonnie is currently busy inside her laboratory located on the second floor of her shop.

There weren't many customers so she decided to just busy herself with making Grade 1 Potions.

Right now, her succession rate reaches as high as 75% as long as it's a Grade 1 potion so she's quite confident that she'll make ten or so potions today.

However, she suddenly heard someone knocking on the door of her laboratory.

"Hmm? Is there some problem?" Bonnie muttered as she approached the door.

She told them not to disturb her for two hours unless it was an emergency. Only about an hour had passed so she could only guess.

"Manager… There's a group of people from Navi Corporation. They said they wanted to talk to you."

Myrtle, the new employee of the shop, reported to Bonnie. She's Cyril's acquaintance within the Awakened Association.

During the past few weeks, she's having a hard time participating in the Arcane Explorations due to her low rank. Though she has a talent in close combat, it's only effective against small goblins, forest wolves, and lesser bears at most.

However, if she fought against tricky monsters like Spriggan or Banshee, she would have a hard time fighting them. Though they are ranked in the same class as Goblins and Forest Wolves, they have unusual properties that make it difficult to kill them.

In the end, Myrtle had no choice but to limit her participation as an E-Rank Awakened. It was this time that Cyril made an offer to Myrtle to work part-time at the shop.

"Did they mention what they wanted to discuss with me?"

"Alright, bring them to my office. I'll meet them there. Right, call Miss Amaris for me."

"Understood."

Myrtle said but she seemed to be hesitating a bit. Apparently, she had a bad feeling whenever she meets this beautiful woman who was acting as the guard of this shop.

It feels like if she gets too close with her, she would lose her mind and become her puppet. It is probably an absurd way of saying things so she didn't dare to share it with the other employees and to her manager. They might think of her as a weird person or overreacting to such little things.

'Ugh… Whatever… Perhaps I could ask Cyril about it later.' Myrtle said before going down to inform the said people.

After a couple of minutes, the three representatives of Navi Corporation entered Bonnie's office.

Just like what Myrtle said, it seems that the blond guy is the leader of this group and the two huge men beside him are his bodyguards.

"Thank you Miss Manager for trusting us. You didn't even confiscate our weapons or Artifacts before letting us in. This is quite unusual for people meeting us for the first time…"

The man appears to be young. He seems to be 23 to 25 years old. He seemed to be quite plump but just like Myrtle's evaluation, this person is indeed handsome with his squinting black eyes and enchanting smile.

Anyway, Bonnie didn't reply to his words and remained silent.

"Oh! Where are my manners?! I'm Brodie Rosemond. Today, I represent the Navi Corporation to give your small shop and a tremendous blessing." Brodie immediately said after noticing that Bonnie was only smiling.

He then introduced the people behind him as his subordinates learning from him.

"I see… I'm surprised that the mighty Navi Corporation decided to contact our small shop here in this rundown district. Anyway, I'm indeed the manager of this store, you can just call me Bonnie."

"Well, we've heard a lot about this recently built shop Manager Bonnie." Brodie said as he looked at the silent woman beside Bonnie. This woman seems like a secretary. She doesn't seem to possess a strong Aura as he couldn't find any of its traces at all.

But what truly made him glance at her was because of her matchless beauty… No, perhaps he had seen a person prettier and sexier than this woman. However, her calm and graceful figure was so enchanting that he couldn't help but glance at her a few times.

'I want this woman! I can't believe that such a beauty is just within my grasp!' Brodie felt heated after seeing Amaris.

He had never felt something like this before. He glanced at the two bodyguards who followed him and thought that they are also enchanted by her. However, the two seemed to be very calm and unaffected by Amaris' attraction.

'I guess I'm the only one with a good taste here, huh…'

His thoughts were then interrupted by Bonnie as she asked for the details of the deal he was talking about.

At this time, Brodie smiled widely as he explained their Corporation's offer.

"Well, it's actually quite simple. You just need to hand over the store's ownership to us and we will pay you handsomely. Of course, it will include the store's alchemists who are making these potions.. You just need to name the price and we will negotiate from there."
