That's right! It was the Abyssal Ice that Chen Xiaobei found earlier on!

This ice was already in his palm when he launched his first strike.

Because the Shatter all Eight Directions skill impaired Ximen Hanfeng's Dantian, and the Abyssal Ice's extreme Yin cold was injected into his Dantian which prevented him from using his Ethereal Force!

If it had not been for this secret tactic, Chen Xiaobei's second strike would not have killed Ximen Hanfeng.

It would seem that Chen Xiaobei really did have the natural gift of an assassin.

"Where? I don't see it!" There was an intense voraciousness in Wugui Kojiro's eyes as he focused them at the cleft in the rock where Chen Xiaobei was pointing at.

Suddenly, purple-gold light exploded. At the trigger of Chen Xiaobei's right hand, the ability, Shatter all Eight Directions was launched directly at Wugui Kochiro's Dantian.

Taking advantage of timing, place and opportunity, Chen Xiaobei landed his first strike!

The hidden force penetrated Wugui Kojiro's body and rocked his Dantian. At the same time, the Abyssal Ice's freezing Yin Qi permeated the injured meridian and muscles, freezing Wugui Kojiro's Dantian so that he could not use his Ethereal Force.
