1004 Settle the Bill

"Bro Bei! We've been tricked by that idiot Umekawa Shichijiro!" Tanaka Tsuyoshi's voice came over the phone. He sounded agitated.

"What happened?" Chen Xiaoebei asked.

"I followed Umekawa Shichijiro to his house to retrieve the Spiritual Stones from his vault." Tanaka Tsuyoshi said, "It took us ages to locate their mansion. And when we got to the door of the vault, the idiot told me that he didn't have the keys! Tell me he's not messing with us?!"

Chen Xiaobei said, "Send his address to me and I'm coming over now!"

"Alright! I'll send it to you now!" Tanaka Tsuyoshi thought for a while before asking, "Wouldn't that affect your operation over there?"

"No, I have the Somersault Cloud. I'll be back before the sun is up!" Chen Xiaobei replied as-a-matter-of-factly.

When he got the address, Chen Xiaobei summoned the Somersault Cloud and disappeared into the darkness.

The mansion was located on the hill in the outskirts of Tokyo.

In the dark, Chen Xiaobei followed Tanaka Tsuyoshi's instructions and snuck into the mansion's basement.

"Tanaka," Chen Xiaobei called out. "Give him the phone so he can call his uncle."

"Bro Bei! Are you kidding me? Surely with your wisdom, you could see that this is just a ruse?!" Tanaka Tsuyoshi was very distressed. "Once he makes the call, we will be surrounded by the Umekawaan famiy's elites. Their guards are loaded with firearms! Umekawa Shichijiro turned white as paper.

He knew that the feud between Chen Xiaobei and his family had reached a point of no return.

"Shut your trap! Believe it or not, I will kill you!" Tanaka Tsuyoshi barked.

"No, I don't!" Umekawa Shichijiro gloated, "You didn't kill me just now, you won't kill me now! You still need a hostage to negotiate with my uncle! Killing me means that you're throwing away your bargaining chip!"

Tanaka Tsuyoshi's face turned steely, exasperated.

Suddenly, Chen Xiaobei did something completely unexpected!

He drew his hand backward and hurled a golden beetle onto the door of the vault. It then started to chew, at lightning speed, on the ten centimeters thick metal.

Swoosh! 

Out of nowhere, an invisible True Kang shot out of Chen Xiaobei's fingertips and pierced right into Umekawa Shichijiro's heart.

"You… How dare you kill me…"

Umekawa Shichijiro's pupils contracted and his lips parted, a look of disbelief affixed on his face.
