"Whatever you do Morpheus, don't end up involving my Kingdom in this. I am the type who avoids fighting but if your shenanigans end up even as much as scratching my Kingdom, I'll kill you in the most brutal way possible," Allen speaks as he looks at me with the same smile as before. In the whole narration, he kept the same monologue way of speaking. Not only that but also his smile was plastered like that.
Smiling back at him I look back to what he narrated once again. The whole story about Gizems interested me, who they were and were they really extinct. Not only that but also the rules, the Apostle Hunters, the reincarnators, system users, transmigrators, etc. But the thing that intrigued me the most was the 'Gods'. It is more or less clear that I had been brought into this world by one of them as their champion and was left here on my own to die.
But the question of 'Why me?' still remains there. If they did their research on me, they should have known that they can't control me. I mean I would rather die than submit to someone else.
Is it that they didn't know they were reincarnating me or something or was it totally random? Or maybe they knew and they think they could control me somehow. Well, whatever it is I hope I don't end up destroying a race or something and it will be better for me to not get involved with them. From the story itself, it is quite clear that I should not get acquainted with them. Let's just go according to plan for now. What will happen in the future will be dealt with in the future.
Thinking all that I once again look back at King Allen and then the 2 Royal Mages around him. I then turn to the Elf King,
"Do you have anything to say?"
The Elf King smiles before he starts to speak,
"Nothing different really, pretty much the same as Allen. Especially the brutally killing part. Also, from the story I heard from you, it is the Heaven's Library you are looking for right?" Geralt asks me as he massages his forehead. They, both the Kings, are pretty relaxed considering the seriousness of the situation. Not only them but also the Queens, all 3 of them. Leilena, Aria and Elf Queen.
"Yes. I need as much information as possible before I decide what move to make in this world and the correct path to achieve what I want to. It will be pretty idiotic to walk in danger without having any idea how to tackle it," I shrug as I answer Geralt. It should have been quite obvious about my immediate goal here.
"The figurines, are they your family or something? Did they come with you too in this world?" Lia asks as she looks at me, she looks like she has accepted the truth about me being a reincarnator, at which I nod with a yes,
"I honestly don't know if they came here or not but it is just for precaution's sake. I can't be really naive and think that I was the only one who bought into this world. This reminds me…Zwain…or Alex…do you wanna know what happened after you were gone?" I ask Zwain a question at which he seems stunned a bit before nodding as he steels himself for the truth. He must have had the same reactions which I had when I entered this world. His story also gave me an idea of what must have happened to my family,
"You were forgotten. Along with your sister. You aren't the only one who might have been teleported or reincarnated from the 'old world'. I don't know why I remembered you and your sister but everyone else seems to have forgotten about you both. It was as if you had never existed there. Was it the time I took care of your sister's stalker, was the time you reincarnated?"
At my question, he sighs in relief, looks like he had a general idea of what could have transpired. But then his eyes drop slightly as he speaks,
"I didn't know about my sister being bought too. I always thought that the one who should have been reincarnated must be my sister, not me. After all, I was pretty useless back then. There were always bizarre reasons I thought for my reincarnation, who knew it would be something like that," his thoughts start overtaking him again as speaks without thinking. Though I got my answer from his looks.
Well, it does remind me of the first time I met him. He was confused back then too. Looking at him now, he has grown quite a lot.
It was one of the conclusions I came on too when I got into this world, the fact that I would be forgotten in my previous world, that is.
King Geralt then stands up as he looks at me,
"I'll be waiting for you and your brothers in Alfheim then. I guess it would be pointless to stay here anymore. Since you are the one who will probably become the 'Saviour of the Devils'. It would be better for you to talk to the Devil King too. He is a pretty good fella, if not for environmental corrosion by the Devil energy we would have worked quite better. Also, I won't leave the Devils alone next time."
He then signals the Queen and Lia to leave with him as they vanish from there. King Allen stands up too as he moves to depart along with the Royal Mages.
Before he leaves he speaks to me once again,
"There are many questions and answers still unanswered which we can cover later. If you ever come to the Royal Castle, I'll welcome you gladly Morpheus, you are strong and wise. It's not every day you get to meet someone like that and even more odd to live the next moment after meeting them. I wonder what you will do next, cause not only me but also Geralt will be watching your move from now on and who knows which other superpower you will attract."
The Human King seems pretty cool to me. He lives a passive defensive life with saving and supporting humans. Well, you can't run a country in this world with a hot-headed personality, I guess. After King Allen left, I turned to Queen Aria and Leilena who were silent in the whole conversation, looking at me.
A smile forms on my face as I speak,
"Leilena, send the gold coins to me. As for Aria, our deal was pretty much over I guess so that's it. If you ever need help again from my party then you can put a message in the guild."
A relaxing smile forms on their faces as they smile back at me before nodding and leaving from the place.
I look at Zwain then as I think before I speak,
"We will be staying here for 2 more weeks before leaving for Alfheim. Since you will be leaving at the same time, will you be our guide?"
A blossoming smile forms on his face as he answers in a nod before vanishing from the area.
"Adolphus, you should leave too and act as if nothing happened. I don't want Ladros to know about anything, okay? I'll visit you in the guild later," I turn to Adolphus this time. He nods and waits for a few moments before leaving.
"Lucifer, they caught you didn't they?" I turn to Lucifer this time. He smiles at me without saying anything. It would be impossible to hide it from the Kings, the true identity of Lucifer, huh? Well, it doesn't look like they mind it that much. Lucifer then waves his hand as he walks outside playing with his Scythe.
"Unia, go to Aria and tell her to take everyone back to Demon Continent, Laplace. Also…" I explain to Unia what to do next and also the plans that I am going to implement for the next few months. Guess, this would be our farewell before I meet again, huh? After I finish explaining everything to Unia she nods and leaves immediately.
At last, I stand up and start walking towards the front door as I look back and think about whatever happened since I came to Eslaine,
"Surely this has been one hell of a start."
