PHANTASOS' POV:-
"Show me what you can do, Corey Eros," Ladros says as he flies above me in the air, orange flame balls hovering all around him. Then he throws the orange balls at me, at a ridiculously fast speed.

Barely dodging each of those balls, I tried to hold my ground, but because of the amount and intensity of the balls, the number of chances I got to attack him or at least throw an attack at him was still zero.
"It will not be enough to kill me, Corey Eros. Is that all you can do?" He shakes his head with disappointment in his eyes as he looks at me. Then…
He dashes towards me and punches me, pushing me far away from him. I fall away from him and look at him with determination in my eyes as I stand back up.
"Cough...cough…not yet," I speak as I run towards him with my sword pointed at him. I see him expressionlessly looking at me as he once again throws another barrage of fireballs at me. Dodging half of them, and taking the attack of half of them, I reach closer to him and slash him as fast as I can. He looks at me and sighs before swiftly dodging and once again kicking me in the gut, resulting in me being pushed away once again.
This time, however, he didn't give me a chance to relax and kicked me before I could fall to the ground.
-Boom

Getting hit all over the place, the pain is increasing with every hit. I don't think I can stand against this for long.
'I am still too weak,' I think, as I see no simple solution out of this repeated combo that Ladros is doing on me.
'Sigh...First Circle unlock,' I think, and increase my power over my limit. Then I use the mana to connect with Brother's circle present all around me.
This resulted in the lowering of magicules and Demon energy present around us. Since I am using mana from the first circle, my power does not reduce at all, but Ladros seems comparatively much weaker now. Looking at me with curiosity, a smile forms on his face as he speaks.
"Interesting. I don't know how you did it, but maybe you do have a chance to kill me. Come, Corey Eros, I want to see if you have what it takes to kill me."
I subconsciously nod at him and dash at him once again. Once again, he uses the same fire sphere and throws them at me, however this time, I slash all the balls into two as they dissipate. After running, dashing and jumping around, I reach closer to him as I go for a slash.
"You have the power to kill me, Corey Eros…" Ladros speaks with a weak smile as he looks at me. It's as if he is once again disappointed in me...he continues his sentence," but you are too inexperienced when it comes to tackling a stronger enemy."
And then he raises his hand and chants,
"[Soul Spell: Bind]"
And I stop at my place frozen, not being able to do anything at all. My body started suffocating due to lack of air and my nerves are ringing like an alarm has been left turned on.
He then raises his hand as he reaches my head and speaks," well, looks like this is all that we could have done. It was a nice fight Corey Eros and I am sorry to take the life of someone like you, it was nice-
And then his hands get thrown away as someone else interfaces the battle.
"Cough...cough..haah..haah..haah…" I catch my breath as I look at Icelos standing in front me. His look was as angry as it was possible. He looked really, really pissed at Ladros.
I slowly catch my breath and look at him before speaking," he is...different brother."
Icelos looks at me before looking at Ladros, who is observing Icelos with a curious smile. Icelos glares at Ladros before speaking to me," explain." His eyes are fixed on Ladros, though.
I look at Icelos before briefing him about everything that happened here. Icelos had a really confused look on his face before he shook his head and said, "our work is to kill him, that is all we need to worry about. If it's something complicated, brother is there to solve it."
I nod at him and then stand back up. Ladros, who was observing us with a slightly relaxed expression, said," come."
Both I and Icelos dash towards Ladros in synchronisation and attack him from opposite sides. He flies up, but before he could reach considerable height, we also jump and reach above him and kick him down. His smile gets wide as he chants something and my movements get sluggish. Icelos seems to be fine, though. Ladros' smile gets even more wide as he sees Icelos not getting affected from his attack. After fighting for another set of moves, I finally saw a scratch on Ladros' face.
'Sigh...the higher hierarchy is totally on another level. I wonder how long it will take to reach that point."
Then we change our outlook on this battle as we nod at each other and change our element to that of each other, and finally using dual elements at once.
This time, our slashes started getting through much more than before. Ladros seems to be losing right now. After another set of moves, we finally reach the point where we slash Ladros' neck and win the fight. Ladros had a refreshing smile on his face as his body relaxed and fell on the ground. We relax our body as exhaustion takes over us. We have used up a lot of mana, but we are still fine. We won...we have finally taken our revenge...but...why...why do I feel so empty after killing him? I should be happy about it, then why do I feel so sad? Why do-

-Clap
I see someone clapping a few metres away from us, only to find Ladros standing there with a bright smile as he speaks.
"Excellent!!! Now you just have to kill me for another 1045 times!!" He spoke with apparent enthusiasm as he looked at us.

MORPHEUS' POV:-
'This is getting irritating in a way,' I hear the voice of Light whining at another nonsense.
To see things with caution and carefulness, I have bid my presence from the battlefield. Observing everyone a smile forms on my face as I look at their improvement, I then reach to the point where Corey and Chase are fighting with Ladros.
I observe Ladros with a slight glare in my eyes before sighing as I think,'to change someone like him to this extent. The Gods must have really done a number on him. He honestly feels like a sage right now, but what he did can't be forgiven. He has to die. That's one thing that is set in stone for him.
My eyes then look at Corey and Chase as they make a complicated face at the revival of Ladros after his death.
'What kind of magic is that? It looks like soul magic, or more appropriately, soul reversal magic of sorts, but wasn't it a taboo?' Light thinks with a curious expression on his face.
'Though taboo doesn't really mean anything for those who usually cross the lines for their own benefit.' I answer his question and he nods at it.
Well, it does look like soul magic, and Ladros being proficient in soul magic adds more to it.
But that's not what I should be worried about, here….what I am worried about right now is...them..I wonder why they haven't shown their faces yet.
'Did I miss something? Is it totally something else?' I think as I once again scan the whole battlefield but couldn't find anything at all. This really irks me. Just what is going on in their brains?
'It makes me really worried, though. Their absence is way more scary than their presence, eh?' Light mumbles slowly in my brain and I totally agree with him.
Firstly, everything about the Gods is just a theory and I know nothing about them. Secondly, their silence is totally outside of my thinking limit. If they had some brains or knowledge in war applications, they should have done things better, but looking at the battlefield, it's as if…
'As if a child has put all the pieces randomly and is watching the show.' Light completes my sentence with slight anger in his voice. Nodding at his statement, I agree with him totally.
It really feels as if a child is playing a simulation game with the races in front of me.
'This will make things much more...much much more… simple I guess.' A smile forms on my face as I really hope that what I am thinking is the exact correct thing.
But then…
A voice surrounds the area as I hear it too,
[All Elves: I order you to die]
