Chapter 160 - The Uninvited Ones

She walks slowly in the snow-laden forest as the falling snow gradually touches her blue hair and reaches down the waist before falling to the ground. Her blue eyes looked around the white forest, and then a sweet smile blossomed on her face as she found her target.

Slowly walking with a blissful smile on her face, her eyes pierce in that direction as she speaks,

"Found my meal!"

A few kilometres ahead, a child was running as fast as he could. His face looked terrified, as his eyes were covered with tears and blood. He had a scar on his back that showed some parts of his inner organs, but it does not seem like he was in any pain.

Soon the reason was also revealed as a monster…a demonic monster comes from behind and keeps running at the same pace as that kid was. Looking at that monster, it seemed as if he was enjoying the chase of his prey. It was a bipedal monster with a Goblin-like face and the body of a giant orc. With two horns on his head, that monster looked quite ugly and scary, to be honest. 

After running towards that kid for a few moments, the monster seemed to be bored with the chase and jumped in that kid's direction. 

The kid looking at that monster glared at him as the monster spoke,"Fun time is over, kid. Now let's take you to your new home."

The kid, glaring at that monster, shouted," you already killed my family and everyone that lived in our village. What more do you want from me?!! Just kill me already!!"

The monster looked at the kid and spoke with a mocking smile,"now now, don't be angry. Don't you know it already? If I kill all of you at once, I will run out of my food stock. I have always left some of you alive before too and it was all going well, but you see, this time I had a beautiful idea in my mind. What if rather than waiting for you humans to increase your number, I would just force you to do so? Wouldn't that be a great idea? You won't need to worry about food and other stuff and only need to raise kids and have fun? That would make things so much easier for both of us. I get my food faster while you get to live an 'easy' life?"

The monster had a bright smile on his face as he looked at that kid. That kid, however, had a pale face as he realised the monster's intention. He looked at that monster for a few moments before processing everything in his brain as he spoke,"You are…going to raise me…as a livestock??"

The monster looked at that kid with a smile before vanishing and appearing right behind the kid. He raised his hand and put it on that kid's head and said,"Smart!" before clicking his fingers, resulting in the kid fainting.

The monster took out some greenish goo like substance from his storage and poured it on the kid. The kid's scar slowly healed, leaving some slight deformation as his breathing finally stabilised. The monster looked around a bit before picking up the kid and vanishing from there as he started to run back to his den.

'There doesn't seem to be enough settlements around here, which can be included in my…farm I guess,' the monster thought as he kept running and jumping at a high speed.

'I guess I need to look a bit ahead from the safety zone. To be honest, I doubt I would find anything there, but let's hope that I do. Damn, I wish I had this genius idea before. Had I known the possibility of such a thing, I would have done it from far back then and I might have had so much food by now,' he sighs as he looks at that unconscious kid in his hand before smiling a bit and then looking in front again.

A few moments later…

The monster stopped in his tracks as he saw something ridiculous in front of him. He looked at that situation only to blink for a while before the kid in his arms fell down in the snow and an angry expression came on his face.

"Who are you?!!" He shouts with a glare as he looks at a girl…a blue-haired, blue-eyed girl in front of him who was eating something in her hands with full satisfaction. The blue-haired girl with traces of red blood on her blue dress and white face smiled as she looked at that monster.

She simply smiled and politely answered," I am having a meal right now. Please do not disturb me," before getting back to chomping on whatever she was eating. Looking at that mess, fury entered the monster's eyes as he shouted,

"Those were MY livestocks. How dare you eat them!!!" 

The lady looked at that monster again, only this time, a bit of irritation was visible in her eyes. She glared at that monster slightly for a few moments before looking at her food and starting to eat it faster than before. Looking at her actions, that monster furiously attacked that lady but…

His limbs reduced to nothingness even before he could actually move. Dumbfounded, he looked at that girl again, only this time with fear in his eyes. His eyes seemed truly terrified yet confused as various questions flowed into his mind. 

The girl, for the next few moments, finished the rest of her meal as total silence covered the area. Then after that, she slowly walked towards that monster and picked up his leg. Then she started eating that leg, too. The monster looked at that girl with pure horror in his eyes as he once again asked,"who…are you?"

That girl looked at that monster with a smile on her face as she spoke.." I am Amelia, the 4th Royal Guardian of Visca."
