Chapter 40 - 39 - Step Two

Shallot was heading back to the room when his scroll started buzzing again.

Shallot: "Huh... who could be sending something at this time? I don't think Roman should have anything this soon."

Shallot opened his scroll and looked and seen a message from Roman.

Shallot: "Okay... I stand corrected. I wonder if he got the information that I asked him to get.

[Second Favorite Ginger]: These are the plans that are being made by Cinder. I have already disabled the bombs and they are only for appearance currently. They won't blow up unless someone shots them or something stupid like that.

The information that you wanted I've already sent to your scroll in a file with all the information and the info you wanted on Ironwood's robots.

Shallot looked through the files and started smiling and laughing lightly. He was scrolling through the information on the scroll when he saw the information about the charging capabilities for the dust crystals and how they were used and he knew that he could use this for his blutz capture device.

[Shallot]: Great! Make sure that Neo is getting as much information about Cinder. I have a feeling that she isn't working by herself. Have Neo do some digging and tell her that after this she can ask me to teach her anything she wants.

[Second Favorite Ginger]: ... Alright but this is going to be tricky since the White Fang are going to be in a meeting soon and I need to put on my act.

[Shallot]: Don't mess anything up. I'll probably come by to make sure that everything is going smoothly and we can control everything since she won't tell you what her entire plan is.

[Second Favorite Ginger]: I also think that she is working for someone else so I don't think that she will try to work for you anytime soon. Why not just kidnap her?

[Shallot]: I am a gentleman. I don't do kidnappings. I have class and taste. I would rather take everything she has and then offer a hand when she has nothing left. Only then will she follow without ever having thoughts of betrayal.

If she doesn't wish to follow me when she is still growing then I will break her and put her back together again.

[Second Favorite Ginger]: And they call me the criminal. You are the most diabolical person I know and I'm sure no one is going to surpass you in your scheming methods.

[Shallot]: I'm not scheming, I'm just a realist. I prefer to have everything to either be decided by me or be interesting enough that I can have a challenge.

[Second Favorite Ginger]: Your more talkative than usual. By now you would have started threatening me by now. Did something catch your intention?

[Shallot]: I just realized that something I have been working on is almost complete. Once it is complete then there will be nothing in the world that will be able to challenge me if I were to use it and master it, but it also is a bittersweet feeling.

The information you've given me will help me finish my blutz wave collector.

In a building with a computer sitting on the desk with some files opened on the screen.

Roman: "I think I just doomed the world. He was already too much for anyone to deal with and knowing him he might be the downfall of the world if what he said when he got drunk that one time when he drunk from my bottle and was blabbing about how he wanted to become the strongest in the world and then have some kids so he can teach them to grow stronger then him."

Roman got a chill down his back thinking about 6-year-olds running around wiping out blocks of Grimm because they decided they wanted to go "play".

Roman: "Maybe I can convince Shallot that he doesn't need the "Blutz Wave Collector" whatever this device is supposed to be."

Roman started to text back again thinking that he could convince Shallot that maybe he was strong enough already.

Inside Beacon Academy's Library

Shallot was typing and constantly messaging information and coming up with plans on how to deal with getting information on who is behind Cinder if there is someone behind her or if she is just really confident.

[Mittens]: Are you heading back here yet? You have been gone longer than you usually take.

[Shallot]: I'm on my way back there now. The pieces were up underneath the table and had to grab a couple that was separated and was just enjoying the stroll.

[Mittens]: When you get back we should talk about what to do about the White Fang since they usually wouldn't work with someone like Roman which means that Adam is most likely up to something.

[Shallot]: Don't worry about Adam. He wasn't able to even challenge you let alone me. If you would have left earlier when I told you about how the White Fang couldn't be changed by words anymore you probably wouldn't have had to watch everything that they were doing.

We also need to get back to training everyone for the festival after all.

[Mittens]: Do we really need to keep training for the festival? We are already one of the best teams since you are on the team and no one can really beat us.

[Shallot]: That's the reason why you all need to keep training. I can't have my future wives and teammate being weaker than me by that much. You need a strong body to give birth after all if you don't want to have issues later.

Blake was reading the messages and blushed slightly thinking about having kids.

While Blake was blushing Ruby had jumped over and had looked at the messages wondering about what was making Blake blush so much. After reading the messages she started thinking back to Shallot wrapping his arms around her and also started blushing.

[Shallot]: Well... Weiss is difficult.

[Mittens]: Is it because she's a Schnee?

[Shallot]: No that's not the reason why.

[Mittens]: Then why?

[Shallot]: She too stiff of a person. You should know that I have a certain type of person that I find hard to get along with. Stiff people are not really any fun to be around with and it's also the reason why I don't like spending time with your father because he's a hardass.

[Mittens]: Is that the only reason why? Is it because she is an S?

[Shallot]: Nope. I quite enjoy making someone who is an S humble in front of me. The reason is I don't think that I would last in a relationship with her based on her views of relationships and they are built.

You are fine with me because you know that is how my people are. Yang has more than 1 mother so having others who are attracted to the same male will give her a familiar feeling. Ruby is an innocent doughball that I want to shape and play with while Weiss is the Ice Princess.

[Mittens]: You don't want a challenge casanova?

[Shallot]: You're not going to let me live that down are you?

[Mittens]: Maybe, maybe not, I'm not sure yet, but you should hurry up and get back here now

Shallot opened the door to the room with Blake sitting in the bed with her nightgown and some stockings on with her legs arched but still not able to see underneath.

Shallot: "I'm already back."

Shallot walked in sitting in the bed next to her while rubbing his hand on her legs.

Shallot: "Do you want to take a bath before we lay down."

Weiss: "Hey!!! There are others in the room you know."

Shallot: "You can take a bath first my dear Ice Princess."

Shallot put his hand over his ċhėst and bowed slightly with a smile on his face.

Yang: "You seem to be in a good mood. You must have heard Shallot of good news."

Shallot: "Just Shalittle."

Ruby: "Can you both stop making bad puns it's too late for that."

Shallot/Yang: "It's never too late corny jokes."

Shallot looked at Yang and Yang looked towards Shallot and they both gave each other a thumbs up.

Ruby: "Can we just go to sleep."
