Chapter 82 - 78 - Breach (2)

There was only around 40 Grimm left of the massive horde that was originally there along with a couple of large Grimm. A Nevermore that flew away when the larger Grimm was falling towards the ground and was circling the group seeing that the one that did most of the damage was sitting down now.

A large Beowolf Grimm was running in the direction of Coco and her team and wanted to plow through Coco to try to get away seeing that almost all of them were wiped out lunging at her swinging its right hand.

Coco swatted away its right hand and kicks the Beowolf in the crotch. The Grimm grabs between its legs holding nothing in particular.

Shallot was looking at this thinking did Grimm have private parts since he didn't know if they were capable of reproducing amongst each other like other animals. He was completely sure how they functioned either and wasn't an expert on them.

Shallot: 'Dr. Merlot's research will hopefully give me a good understanding of Grimm if I can track him down and kill him. I rather deal with flies before they hatch anymore eggs.'

As the Grimm falls to the ground and looks at her, she leans down and slams her bag onto its head. She effortlessly swats away three more Beowolves that tried attacking from the other side trying to corner her, then leaps back to avoid a Death Stalker's tail. Velvet steps forward and moves a hand toward Anesidora about to open the box.

Coco turns to Velvet.

Coco: "Hey, come on, you just spent all the semester building that up. Don't waste it here. There are only a couple of Grimm left since Shallot dealt with most of them."

Coco then transforms Gianduja into a giant minigun, and starts firing, slaughtering the advancing horde of Grimm, including a Death Stalker and three Nevermore. The ground starts shaking again before a sinkhole appears behind them closer to the city with another wave of Grimm coming from the hole. From the hole was a sandworm Grimm.

Shallot: "Well shit. This seems well coordinated."

Port and Oobleck regroup at the opening, nodding their heads. They fire their weapons at the approaching Grimm, while Glynda Goodwitch mops up the remnants and immediately closes the first opening using her Semblance.

Shallot stands up and could see something towards him with a smile on his face and lands beside him. It was a weapon locker and he inputs his code pulling out what looks look a sniper rifle box with some triggers on the handle. Shallot pulled the trigger making it unfold along with the sound of gears turning. A 7-foot Double-sided Scythe was slung over his shoulder which looked similar to a very deadly pickaxe.

Shallot: "Too bad your coordination means nothing to the strong."

Shallot lifted his "Scythe" above his hand and everyone could feel that they were becoming slightly more tired while the plant life around them was withering. A large amount of energy and life force was gathering on the "Scythe" making an aura surround the top of the blade making it appear larger.

The Grimm could feel immense danger from the energy on his blade and instinctively wanted to flee back into the hole. Before they could Shallot had already made his way. Shallot disappeared from his spot appeared in the location of the new hole in the ground and did a 360 spin and a blade of energy launched from all around him cutting through all the Grimm.

The Grimm bodies all around were split in half and everything in a 10-meter diameter was destroyed. Getting a closer look at the weapon it had a similar appearance as Ruby's Crescent Rose. The difference between the two was that the area where the small hook on the back of Ruby's Crescent Rose was another scythe blade.

Shallot: "I'll call you 'Entity Eclipse'."

Glynda came over while using her semblance once more to close the hole that was in the ground. stopping anymore Grimm that could come through if they weren't strong enough to break through the ground.

???: "The blood that I was able to get from this individual is like nothing I have seen before. I haven't been able to get anymore in recent years since it seems that they never get injured anymore. If I can use them with my research on Grimm I will be able to reach the next stage of evolution."

Sitting in front of some monitors watching the entire fight from the droids that were destroyed but some with the visual capabilities still remained. The person was an elderly man that had one cybernetic eye. He had grey hair almost a white silver type hair and a white doctor's lab coat on.

The elderly man stood up from the ȧssortment of screens while turning and looking at a certain screen that showed Ozpin and then turned a little looking at Shallot.

???: "I will have my revenge Ozpin. You will see that you were wrong about the Grimm being only good for destruction."

The elderly man walks out of the room walking into another room that has a tank filled with liquid with what appears to be a humanoid Grimm inside with white cracks all over its body. There was what appeared to be a Grimm mask embedded into its ċhėst where the white cracks seem to be originating from.

???: "I just need a little more time and I can reach the answer. I will reach the next stage of our evolution no matter what."

[Back with Shallot and everyone else]

Roman seeing that Emerald, Mercury, and even Cinder showed up when the fighting was over. Roman could tell that they think that he had messed up the plans and that they weren't the ones who screwed with the train.

Roman: 'Hopefully Neo has all the information compiled together so he can make more plans. Shallot always wants him to gather information and needs to find out how Dr. Merlot is gathering information on them.'

Later on, everyone meets in the pavilion as Roman Torchwick is escorted by Mercury and Emerald towards an Atlesian airship.

Roman: 'Should take this as far as I can. If I can still get more information out of Cinder then it's better for me in the long run. Time to on a show.'

Roman turned to an Atlesian Knight, who grabs him by the arm.

Roman: "Oh, I can't believe that you caught me, you've really taught me the error of my ways.

Roman almost loses his hat while being pulled.

Roman: "He-hey, watch the hat!"

Emerald and Mercury then approach Ruby and they smile at each other. Team JNPR is seen exchanging smiles, Sun and Neptune bump fists, Team CFVY likewise smile at each other, and Port and Oobleck do the same while Glynda watches from behind.

Shallot: 'So it seems that this wasn't part of Cinders plans and Roman is going to try to continue spying. Since the rest of my time and Professor Oobleck knows he's working with me it should be easy explaining to the rest afterward.'
