At night, one should always be careful...whether you are man or beast.

"Hold up babe! I bet I can make your night." A man exclaimed as he drunkenly stumbled behind the beautiful figure in the alley.

The woman smiled invitingly enough, though if the man hadn't been so drunk, he might have noticed the utter disgust in her violet eyes. No, he didn't notice, not even when his fingers grasped greedily on cold dead skin. All he felt was lust, nothing else...no...he didn't even feel when her cold greedy lips began to suck the man's life force out, like a leech to blood.

No...even at the very end.

Disgusted, the woman pushed the empty shell of a man onto the hard ground like a ragged doll, and instantly wiped at her perfectly clean mouth as though to rid it from the horrible mortal taste. Her black hair moved around her face in waves as she straightened her wardrobe out to perfection. With one final glance at the empty shell on the ground she began to walk away...

"Tyger! Tyger! Burning bright in the forests of the night. What immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry? In what distant deeps or skies burnt the fire of thine eyes?" The woman began to recite in sing song as she continued her walk, "On what wings dare (s)he aspire? What the hand dare sieze the fire? And what shoulder, and what art, could twist the sinews of thy heart? And when thy heart began to beat."

She paused to listen to the night sounds around her before continuing on her way.

"What dread hand? And what dread feet?" She continued her sing song, "What the hammer? What the chain? In what furnace was thy brain? What the anvil? What the dread grasp dare its deadly terrors clasp?"

She sighed a lonely sigh.

"When the stars threw down their spears, and watered heaven with their tears, did he smile his work to see?" A sob escaped her, it was a heart broken sob that was quickly swallowed back, "Did he who made the Lamb make thee?"

Suddenly all her sorrows escaped in tearless sobs.

"Tyger! Tyger! Burning bright in the forest of the night. What immortal hand or eye dare frame thy fearful symmetry?" She finished in a broken voice no higher than a whisper, "Where is thy Tyger with wings to clip, and paws to chain? Where is my Tyger? My beautiful Tyger..."

With that, she hummed a tune as she entered the darkest street...

She stalked through the shadows of night for none to see.

That same night...the moon overhanging in the sky became a darkened red.

The blood moon.

During the night it first appeared, everyone slumbered, and thus the world changed.
