"I finally found you, Yale."
Those words made Yale frown. He couldn't help but pick up his weapon as he noticed there were no bystanders anymore in this area.
"…" Yale realized it was the work of the woman before him, specifically her subordinates. "I should have known that you're the one behind this."
"Gluttony Kingdom's Second Princess, Renee." Yale gritted his teeth, knowing he had fallen into a trap.
"We are childhood friends. Why did you talk politely?" The Vampire Princess, Renee, smirked as she stepped forward.
"Stay there or you will get bonked." Yale raised his hand to stop her while preparing to swing his bat. "Childhood friends? It's for your own convenience."
Renee didn't reply immediately. She closed her eyes for a second and said, "Six years ago… That's the time when we first met. Doesn't this make us childhood friends?"
"Do you think I will fall for that? You're just trying to exploit me by sucking my blood." Renee snorted.
"After tasting your blood, others are like trash to me." Renee smirked. "The blood of someone who has two elements in their body is rich in Magic Power. That's why I have sent you a marriage invitation. To think you wasted it on that piece of trash…"
Yale didn't say anything. In the past, he would have protected his own ex-fiancee with all his might, but he had let her go, so Renee talking trash about her didn't affect him even a bit.
"Did you know how happy I was when that trash broke the engagement? I immediately sent you another marriage engagement. Why didn't you accept it?"
Yale gritted his teeth. He still could remember when the engagement was broken. He wasn't in the mood to do anything, including paying attention to the marriage engagement. So, in the end, it was sent back with disappointment.
"The moment I heard you got a teacher and controlled your power, I rushed to the Pride Kingdom. However, because I got another piece of information about your whereabouts, I thought about coming around here to investigate you. To think you would actually come to me by yourself. This is fate."
"Screw you." Yale turned around and ran away.
"I'm not going to let you escape." Renee immediately chased after him. She cut her own hand and formed two blades.
"Shut up, you're a crazy vampire!" Yale turned around and immediately struck her.
Renee raised both blades and blocked Yale's attack.
However, Yale's progress was far beyond her imagination. His past power couldn't be compared to the one in her mind.
Yale ended up pushing her back.
"I won't be controlled or tied down by anyone. I am not the Sixth Prince or anyone else! I'm Yale, Adventurer Yale!" Yale shouted, declaring his intention. There was so much emotion in those words.
For him to be suppressed for a long ten years and finally gain the freedom he wished and receive the power he deserved, Yale released the restraints in his heart as he, for the first time, declared that he was a freeman.
Renee felt goosebumps as she could feel Yale's feeling.
"Yale, you…" Renee hesitated for a moment and looked at Yale.
"I have enough to deal with all of you. I won't be the 'Yale' in your mind anymore. And if you're thinking about capturing me, I won't hesitate to fight with my life on the line." Yale released all of his emotion and raised his Bonk Bat.
"Wait, wait. Although the blood was the first reason, it didn't mean that I was faking my feelings. Since I need to marry someone, I would rather marry you! I don't mean to force you to marry me. If that's what I truly wanted, I would have sent the engagement letter to the king himself, not you." Renee explained.
"Shut it. I won't get engaged or married anytime soon. So, go back!"
"NO!" Renee shouted back. She gritted her teeth and remembered that Yale was from the Pride Kingdom. "I, Renee Esta Maria, challenge you in a Sacred Duel!"
"Do you think I will acc—!" Words suddenly got stuck in his throat as Yale started coughing. He clutched his heart and dropped to his knees, panting. "Ha… ha…"
"Yale!" Renee panicked and approached him to check his condition, but Yale immediately waved his Bonk Bat and glared at him. "Leave me alone."
Yale took a few deep breaths as he realized something was wrong. 'I couldn't even utter that word? But I should have become a free man…'
He looked at the Bonk Bat and remembered that the bat could only remove the horniness, not one's pride.
Even though he was more mature than anyone else in his generation, he was still the prince of the Pride Kingdom. His pride far surpassed that of a normal citizen in his country.
"Kh…" Yale gritted his teeth, realizing that he would be in a situation where he couldn't decline the fight invitation.
After taking a few deep breaths, he gritted his teeth and said, "Fine. I accept your invitation. If I win, you're going to leave me alone from now on."
Renee somehow regretted asking for this fight after seeing Yale's condition, but this wasn't something that could be stopped anymore. If he lost, she wouldn't have the right to see him anymore.
She clenched her fists and said, "If I win, you…"
She wanted to say "will marry me" but the words didn't come out of her throat. She wasn't someone from the Greed Kingdom that made her want to possess Yale no matter what, so she couldn't utter those three words.
Instead, the words that came out of her mind were, "…will give me a chance."
"!!!" Yale widened his eyes, never expecting that kind of answer. He even wondered whether he had been misjudged this whole time or not.
But the condition was already set. He couldn't stop this fight.
Yale took a deep breath and raised his Bonk Bat.
Renee stopped for a moment and bit her lips. She needed to do this or everything would be over.
She shook her head to brush all the negative thoughts off her mind as she stared at Yale.
Without even the signal to start, both of them charged forward at the same time.
The Bonk Bat and Blood Swords clashed with each other.
Yale tried to revolve his Light and Darkness power but to no avail. The two elements clashed with each other and destroyed themselves.
"Tsk." Yale clicked his tongue while Renee knew that the two elements weren't something that could easily be conquered. Even if the information was true, it might be a fluke.
Even so, she couldn't stop here.
"Blood Bat!" The swords began to transform into bats and flew toward Yale.
Yale frowned and struck the blood bat one by one with a swift and precise swing. He had learned a bit of Bonkmanship from Albert, so he could do this much.
The blood bats exploded in rapid succession, turning back into normal blood.
However, with a single wave of her hand, the blood began to turn into needles.
Yale immediately leaped backward to gain some distance, albeit the needles were already on their way to him.
He used his Bonk Bat to block all of them, but he missed one of them as it pierced his right thigh.
"!!!" Because of the size, there was only a single jolt of pain in his brain, so he recovered in an instant.
But this was enough for Renee to close the distance between them.
She struck Yale's bat with her left sword while trying to stab him with her right sword.
Yale recognized her intention and pushed her back first before the sword reached him. After that, he swung his bat to her face as hard as possible.
Renee raised both swords to protect her, but she ended up taking a leap back to her original position.
'His strength is stronger than mine…' Renee gulped down. 'If this continues, even without him using his two elements, he could defeat me with his strength alone. No, I can't do this. I need to find a gap in his defense.'
Renee placed her hand on the ground and allowed the blood to flow.
Yale realized she was plotting something and hurriedly rushed to her.
Before he arrived, Renee had finished her preparation as she simply raised her right hand.
The blood flowing on the ground suddenly turned into a spike to impale him.
Yale reacted by stopping that pointed tip with his unbreakable bat.
Renee didn't give up as she turned the spike into two swords and jumped forward, striking Yale from above.
Yale held the bat with two hands and stopped her attack, but she managed to pin him down to the ground.
Not wanting to lose, Yale kicked her in the stomach.
"Gah!" She coughed up blood and flew into the air. The swords she used actually remained on Yale's side as she pointed her palm at Yale.
The two swords moved toward Yale's arms.
Yale managed to repel one of them, but the other one ended up piercing his left arm. He immediately pulled the sword out and rushed toward Renee.
She thought about flying and attacking Yale from the air, but that wasn't fair. Hence, she landed on the ground, where Yale greeted her with his bat.
She formed a blood shield on her left hand and blocked it. Even so, the power was enough to blow her away.
Without hesitation, Yale moved with his fastest speed and struck her shield once again.
Suddenly, the shield cracked and ultimately snapped into two. The bat continued moving toward Renee's chest.
She spat a mouthful of blood as she flew into the air for a few seconds before rolling on the ground.
'Kh. I need to stand up. If Yale reaches my position, I won't be able to win.' She gritted her teeth and rose immediately, finding Yale approaching her. After experiencing his power, she couldn't help but wonder, 'Do I really have the power to defeat him?'
"No!" Renee gritted her teeth and cut her hand once again. She smeared the blood flowing outside on her thumb before rubbing it on her lips, turning her cute pink lips into enchanting red lips.
She clapped her hand and released all her Magic Power.
"Blood Sacrifice!"
Suddenly, a red-colored ring appeared behind her back as three sword-like blood appeared out of nowhere, attached to the ring.
'Blood Sacrifice?' Yale came to a halt and opened his eyes wide. 'That's the technique where the vampire burns their own blood or, in other words, their lifespan to increase their power temporarily. She even uses something like this to win against me?'
He took a deep breath, knowing he was in a deep pinch. He couldn't even utilize his light and dark power and was left with a single bat.
'I can only rely on this unbreakable bat. As long as I can buy enough time, I will be able to do something…' Yale started coming up with a plan, trying to find a way to win this match.
However, it was apparent that Yale's determination began to waver.
He remembered that his ex-fiancee never went to this length for him. Yet, the one that he never paid attention to actually sacrificed this much just to win.
Yale clenched his bat and shook his head. He immediately rushed toward her, trying to stop her transformation. 'No, I can't let her win. I'm going to be free.'
Unfortunately for him, the hesitation in his action earlier had allowed her to finish her Blood Sacrifice.
She waved her swords simultaneously, hitting Yale's Bonk Bat. In an instant, Yale was blown away.
"What?" Yale drew a gasp as he realized her strength had far surpassed him. "NO!"
He immediately stomped the ground to stabilize his posture, but Renee had disappeared.
Yale immediately used his ears to find her and noticed her looping around him and attacking him from behind.
Yale tried to turn around, but Renee's speed was faster than expected as her hands were already wrapped around him.
She opened her mouth wide, revealing her fangs. It was then she finally bit Yale's neck, sucking his blood.
"Khhh!" Yale gritted his teeth as his strength started leaving his body.. He dropped to his knees as he called one name with a tired voice. "Teacher…"
