Chapter 115 - Fighting The Wraith

While Yale and the others contemplated their next move, Albert and Raisa were moving toward the forest.

It took them only a few minutes since they ran to the forest.

Without hesitation, Raisa sneaked up behind Albert and circled her hand around his chest.

If anyone saw them like this, they would have probably thought Raisa was hugging Albert, trying to seduce him with the sensation of her chest. But for Albert, he simply felt nothing.

"Let's go," Albert stated with a serious expression.

Raisa fell silent for a minute before nodding her head. Her wings flapped a few times before the wind gathered around her.

With a single leap from her, it felt like they were launched into the air.

After that, the wing stabilized their movement and the Magic Power helped them fly in the air.

"How is it?" Raisa asked.

Albert immediately activated his Bonk Eyes and looked around the area, including the sky. He shook his head in disappointment. "I can't see it yet."

"I'm not talking about that. I just want to know your thoughts about my breasts." Raisa chuckled.

"I don't think I'm gonna comment on that. Though, you have been talking a lot recently. My first impression of you was a cold and aloof swordsman."

"I just don't know what to talk about with strangers. But I have known you for the past day, so I think I can talk a bit more." She chuckled.

"…" Albert couldn't say anything. He only said, "Whatever. I just want to finish this fast and return. They seem to have experienced something good anyway."

"Well." She sighed. There was a task from the queen to keep Albert as long as she could. In fact, it would be better if she could seduce him, making Albert affiliated to their kingdom.

Unfortunately for them, Albert's heart was made of steel, so it was impossible for her to seduce him.

They continued flying for a while before some kobolds found them and raised their bows, aiming at them.

Albert pointed his palm toward them and summoned a Magic Circle.

"Bonk Rain."

A huge magic circle, 50 feet in radius, appeared in the night sky.

The Magic Circle shot Bonk Bats like rain.

The Bonk Bats struck some of them and killed them. But those, who survived by hiding behind a tree, released a howl, alarming the monsters in the surroundings.

"Isn't that a 4-Star Spell? That's similar to… Ehm, I forgot its name." She frowned and muttered.

Albert didn't respond to her comment and simply continued using his Bonk Rain to attack them.

Some kobolds raised their bows and shot them, but the Bonk Bats hit and deflected the arrows.

Still, with so many arrows rising to the sky, some arrows were bound to reach them.

'Anti-Horny Shield.' Albert activated his shield and protected himself from the arrows.

"Do you want to land on the ground?" She asked.

"No, it's fine. I still can handle them." Albert shook his head while looking down, trying to target the kobolds that could reach them. 'Bonkbolt.'

Five flaming Bonk Bats flew toward the forest and hit the kobolds. The explosions weren't big enough to catch the tree on fire, let alone on this cold and wet night.

However, they suddenly felt overwhelming pressure coming from above.

Raisa followed her instinct and lowered the altitude, but the presence followed them to the point Raisa needed to land and release Albert.

After that, she raised the sword hilt on her waist to block an incoming blade.

Albert could feel a cold wind gushing his skin as his Bonk Eyes saw an overwhelming Magic Power that came after Raisa.

The Magic Power was shaped like a big guy with the clothes fluttering due to the wind. There was also a form of a weapon carried by this big guy. It had a long shaft that Albert thought was a long blade.

"…" Albert hurriedly leaped back to gain some distance from this thing. "Can you see that?"

"No. But I can feel it right now since she's near me." Raisa shook her head and tried to talk with the wraith. "Shella, it's me, Raisa. I know you still have some power to think."

"Who's Shella?" A cold and soft voice echoed in their ears. Albert felt like something brushed his body until he shuddered.

Before Raisa could say anything, she took a step to the left and struck another invisible blade, resulting in the first blade being free.

It then moved toward her body, trying to chop her in one piece.

Raisa clicked her tongue and ducked down, avoiding the blade. After that, she struck the blades and pushed the wraith back.

Since Albert wanted the wraith to be his subordinate, she couldn't kill her, so her choice was limited due to her invisibility.

"Can you use your charm on her?" Albert asked.

Raisa didn't know about it since it was rare to find a wraith. So, she immediately activated her charm, amplifying her natural aura to entrance the wraith.

To his surprise, the plan worked.

"It works…" Albert muttered before raising his hand, summoning a Magic Circle beneath the wraith. "Bonk Light."

The Magic Circle let out a shining light that burned away the Magic Power.

"Aaah…" Shella screamed in pain as she felt her power leave her body.

"I'm Albert. I want you to come with me." Albert shouted, trying to get her to listen to him.

"Albert… Kill!" The wraith moved to the side.

"Kh." Raisa immediately leaped to the side to stop her, but Albert surprisingly moved forward, confronting Shella by himself.

"Eh?" Raisa abruptly stopped and shouted, "Are you insane?"

Albert didn't hear her words as he simply struck the wraith's blade without using anything.

Bonk.

The Bonk Bat generated a powerful force that pushed the wraith back. However, the wraith's momentum and power still launched him away.

"What?" Raisa widened her eyes, never thinking that Albert could do something like this.

"Shella is it? I'll say it again. I have the power to solve your problem. Come with me and I'll show you the power to fight that curse.." Albert stated.
