Chapter 153 - Going To The Elf Village

"Ah. What is happening?"

"The God is angry!"

Two elves, a man and a woman, clutched their heads while squatting. The man had wavy silver hair and a handsome face along with a slender but healthy body. The woman had smooth golden hair and a beautiful face.

"What is happening?"

"I don't know. We are just coming back. How are we supposed to know?"

When they saw all the birds flying away from the forest, fear took over their hearts.

"What are we going to do with this? Look at all those flying monsters. Even they are scared of what is happening right now… The God must be angry at us."

"Should we inform the village?"

"But the village chief is there. He is wiser than us, so he should know the answer."

"Then, should we regroup with the village chief?"

"That's right. Even though this is scary, we need to do it."

While they were talking, suddenly, a Demon Dog approached them. "Finally found someone."

The elves widened their eyes and turned around with surprised faces. They never thought that this place would have a visitor.

However, Albert's intention wasn't clear, so they immediately picked up their bows and aimed at him, preparing to shoot him down.

While holding their arrows, the male shouted, "Who are you?"

Before Albert said anything, the elves' bodies shook as they felt Magic Power fluctuating behind them. They wanted to react, but two Bonk Bats appeared right in front of their throats as Shella showed herself while saying, "You should stop pointing the arrows at my master."

"A wraith?" The elves shouted in unison, never expecting to see a wraith following someone.

"Why should we trust you?" The female gritted her teeth, glaring at Shella.

"You have no choice other than putting your bow down." Shella shook the bats a bit to show them that the bats were prepared to crush their throats.

The elves were unwilling, but since the wraith didn't attack them first, they thought there must be a reason why they approached them. After some consideration, the female put down her bow and the man followed.

Only then did Shella put down her Bonk Bats before stating, "We need the location about your village. The volcano is about to erupt."

"Why should we give away the village location? You must be an illegal slave trader!" The female raised her bow again, but the male elf placed his hand on her lower arm, stopping her. "Volcano is about to erupt… What does that mean? As you may know, we've been staying here for as long as we remember. Without any education about it, we can't understand what you're talking about."

"If the volcano erupts…" Shella mentioned what Albert said earlier about the volcanic eruption and somehow scared both of them to the point they fell on their butts.

"What did you say?"

"We are going to be wiped out?"

Shella nodded. "Yes. My master has imparted such knowledge to me. Whether you want to believe it or not, it's up to you. What we want is to save as many lives as possible. So, we would like to inform the village about this matter. We need you to share its location or guide us to your village."

"That…" The female looked down with a serious expression.

"Even if we bring this information, they won't really believe us. The best option is indeed to bring you there." The male, on the other hand, could see the bigger picture as he had been the smarter one among the two.

"That's good." Shella nodded and returned to Albert's side.

"But you should know that the moment you know our location, the chief might imprison you to avoid anyone from knowing it."

"We're aware of it. And if the chief is planning to imprison us, we're not going to go down easily." Albert finally opened his mouth.

"My master has been acknowledged by Her Majesty Lilith. If you imprison us, she will come here. If you kill us, you better prepare for the consequences." Shella added, threatening the elves of not thinking anything funny.

"…" When Shella mentioned Lilith's name, the two elves were shocked and thought they were the envoy from the kingdom to help them with this knowledge. After all, Lilith should know a bit about this occurrence.

With this identity, the male elf immediately stated, "I understand. I'll guide you to the village and inform the chief everything about you. Follow me."

The male elf immediately ran to the west. The other elf, Albert, and Shella followed him while preparing for a fight.

After all, the elf village should be in a panic as well. It wasn't the time for them to have a visitor. So, of course, they might do anything when they find them.

It took them twenty minutes to finally reach the elf village.

Because of the lack of tall trees, some of the wooden houses were on the ground, while the tall trees were filled with treehouses.

However, the occurrence earlier made every resident panic, resulting in them gathering in the center of the village while listening to a man talking in the middle.

The man looked like he was still in his late twenties. He had the same silver hair as the guy that guided them and wore a leather t-shirt covered with a blue leather vest. The two elves in front of Albert also wore the same outfit, but their vests were green instead of blue. With this difference alone, Albert knew the vests were the symbol of their status. And he confirmed it when he saw the same green vests worn by the villagers.

As soon as they reached the village, the male with the blue vest stopped talking and narrowed his eyes, staring at the two elves and Albert.

The people noticed the slight change in his expression and followed his line of sight, finding Albert and the others.

They were alarmed, but before they could do anything, the man asked with a grim expression. "For what reason do you two bring outsiders to this village?"
