A few days later.
By using the night as a cover, Albert and his group had arrived at the main camp.
As per agreement with Lilith, Raisa had come to meet them not far from the camp, avoiding people's attention. She even lowered the number of patrolling guards in that direction so that no one knew it was him.
Raisa bowed to him and said, "Welcome to the battlefield, Sir."
"Thank you." Albert waved his hand with a smile. "I think Lilith has told you about it."
"Yes. I've prepared a huge tent for all of you. Everything has been set up in that tent, from beds to your treatment area. You don't need to leave the tent as long as you're there."
Albert nodded and asked, "That's right. Has the hero moved yet?"
"Hero?" Raisa raised her eyebrows, never expecting Albert to mention him. Even she had no idea if the hero would start moving or not.
Out of curiosity, Raisa asked, "What do you mean by the hero? Can I safely assume that you know something that I don't?"
"Mhm. I don't know yet, but I believe the hero will come to the battlefield. One of the reasons I came here is him." Albert explained.
"Do you plan to kill the hero yourself?"
"Hmm. Not at the level of killing. To be honest, I don't really want to join the war. So… unless it's something necessary, I won't kill anyone. All I will do is probably beat the hero half dead." Albert shrugged.
Raisa looked down, contemplating. On the one hand, this information was extremely precious if it was right. On the other hand, she was slightly disappointed that Albert didn't want to kill the hero.
When he saw Raisa's doubtful expression, Albert added, "Of course. Although I will only beat him up, your action is not in my control after that."
"!!!" Raisa widened her eyes. As the general, she obviously knew what Albert meant. If the hero really appeared, there should be someone strong accompanying him.
She would need to handle that guy so that Albert could handle the hero. After all, Albert was the one bringing the information. As much as she wanted to set up an ambush, it would be better to let him do whatever he wanted.
And after beating the hero up, she could attack the hero and kill him. As long as she could stop that powerful guy from protecting the hero, she could kill him. There were even many ways to kill the half-dead hero.
Albert's permission was all she needed.
'Hmm… Her Majesty has told me to treat Sir Albert as if she is the one in front of me. This kind of status is not normal. Did something happen during my stay here?' Raisa thought, observing Albert's calm expression.
In the end, she nodded her head and agreed. "I understand. During your fight, no one will disturb you."
"Thank you." Albert smiled and pointed at the bag Bepe carried. "In Bepe's bag, there are a thousand blindfolds that you can use tomorrow."
"I understand. Her Majesty has sent the decree as well. I'll announce it tomorrow. But how do we guide them inside? Should I send my trusted subordinates?"
"We can create a rope for them to walk and we will help them sit inside," Yale answered.
"I understand. Everything inside can't be seen then." Raisa nodded in understanding.
How could they let them see the treatment when that special treatment was a beating from them.
"That's all. I think we should have some rest for today and deal with everything tomorrow."
"Indeed." Raisa agreed and handed them a long black robe for them to hide their appearance. "Although we have stationed the patrol far from here, you can still wear this to hide your identity."
Albert thought for a moment and accepted the robe for precaution.
After wearing the robe and covering his face with a thin cloth, Raisa guided them to their tent.
Some of them managed to see her together with a few masked men, but they didn't dare to ask anything about her. There were even some officials that joined to control the people around.
Because Albert wanted to hide his identity, it would be better not to have any contact with them. After all, if people knew his power, he would become the target of the humans.
It took them five minutes to reach their tent, which was quite close to Raisa's tent.
When they entered the tent, Albert took off his mask and observed the tent, satisfied.
Raisa then said, "This is your tent. You're free to do anything inside. And if you need anything, you just need to notify the succubus outside the tent. They'll take care of you and deliver the message if there's any. They're my trusted subordinates, so your information will be safe."
"Understood."
"I'll also bring the food and water through the other entrance and leave it there." Raisa pointed at a tray that seemed to cover a small area. "That's the place. Everything shall be left there."
"Okay. Thank you for your hospitality."
"Do you need anything else?"
"No. That's enough."
"Then… Good night." Raisa nodded and turned around, leaving the tent.
…
The next day.
Albert met Raisa again inside their tent to finalize the process.
"There will only be more than three thousand people today. Is that enough?"
"To be fair, it won't take too long. We can complete the treatment in half a minute. And there are six of us here… With a rough calculation, we should be able to handle three thousand soldiers in a day if we include the break and other stuff too. Though, we want to start from one person to check the treatment," Albert explained while the others prepared the chairs and ropes.
"Understood. Her Majesty told me to follow your instructions, so I'll leave them in your hands."
"Yeah. By the way, how many demons are in the army right now?"
Raisa paused for a moment, recalling the number. "Roughly over 60,000 soldiers."
"For real? I don't think I'll be able to bonk all of them. It's not like I'm planning to stay for long."
"Don't worry. Even if only three thousand demons got the treatment, we would still gain a major advantage."
"Oh. In that case, I won't hold back." Albert nodded. "I'll try to help as much as I can."
"Thank you very much." Raisa nodded.
"Alright. Let's start."
"Yes." After nodding her head once more, she exited the tent.
…
Thousands of soldiers stood in front of Albert's tent to receive the so-called treatment.
"What is happening here?"
"I don't know. The commander told us we're here to get treatment so that we won't be affected by the succubus charm anymore."
"Really? Do you know what that means?"
"That's right. If the succubus uses all their strength to charm our enemies while we're not affected, we can annihilate them easily."
They were talking about why they gathered here, curious about what kind of treatment could deal with the charm.
Of course, there could only be a few thousand to be treated out of the entire fifty thousand demons. After all, most of them still needed to march forward to fight the Risourin Kingdom's soldiers.
Still, even if there were only a few thousand that couldn't be affected, that was enough to completely turn around the situation.
While they were talking about the possibility as well as many random stuff, Raisa finally came out of the tent with a paper in her hand.
There was a huge pink seal on top of the hand so that everyone could see it was the royal decree.
"This is a royal decree!"
When they heard and confirmed the authenticity of the royal decree, all of them kneeled on one knee, preparing to receive the decree.
Raisa then continued, declaring out loud. "All soldiers other than the succubus and female nine-tailed foxes are to receive the treatment. At the same time, they're required to follow every instruction of the envoys I have sent here. Anyone who is found not following their instruction shall be charged with the greatest degree of crime and punished according to the martial law."
All of them trembled for a second, but they still shouted in unison. "We've received Her Majesty's Decree!"
Seeing how everything was in these special envoys' hands, they realized the status of these royal envoys. It was clear Lilith's decree was a bit reserved, showing that the punishment would indeed be delivered if they angered these special envoys.
Raisa then pointed at the left and right and shouted, "All of you shall form a line to the left and right. My people will help you in putting on the blindfold. As for the reason, you'll know about it after receiving the treatment. For now, no one shall ask any question."
"Understood."
The succubus under Raisa immediately moved around to help the soldiers line up. Obviously, because of the succubus' help, they became pretty horny. Their minds wandered around while waiting for their turn.
As soon as the line was ready, Raisa finally gave the final nod. "Starting from the left, enter!"
"Y-yes!" The muscular cyclops shouted and entered the tent. He grabbed the rope that led him forward while gradually making his way toward the chair, not far from the entrance.
"Come in." His hand was held by someone who helped him to sit.
"Ehm… What should I do?" The guy asked while turning his head left and right, wondering what kind of treatment he would receive.
Jessie's sweet and feminine voice echoed. "You don't need to do anything. It's going to be a bit wild, but it won't hurt."
"Ehm. Is that so?" The guy smiled, thinking the treatment would be related to sex.
Little did he know, Albert, Yale, Jessie, Bepe, Irena, and Shella were standing on his back with their Bonk Bats in their hands.. Their expression darkened as they looked at the guy as if looking at their prey.
