Chapter 181 - Talking

"Yes, Your Majesty. We've captured the hero, the great sage, and their companions." Raisa nodded with a serious expression. "And because of Sir Albert's effort, I managed to kill Marco."

Lilith raised her eyebrows and asked for confirmation. "Marco? That Marco?"

"Yes. The Wind Sword Saint, Marco Guel."

Instead of showing her joy, Lilith actually pinched the bridge of her nose, feeling troubled. "Seriously?"

"Sir Albert destroyed 7-Star Spells with just a swing of his bat. Both the barrier and the holy spell couldn't even last for a second." Raisa explained why she could kill Marco.

"And due to that, they became desperate and Marco sacrificed himself?"

Raisa nodded and explained, "I don't think it's possible to hide his identity anymore. Other Demon Kingdoms might make their move in order to bring him in, especially the Pride Kingdom since His Highness Yale was a prince."

"He won't go anywhere." Lilith waved her hand, thinking it wasn't a big deal.

"Your Majesty will personally make a move to stop them?"

"Oh, you were on the battlefield at that time, so you didn't hear this… Albert is now my fiance, you know."

"F-fiance?" Raisa widened her eyes in shock. She couldn't believe what she just heard. The succubus queen, who had been sending away any suitors, actually chose to marry… This was a big deal.

"What's wrong?" Lilith tilted her head in confusion. "Anywhere, Albert won't go anywhere. But it's true that the other Demon Kingdoms will try to approach him."

"Are they going to take His Highness Yale back?"

"Probably… The biggest movement will come from the Pride Kingdom and the Gluttony Kingdom."

"Gluttony? Why?"

"Yale's sweetheart is there and she threw away the opportunity to marry Albert's student… I'm afraid she'll be either married away or executed for a huge treason." Lilith sighed. "Can you ask Albert what is his next plan? I need to handle those people, you see."

"I understand. I'll ask Sir Albert later. Before that… Congratulations for your engagement, Your Majesty."

"Thanks." Lilith winked her right eye and smiled. But her face soon became serious again as she asked, "Anyway, we need to worry about the Human Kingdoms."

When she heard Lilith mentioning the human kingdoms, Raisa's face turned grim. "Unlike the Demon Kingdoms who wanted to bring Albert in, the Human Kingdoms won't hesitate to eliminate him."

"Yeah. The Demon Kingdoms won't try to eliminate him for the time being, since Albert is a precious asset to the demons who are fighting against the humans. But the Human Kingdoms see Albert as a huge threat.

"It's not easy for them to send high ranked people… Well, it's easy for us to locate them anyway. But still, it's going to be dangerous if the humans unite."

Lilith agreed with her opinion. "Exactly. That's why I need to ensure the situation first. We can use the hero and his companions as a bargaining chip."

"That might be a problem." Raisa scratched the back of her head and put on a wry smile.

"A problem?" Lilith was taken aback since this was one of the biggest reasons for them to capture those six people instead of killing them.

"Yeah. The great sage has been asking us to let him see Sir Albert."

"For what?"

"He wants to be Sir Albert's student to learn about the way of bonk. I'm not very sure myself."

"Did he say it in front of everyone?" Lilith's expression darkened.

"Yes."

"How was their reaction?"

"The hero seemed to have recognized it and gave some information to his women."

"Are we thinking about the same thing here?" Lilith squinted her eyes after getting her answer.

Raisa nodded in agreement. "They're not allowed to go back. The more people know about his power, the more dangerous the situation is. But they seemed to be talking about his power being related to our race, not his teaching ability."

Lilith knew Albert came from another world. So, she believed there were some abilities that Albert personally had. And if people knew about these two facts, humanity wouldn't hesitate to unite.

That was why they couldn't let go of the hero and the others. In fact, she couldn't use them in the negotiation.

"…" The problem had just become bigger. She let out a long sigh and looked at the ceiling. "I want to talk to him now. Can you arrange it?"

"I planned to thank him after reporting to you."

"Go now. I need to talk to him."

"Understood." Raisa immediately grabbed the mirror and exited the tent, flying toward Albert with the transmission mirror.

The demons were confused, but Lilith ordered them not to follow her.

As soon as Raisa found Albert, she put down the mirror and asked, "Her Majesty wants to talk to you."

"Albert. Do you know what you have done?" Lilith was the first to speak as she couldn't contain herself anymore.

"Yeah. My only miscalculation was the great sage. To think he would reveal my power…"

"Only miscalculation? Do you know that you're in deep trouble?"

"I know, I know." Albert waved his hand as if it wasn't a big deal. "My original plan was to reveal my existence. Without any confirmation, they wouldn't know it's bonk since the only two people who know about it have been captured."

"I wanted to negotiate with the human kingdom, you know…"

"That's impossible." Albert shook his head before looking away, saying, "Or so what Yale said."

"Hoh?" Lilith narrowed her eyes, getting interested in Yale's opinion.

"There are three other braves… which could unite the human kingdoms. Hence, it's more beneficial to capture all of them first before negotiating. By that time, I would have become strong enough to handle all problems."

"…" Lilith didn't say anything as if admitting she had the same opinion.

"But I heard that Raisa could hear the word 'Bonk' on the battlefield. So, that powerful magician would know about it too…"

Lilith continued his words, "That power will spread among the humans and the braves will recognize it."

"Yes. That's my only miscalculation. If they know about my power, it will be clear that you're going to make me your strongest ally instead of an archenemy. Not that they're wrong."

"Come on… It's not all about that." Lilith pouted when Albert didn't mention anything about 'love' or 'their relationship' since it was more important.

"So, you want me to sugarcoat my words? Ah, Lilith… My beautiful fiancee… I can't wait—" Albert started trying to be poetic while clutching his heart as if the words came from the bottom of his heart, but his action was full of sarcasm.

"Stop it. I'm wrong, alright?!"

Albert immediately changed his behavior again as though nothing happened. "Anyway, all you need to know is that I'm going to train myself a bit more. Right now, I should have no problem in using 6-Star Spell… But as expected, I need some stuff to consolidate my overall fighting style.

"Well, I'll send the runes to you as soon as possible. Where do you want to stay next?"

"I plan to stay around your southern border, since Yale wants to make his love a reality."

"Ehm, the vampire princess?"

"Yes."

"So, she didn't throw him away?"

"No."

"I see… In that case, you want to hurry since the moment their royal family hears about your power, they may marry her off… or even execute her just to please you. No one knows the entire situation is a misunderstanding after all."

"Hoh?" Albert widened his eyes. "Thanks for the information."

"No problem. Okay, there are two cities in that area… Hmm, what's the name again? Woodstar City and Pink Cloud Town. Which one?"

"The former."

"I'll prepare your home. Do you need a big building again?"

"Yale needs a big one since he plans to make a small school there while handling some political stuff for me."

"I see." Lilith nodded in understanding. "I will prepare two big buildings for you."

"Thank you so much."

"It's fine, it's fine. There's no need for thanks between us." Lilith waved her hand with a smile, treating this as not a big deal.

Seeing her action put a smile on his face. "In that case, you should trust me a bit. Even if they're planning to move, it won't be less than two months. After all, they will need to gather more information about Yale's marriage."

"Indeed."

"And by that time, I should be strong enough to use 7-Star Spell."

"So fast?" Lilith widened her eyes, never expecting Albert to use 7-Star Spell in just a few months.

"Yeah. Don't underestimate me." Albert smirked. "You might lose in our battle."

"I'm looking forward to it. In fact, if we play it right, we can delay them a bit more…" Lilith looked down, falling into deep thought.

Albert smiled. "That's your forte. I'll leave it in your hand."

Lilith snapped back to reality and agreed, "In that case, I'll do everything I can in this situation. Just be prepared for anything since I'll be contacting you through the brothel. Wait a minute… How long are you planning to stay in that city?"

"That's going to be my base of operation for a quite long time."

"I'll put a transmission mirror then and teach you how to use it later. We can contact each other easily."

"That's a good idea. I don't really mind."

"Good. Since I've confirmed your plan and what I should do, I think it's time to end this transmission. I need to make a lot of preparations after all." Lilith waved her hand and smiled. "See you later, Albert."

Albert also waved his hand.. "Yeah, see you later."
