Chapter 9 - 9

Chun awoken in a dimly lit place. It cannot be called a room because there's no door nor window, only endless darkness surrounding Chun.

Where am I?

Where is he? He was suddenly got dragged here in this room enveloped with darkness, only a lit lamp post above him was the source of light.

Am I dead?

"No, you're not,"

A hoarse velvety voice whispered. You can't tell if it's male or female because of its undistinguished sound.

"Who are you? Where am I?"

Common questions that you usually ask when you're in the midst of nowhere.

"Everything that you'll see was some fragments from your past"

Chun furrowed his brows resulting a crease on his forehead. Pondering about the hidden meaning within the words that the voice spoke.

Suddenly, a familiar nauseous sound vibrated around Chun. It was the same sound that he heard recently giving him a slight headache.

What is this sound?

Chun felt a bit light headed and his eyes went blurry while adjusting to his new surroundings. The first thing he saw was a tv static which was the vibrating sound came from.

Where is this place?

"This is where everything begins, it's your birth town"

The mysterious voice keeps on stating cryptic messages which baffled Chun even more. As what he remembered his birth town was Lucraine City on Sereign Continent and he totally recalled that there's no old-like looking tv on their mansion.

The scene went on from a couple holding a baby, only having few strands of silvery hair on the baby's head. They keep on smiling to each other; like this is the very joy of their life. The beautiful lady had ocean blue eyes which holds the depths of her joy while looking at their baby, she had a fair skin, white as snow, plump puckered small lips which held her smile and a straight pointed nose. And the handsome man had those red scarlet eyes with a hint of pink giving him a mysterious charm, he had as well a straight pointed nose, a little bit of tan skin but slightly pale and his smiling manly thin lips. They both look like a deity from heaven having their young beautiful and enchanting appearance.

They both ċȧrėssed the one year old child as their very precious treasure.

"Who are they?"

Chun suddenly clasped his hands onto his mouth, having the consequence of getting heard by the couple.

"They can't hear nor see you because this just a fragment of your past. And they are your past parents"

"Past parents?" Chun asked the voice from his head but the mysterious voice didn't answer.

As what Chun knew, he never encountered this couple, they're not even acquainted so zero posibility for them being his parents.

"Eydhdbkdj gsyhdjnd..."

"Fgsyhdkndgjjxybxk ghd shhsudbty..."

Chun never understood every words that they are both using.

"That's a deity language, every gods and goddesses spoke with it"

"So they are both deities?" Chun was amazed by this scene. He never thought this is really a god and a goddess, they just look like an ordinary husband and wife minus their astonishing features.

"Obviously"

Chun felt that this voice was being sarcastic with its reply.

"What kind of deities they are?"

"Find it out"

In an instant, the scene change. Chun witness how the child grew into a fine young lady with her silky long silvery hair but her face is very blurry.

The young lady was being approach by a youth with midnight black long hair that was in a high pony tail. And at the same time, Chun can't see clearly the face of the young man.

The scene then switch onto another, the young lady was now riding a baby snow dragon though it's large but it is still very young. They were both flying through the sky while being chased by some people wearing black robes riding on their mystical swords and beasts.

The young lady with her dragon suddenly went down because they were hit by the people chasing them.

The dragon came crashing down with the young lady.

After that scene, the place suddenly shook. Returning Chun to his starting point which is under the lamp post.

"That was all were part of your past. And that's just the first fragment"

"First fragment? What do you mean?"

Chun was very confused of what's this mysterios voice telling on him.

"There's a total of ten fragments on unlocking your sealed past but the choice is up to you, if you want to unveil your past or keep on being hidden in the dark"

"Ten fragments? Is this a quest your talking? Finding for my lost past?"

"Maybe. By the way, you can only collect this fragments on every each continent. Good luck, Scythe"

"Wait!"

Chun finally open his eyes, adjusting his blurry sight to the sudden presence of light.

"Young Master?!"

"Young Lord?"

Chun blinked to focus his sight on the two servants.

"How many hours did I slept?"

Asking his two worried servants.

"Young Master, you did not only sleep for an hour!" Akiara had a panick look on her face while fidgeting with her broom.

"3 days had passed already, Young Lord" As usual, Art was still calm even though he's a bit worried on his master.

Chun was utterly shocked by what he had heard,"What about the event?"

"It was postponed, Young Master" Akiara replied sullenly.

Tsk. I thought I can finally escape from the grasp of this royals. Sigh

Chun internally had a breakdown.
