The two were brought by the man that introduced himself as Aurumn.

As weird as its name but his cabin was sure cozy, Aurumn prepared food for the guest using his magic. Not surprising the two ladies 'cause they already considered that the beings that were living on each terrains can use their magic while they were not.

"So Mr. Aurumn, where's this target that you're referring?" Fa Jiu bluntly asked, not wasting any time.

"Too hot to calm down---" Aurumn cutted his jesting when the two glared at him.

"Tss"

There's no helping on being nice. Since that being good is not my style. Aurumn smirk and stop himself from preparing any food.

"Before I'll give you the targets, you must pass my test"

Fa Jiu was running hastily for her life while this big baby snake was going to bite off her head.

Maybe, it's most safest to locate the cave than to pass this fool's test.

While Kira was shooting burning arrows on the snakes hard scales. How would they defeat this if they didn't know the weakness of this saint -level beast namely Serpent.

Though it's a baby serpent yet it's level was so unbelieving to be true. Cherry trees are known to be dense with qi so it's not questionable for their level to be this high and I repeat that this terrain was known to be home by high levelled creatures.

Fa Jiu sighed inwardly and keep on attacking the wild serpent while forming some plan on her head.

Observing this smart yet reckless beast, there's something strange on its actions other than it keeps on moving like a soulless puppet and never steps on Kira's formation like it has a master on its own.

Puppeteer?

So this is not practically a saint level beast even though it has an aura of it but the denseness of qi centered on its forehead was really unusual.

Usually, common beast like serpents are tend to be sly when it comes to their energy core and they don't normally show their weakness.

Fa Jiu summersaulted towards Kira's side, adjusting her footing,"That's a puppet"

"Yeah. I see"

"So then I find the puppeteer and you destroy that core" I silently relayed to her my plan while doing some dodging of the serpent's tail. Kira Su jump high, releasing her qi-induced arrows while at the same time she mouthed an 'Okay'

I figured out as much where's the puppeteer.

Fa Jiu swayed and dashed through the cherry trees while performing her acrobatics just to dodge the serpent. She knew that the marionnette was aiming at her. Nearing the location of the puppeteer, she was ready to launch her attack when the puppeteer's back was facing at her. Yet, Fa Jiu was left still on her tracks when this so-called manipulator of the puppet turned his head.

President Kali was ready to smash these bleachers because of the chaos that was created by 'some' people.

He just watch the spectacle, irritation forming on his face. Just some minutes ago, the monitor went back and they're now watching Fa Jiu and Kira Su fighting a saint-levelled beast that was not supposed to be on this terrain (unknown to Jiu and Kira) and it was a serpent. Yes, it is just some common beast but they don't literally go out on broad daylight because for the heaven's sake they are nocturnal species. And this was the confirmation that someone was interferring and not just someone, it's an outsider. It would be really bad if it's a ghoul.

So this is how it turned out, the handlers were panicking for their student's sake, yes, you can stop the competition but you can't literally stop it, if you cease the terrain simulatio while there are participants in there the illusion barrier would backlash at them. A really not good consequences, the last thing Kali remembered that a student fell in a five-month coma because of it and good to know she was still alive yet crippled.

Practically, it's not the President's fault that the older brother of the headmaster established this simulation two decades ago.

Kali turn his head to his left side when he felt that the teacher he was sitting with went stiff, the aura that was coming out of him was cold, making the cold winter season more colder. A chill past on his spine when his fingers graze the forehead of Chun.
