After healing himself with Healing Fire, he was able to journey deeper the next floor. Zero concluded that if he did not met halfway the culprits who held captive Xiu Jia and Lerrent then he needed to go deeper in this black tower.

At the second floor, a colony of bugs were living there. Zero eventually noticed that his system was suddenly giving out additional informations either its weaknesses or some descriptions of the enemy.

The insects had an appearance of a spider but its head was a ċȯċkroach and they were two times bigger than Zero. The difficulty of killing them wasn't only their hard skin but they moved in groups.

Zero did not face these opponents head on as he asked the system for the mini bombs. He did not know if he had unlimited mini bombs but he knew that he couldn't just waste his energy using his spells to fight them. His qi whirlpool was halved from just using the Dark Solar so he replenished his qi whirlpool, earlier and fortunately, his qi conversion was faster than expected as he was able to fill his qi whirlpool less than one minute.

On the other side, Chun did not disturbed the young man from exterminating all of the creatures inside this black tower as she just observed the actions and reactions of Zero. The more she witnessed the decisiveness of the young man, the more she wanted to befriend him, sincerely. She wanted Art to see this kind of individual as to learn from Zero.

It was already two months and they yet to finish some things here. Chun estimated that she might have one month left in saving Art.

(Zero, we need to hurry. I have urgent matters that I needed your ȧssistance.)

The youth did not asked further as he sensed the promptness of Chun and as they were linked due to their bloodline, he felt the worry and uneasiness of the girl.

'Is it about the item or something else?'

Zero thought about Chun's favor of retrieving an item in Sereign continent but he just buried it in his mind as he devised a plan to make these pesky bugs gather in one place in order for him to proceed.

He hidden himself and crept silently as he observed the bugs which were marching back and forth on their places as they looked for the young man who suddenly disappeared.

Those disgusting face of the bugs made Chun scrunched her forehead. This was her first time of seeing these kind of insects and she was a bit astonished as she had no idea what they were, Chun was a bookworm so she knew all kinds of creatures out there that could be seen in a forest or a dungeon but these things were unheard of.

'Are they in an another dimension?'

They both had the same thought.

Kilius was playing a lollipop on his hand as he looked at two kidnapped victims in a bored manner.

Xiu Jia who was always noisy and carefree had now a menacing vibe as she glared at the man who was sitting infront of them. While Lerrent was unusually calm as he closed his eyes. Both of them were in a haggard state as dirt and blood could be seen on their figure.

Their hands were tied above their heads as both of their feets were a centimeter away from the ground. Traces of dried blood and teared part of their clothing could be seen as Kilius gave pŀėȧsurė of torturing them every minute that would passed by.

He unwrapped the lollipop while saying, "Another minute went by and your savior isn't here yet."

"How would he automatically go here when you arranged the portal in the peak of the Soul Tower?!" The ice princess shouted, angrily at the smirking Kilius.

The Soul Tower was built by Xeris for the purpose of storing his armies and servants, and it was located in another realm that was adjacent to Xanxia.

Unbeknownst to the deity, his licentious subordinate was using it for his dirty pŀėȧsurės of playing with his victims. Kilius had the power of drawing out illusions due to the vast energy from the Soul Tower and he could summon lower ranked soldiers on his stead. Though, he was given control to manage the Soul Tower but the Master (Xeris) did not stated about using it for unnecessities nor he stated about not being allowed to use it. So the wise Kilius debated with his wit even though, the Master had no knowledge of this scheme that he crafted.

But the Master tasked him to get rid of Zero and he was just following orders.

He then smiled at Xiu Jia and responded, "How will I know if he's the true Great Conqueror if he can't eliminate all of the beasts in the tower?"

Though, he obliged about his Master's orders but he doubted about the existence of this so-called Great Conqueror. Decades had already passed and the prophesied individual just appeared at this moment where his Master was able to had a foothold of his plan. That's why he couldn't let this variable escaped.

"You will regret this! Axec will not let you off and Xeris!" Xiu Jia blurted as she sent a piercing glare at the other.

"And why would that minor deity will participate at this battle between four factions… unless…" Kilius with narrowed eyes, held the chin of the ice princess as he looked at her.

"What are you saying?!"

Instead of receiving a proper reply, she answered a spit on his face that angered the Serpent. His pupil dilated like a reptile's eyes as he controlled it.

He wiped the saliva from his face as he smirked while still holding the face of the ice princess as he neared her ear and whispered, "That Greatworld King wasn't able to differentiate between gold and scrap. He picked that mortal woman than you."

Kilius plan of irking Xiu Jia was successful as he saw the arrogance of the ice princess was dozed as she glared at him.

Subsequently, as Zero killed those Soul Bugs, he was able to hear the familiar ringing of the system.

Obviously, it's not about levelling up as the system had no function for that.

Knowing that he eliminated all of the Soul Bugs on this floor, he did not immediately proceeded to the next floor. Due to pressing events, he wasn't able to examined the uses of his stats so he wanted to test out now if there would be a difference between a balanced stats than the only one concentrated stat.

He then asked for the opinion of Chun without revealing about the system.

(You mean video games? Yes, I played once to see if it was truly entertaining and at first it was interesting but at the end of the game, I realized that it was not my taste to waste time like this because it consumed energy.)

It was not new to Chun to have a habit of labelling a video game like 'consuming of energy' as she was in nature lazy if not for her butler that would be always at his service and her father that would also reminded her about her bad habits, she would totally turned into a neet. But most of all, not for her entangled fate with the Phoenixian oracle, her life would be like a smooth-sailing ship with some waves to encounter.

(You mean stats about intelligence, strength, stamina and agility? In a game's point view, a warrior class would most likely spent all of his stat points in strength, a mage class in intelligence as it would increased their summoning or chanting rate, a thief/assasin class would concentrate it on agility for faster reflexes and movements, and sometimes in stamina as well to strengthen their endurance.)

Zero listened to the girl's ideas as he gladly acknowledged it. He then concluded to invest more in the intelligence stat and agility stat.
