The first general of the Sereign continent was known to be a stern, ascetic man who was best at leading the army of soldiers, was loyal to the Sereign king, and had fewer reliable connections. The only person that could stand side by side with the general was his second-in-command Lieutenant General Ryo Konishi.

Among the four generals of the king, Xi Chen was the youngest and the coldest of them all. In banquets held by the king, he would be the only one less crowded by the people even though they revered him as a skilled general nobody dared to cross his personal space despite there were some bold women who would offer there body to him, they would usually end up to Ryo as Xi Chen had no interest with them.

He was a cold dangerous man who Chun thought somewhat resembled someone. The silver haired young man looked at the corner of the tavern as to detect her butler who was just observing the scene. Art immediately perked up from his location looking like a puppy who finally gained the attention of his master. Chun giggled at this as she turned to look at the general.

"First general Xi Chen? Pleasure to meet you," Chun stated as she offered her hand while the general unexpectedly shook it in responds.

'Something had changed.'

Chun thought as she smiled at the cold general. The silver haired young man then led Xi Chen upstairs where the rooms were located. As they conversed, Chun was able to learn that the general was an admirer of her father, despite his indifferent face as he told about the amazing feats of Chun's father, there would be a hint of liveliness in his voice.

The Ministry of Defense where her father held a position as the head, had a usual work that needed cooperation with the first general in terms of battle strategy and due to the help of Shenin, the general was able to defeat his opponents with ease, that's why he revered Chun's father as his master.

This discovery made the silver haired young man speechless as she mustered a wry smile at the general. Though, there would be ripple effects in going back to time but she didn't know to what degree it affected. Did it affect as well the happenings before the day she came back into?

She had no idea.

----

Instead of allowing the driver to proceed inside the institute. The silver haired young man halted the carriage as she decided to reminisce the 5 kilometer- walked she had undergo during her application at the institute, the mistake about ȧssuming that the school was just near from the entrance.

Art who was with her, walked beside the youth as the butler was curious to what the silver haired young man wanted to do as she decided to stroll on this long road when the last time he remembered, she had complained about this tiring path.

After hours of walking, Chun didn't grumble about anything which was surprising to the butler but Art still refrained from asking the young master as he didn't want to disturb the happy skips that the silver haired young man would do while swaying both her hands.

The display of ability by the silver haired young man earned her adoring gazes from the female students due to her dashing looks as she landed, gracefully. Some male students were checking out the appearance of the youth as they couldn't help but be fooled by her androgynous beauty that couldn't only catch the attention of girls as the boys were drawned to her as well.

Behind these admirations, there would be a couple of groups who naturally disliked the youth. It was the group of Kiso from the Star department.

In Harconia Institute, there was a division of departments. There were four existing departments, Star department where genius martial practitioners came from, Elite department where talented martial practitioners were admitted, Moon department were for those ordinary cultivators and lastly, Minds department which composed of only seven students and their handler, an untalented yet special cases of students.

"Showing off your ability but teaching wastes," the loud insult of Kiso was heard by the silver haired young man as she innocently looked at the latter's direction.

With a confuse expression, Chun stated, "Stars?"

The one word of the youth created a turmoil of humiliation within Kiso as the students that were present couldn't help but laugh at Chun's word.

Kiso Star who was in the Star departmet and taught star students… it would be such an embarrassment to open it up in this crowd even though the people around already verbally knew this pun.

"You brat!" Due to shame, Kiso who couldn't endure it anymore, wanted to kill this brat who didn't know anything better. He was about to attack the 'clueless' youth as Chun was silently manipulating a grass root on the foot of Kiso while she maintained her innocent face.

It earned a laughter again from the students as the star teacher stumbled on his own foot which was truthfully due to Chun's scheme. Even Kiso's students behind him couldn't help but restrain their giggles.

"Vice headmaster Quin!" Chun greeted which also made Kiso and the others look to where she was staring at but there's no one in there. As Kiso wanted to kill the brat due to being fooled, the silver haired young man was nowhere to be found while a group of female cultivators were left blushing.

"Almost got caught there," Chun sighed as she wiped her imaginary sweat.

'Young lord, are you okay?' Art mind link his young master who had a cheeky expression opposite to her fatigue voice.

'I'm good, Art. It's good to be back!'

'Huh?'

'Nothing. I'll be going to the class hall now. Prepare---'

Chun stopped her thoughts as someone just lifted her up from the ground like a naughty cat.

"Master Quin, I caught him," Rin stated on her communicator as the silver haired young man couldn't help but squirm on her hold. She wasn't inform that the slender female ȧssistant Rin was this strong, a perks of being a cultivator.

"Bring him to the office," a chilling voice responded.

"Rin? Did I break the rules or something?"

Rin ignored the whinning young man as she dragged her to the vice headmaster's office.

-----

Inside the modern-style room with monochromatic colors of white and gray gave an impression to the simplistic yet serious man. Quin was seated on his comfortable swivel chair as he reviewed the records of some students.

Chun was silent as she had no idea what she was doing here. The man infront had been quiet since she arrived, the silver haired young man couldn't help but compare the general with him, though they had 'symptoms' of being a cold person yet Xi Chen was more predictable for the young man as the other was a bit unreadable due to his mysterious vibe.

The female ȧssistant was nowhere to be found as she left the silver haired youth by herself. Deciding that she had something more important to do, Chun cleared her throat.

"Vice headmaster? Umm… I maybe late with my class now," pretending to be worried, Chun was about to stand up when the busy person infront stopped her.

"I have something to ask you about," Quin started.

----

Their conversation left confusion to Chun as she walked mindlessly towards the class hall. They talked about something new that didn't happen in the past.

The Yu household wanted to open the case in order to search for the former head patriarch as he secretly stole the family heirloom which cursed the household and caused the deaths of each family members.

The silver haired young man frowned at this matter as she didn't believe that a curse was involved to the murders within the household but she needed to figure it out first. Quin told her that the institute decided to send the Minds to handle the case while Chun willingly accepted it and treated it as their first mission.

Chun arrived infront the double doors but she didn't immediately open it as she was remembering what was her last activity with the class. She remembered that they were profiling the killer of the second elder of the Yu Household but still she wanted to confirm that it really happen.

The silver haired youth heard a strange clicking sound coming from the doorknob that made her smirk. 'Oh, another ploy of theirs.'
