It was 6 am in the morning, Chun with her students crowded the living room as they were solving a piece of puzzle. They discovered that the killings had a pattern to it. The culprit only killed family members that were ranging from twenty to forty-eight. Comparing the cases of deaths, the killer had a motive of destroying the Yu household slowly and painfully by making them suffer from losing their capable family members.

The silver haired young man felt that her judgement about the culprit having a group of accomplices was wrong. Her instincts were telling him that this murder plot was instigated by only one person. Based on the deaths, the culprit deliberately left a clue which didn't make sense. As Lerrent and Chun examined those clues, it wasn't from the victims as they were written by the culprit using the victim's blood. Why would 'they' purposely left a clue for their crimes?

It truly didn't make sense.

The other members of the Minds were busy with their own ȧssigned task as it was their start of operation today, Rye was tasked to monitor the whole mansion even the mansions of the side branch families were monitored as well through Li Li's mobilized mini cameras. Han and Kai Sun were tasked to gather relevant informations around, what did the servants do, where were the other family members at, what were the rumors around the Yu household and what was going in with their daily matters. Terra and Lith were into profiling the possible traits of the culprit/s.

The sloth young man was feeling his symptoms again due to using too much brain power that he couldn't help but yawned in sleepiness. Though, he still endured while reading the documents that Chun gave him.

Chun was seriously staring into the bloody paper that was given to her by the ȧssistant. Currently, the head patriarch and his ȧssistant wasn't present as they had matters to attend with. She was informed that Yu Haein was the last victim of the murder and it happened last month.

The living room was a perfect plot of provoking the culprit if 'they' saw that the team of the silver haired young man didn't gave up. Chun was testing some of her conjectures.

Unintentionally, the attention of Chun landed on the charismatic butler at the side who was attentively standing at a corner, awaiting for any orders. Butler Samuel was the ȧssigned servant for them while staying here at the Yu household. Sensing the stare of the silver haired youth, he responded with his charming smile.

Chun then removed her gaze at him as she went on analyzing the note.

'Breeze of flora. Sweet and gentle . Moment of time. Nothing but faint.'

Every phrase that was messily written by blood had no connections with each other but somehow Chun knew that there was a message behind this.

'Young lord, just look to the first and the end of letters. You might see something.'

Art communicated as he saw this paper already that night when the silver haired young man was reading it.

'Breeze of florA. Sweet and gentlE. Moment of timE. Nothing but fainT.'

Even without elaborating his explanation, Chun knew what he was meaning on. Immediately, the silver haired youth got up from her chair and stated, "Samuel, where's the basement here?"

The sudden movement of Chun earned her gazes from the students who were busy on what they were doing.

Not knowing why did the young master suddenly asked for the basement, the butler maintained his smile and answered, "You may follow me, young master."

As Lerrent couldn't tag along and the others were busy, Chun decided to go alone with the butler. Samuel led the silver haired young man to the basement of the mansion. They walked hallways through hallways due to the huge mansion, if Chun had no guide leading her, she would probably get lost to the twisting identical paths. The corridors that they passed by had varying designs but you could see the hints of antiquity of the mansion even though they were covered by elegant decorations and luxuries that was trying to hide the decrepitude of the mansion.

"Is the mansion haven't undergone remodelling?"

They continued to walk as the butler replied, "The elders didn't want to touch this mansion that was built by the Yu family's ancestors during silver age as it would tarnished the fortunes that it brought to the family."

"Fortunes?"

"Yes. When the mansion was built, the Yu family was still a stronghold in the business world, specifically in ancient artifacts and it was believed to be the luck that the mansion brought."

It wasn't a coincidence that Yu Luo was an artifact collector because it was embedded in their genes this kind of hobby. But Chun noticed that the Yu family liked to believe in superstitions.

"Then the mansion had hidden passages that only the elders knew?"

Momentarily, Samuel stopped his walk then continued as he explained, "When I was a child, my father would usually tell me stories about this mansion."

The silver haired young man listened to what the butler was talking as she eyed him intently. Due to their interesting conversation, Chun didn't notice that they were now infront of the basement door.

"Shall I accompany you inside?" Samuel asked.

"No need." Chun went in as the butler was left by the doorway. There were stairs leading down the basement as the silver haired youth started to descend.

'Be careful, young lord,' Art reminded as he followed his young master through the shadows.

Finally, Chun landed her foot on the solid ground as the lights suddenly turned on. It was Art who switched it on.

The basement was full of old porcelain statues and figurines, there were boxes of colorful rocks, too. One could identify that these stuff were rejected products as Chun examined it, there were uneven details of the figurines, there were cracks on it and even the other artifacts were neither could passed a expert artifact criticizers eyes.

"Young lord, I found something here."

The silver haired young man neared the butler's location and a strange artifact appeared in her sight. It looked like a clock if not for the inverted pendulum that had an attached clock hand which was pointed in the east direction. The round object had a compass direction of north, east, west and south that made Chun baffled.

Chun turned around the strange clock and there was a familiar text on its back. It was the same text written on the exquisite box of the Eishener cube.

The ignes text used random runic symbols that indicated the rising of the sun in the east and the setting of it in the west. The silver haired young man took the object as she went out from the basement.

"Did you find something that could help you in your investigation, young master?" With his charming smile, Samuel inquired as he closed the basement door.

Chun hummed in affirmation and went back to the living room with the butler.

"Right. Teacher, I found something amusing!" The gossip king with glinting eyes suddenly spoke with eagerness.

"I found out that the side branch family head Yu Hai is into younger boys!"

A cough came out from Samuel as his face reddened from awkwardness. Han smacked Kai Sun due to his unfiltered mouth while the silver haired young man frowned at the unrelevant information. The others couldn't help but giggle with the latter's impulsiveness.

"Wait! That's not it--- Yu Hai had an odd activity during night. He would leave at 11:30 pm accompanied with his servant boys and went back without those servants. He was the only one in the family members who wasn't present at his sleeping quarters when the incident happened, last night!"

Chun narrowed her eyes as she asked, "Did he brought someone with him?"

"Yes! But the servant boy was nowhere to be found."

"Let's go, let's seek him out," Chun stated as Kai Sun and Han went with her.

----

Birds chirping with melodious sound and the sun was shining brightly on the plants in the courtyard of the first side branch family mansion.

Previously, as Chun with Samuel and her students came in the place. The side branch family head was busy teasing with a boy servant who was giggling at his touches. If not for the announcing voice of Samuel, they might already got deeper with their business.

Han and Kai Sun was looking elsewhere as they didn't want their eyes to be tainted while Chun with her uncaring manner sat down in the chair prepared by the butler.

Yu Hai was immediately drawned to the enchanting creature infront of him when suddenly the silver haired young man broke his fantasies. "Your night activities have been exposed, where did you brought those servants that accompanied you?"

With anger present on his expression, he shouted, "Samuel! What b*tch did you bring inside my mansion?!"

'Young lord, should I kill him?' A hint of darkness could be heard on Art's tone if not for the dismissing attitude of his young master.

"Family Head, they're not for your entertainment. They are here to investigate about the murder cases and they wanted to ask you something." Samuel easily mitigated the mood of Yu Hai.

Yu Hai frowned but calmed himself as he warily greeted Chun, "I am Yu Hai, the head of the Yu side branch families." The silver haired young man with her unbothered expression didn't mind the gesture as she persisted on asking.

This was the so-called hitting the pan while it's hot. Chun was agitating the person in order to see if he was innocent.
