Hurried steps of an individual could be heard in the misty night at Lane Street. The girl around in her mid-teens stopped for a moment to catch her breath. Long eyelashes fluttered softly as her pink pouty lips panted. She had a fair skin, blonde hair and brown eyes as it mirrored her current state of being terrified.

Remembering that she was being followed, she looked back as to see the chaser. She was scared and horrified by this creep, it has been two weeks that she sensed someone was following her but it would silently disappear once she tried to confirm it, ȧssuming that she was just scaring herself, she brushed her thoughts away from it but she didn't know that the stalker would be this bold now to start his pursuit. The biting coldness of the air didn't fazed her as she was more worried with her safety

The dark alleyway was shrouded by the misty fog as it would be usually like this at Vanette Island City during night time. The island was surrounded by a body of water that gave the city in the island a cold chilling climate.

The girl in uniform was studying at Ferto Mari Academia as she was a trainee artist. She didn't have any fandom yet and it made her curious as to why this person was chasing her but she had no guts to confront the stalker as she felt that her life would easily ceased if she stopped from escaping.

'Oh no!' She thought while looking at the high wall at the end of the alley.

Footsteps echoed from her behind as she slowly turned around while trying to think positively, this must be one of her fans. Even though she was not yet famous, someone would be undeniably attracted by her looks. Nodding to herself, she gazed at the chaser. Her narcissistic thoughts was immediately buried away as her pupils dilated in maximum. She dropped to the cemented ground, breathes' ceasing.

The silver haired young man frowned from being disturbed as Art volume down the television while watching the news headlines.

"Art, wait."

The butler was about to change the channel but Chun stopped him. In the news, a very pallid corpse was projected and a face of a girl who was admitted at Ferto Mari Academia as a trainee, displayed at the side. A cry of a woman was transmitted through the television as she tried to get close to her daughter.

It was said that this was the ninth victim of the Chaser, the infamous killer in the Vanette Island City as the culprit would chase the target first before proceeding for his kill but the strange thing was the corpses had no signs of stab wounds, slashes or any physical infliction that could kill them, it would be the usual paleness of the corpse and it's hollowed eyes.

Chun focused her attention to the reporter as she squinted her eyes in curiosity. Immediately, the television blackened as the butler called for the silver haired young man at the dinning table. It was time for dinner.

After her supper, Chun was prepared for another round of training her divine power when Art handed something to her. The seal that was attached on the envelope was familiar. It has a white star in the middle as it was being surrounded by a silver tri-rings.

'Why is this looks like our household's insignia?'

The silver haired young man almost slapped herself for being stupid as this letter came from her family household. She knew already the contents of this letter even without opening. Though Chun still decided to open it.

She unfolded the letter handed by her butler. The letter came from her father, Shenin. It told her not to go home this winter season because his uncle from Phoenix continent would be staying at the mansion. Even though it's illogical to see a King leaving their own kingdom but Zeno could do it because he's that 'incredible', dismissing his duties to the person who he trusted the most, his mother, Chun's grandmother.

The most avoided matter of Shenin occured and he didn't like this situation, when he couldn't control the outcome.

Shenin wished Chun to be healthy and always stay out of trouble, and that was the end of the letter.

The silver haired young man sighed inwardly and folded the letter. Well, she sighed because she knew already what was written on it due to her retentive memory. Reading it twice didn't make a difference.

'So what would be Art's action this time?'

Chun observed the butler intensely which made Art unknowingly tensed. Five minutes passed by and the butler was still standing motionless on his position while the young master kept staring. He had no idea what was the silver haired young man was thinking but he was sure that, this youth was scheming something.

The innocent lazy young man had no idea that her observing stare was being perceived as scheming as she just turned away, finding it boring to watch the unmoving person.

Changes was truly inevitable as the silver haired young man sighed once again.

Within the dorm building of the Harconian students, at the top most floor where only seven rooms where located, one of the lights was still on, as the sloth young man pondered in his thoughts while lying on his bed.

Strangely, he couldn't fall asleep because of the bothering thoughts that had been occupying his mind. This was unusual for Lerrent as he was just a person who didn't care anything at all but just his sleep; yet somehow he sensed deja vu these days as if this things had occured in the past.

A buzzing of his communicator woke him up from reverie as he answered it. The loud voice of his cousin greeted him. Amis laughed from the other side as he imagined the disturbed face of the sloth young man.

Remembering what his call was about, he told Lerrent about the King leaving the palace as to meet their youngest cousin in Sereign. His voice was full of enthusiasm and vigor that made the young man frowned from the liveliness of Amis.

Lerrent hanged up after Amis had nothing to say anymore. In his sleepy eyes, a deep whirlpool of darkness slowly stirred as he looked at a certain direction.

'Cousin from Sereign? Hmm.'

Amis returned his communicator in his pocket as he smiled due to the successful attempt on hinting the sloth young man to come by the palace. Lerrent was somehow avoiding on coming home which Amis was tasked by Lerrent's older brother to persuade the other.

This was his thirty-fifth attempt of persuasion and he ȧssumed that he got through. Since then, he kept in contact with the sloth young man every night to remind him of coming home. Truthfully, he was just an innocent bystander who decided to help between a matter of a father and son. Daigo and him was usually the mediator of the fight between First Uncle Kin and his cousin Lerrent.

He had no idea what was the root of cause of this fight, since the sloth young man left the kingdom and decided to study at Harconia Institute in TwinCity Continent. The father and son had never been reconciled.

The man had an ink black hair as his black deep eyes who had the same shape as the sloth young man was concentrated on the paperworks infront of him. Lerrent and Daigo were brothers but they were both unlike with each other. The sloth young man was unmotivated and lazy while his older brother was stern and decisive.

Daigo was the first born of Kin who was the second brother of King Zeno and he was the next heir to the throne as Zeno had no offspring due to his bachelorette status. He had many beautiful women by his side but he had married none. Though Daigo was the entitle crown prince, he has no interest in the crownship that's why the King bothered himself to travel to Sereign continent in order to see if that long lost nephew of his could be suitable for the throne.

As it was good to have an heir who had an interest and capabilities than to have a capable one but had none because it would affect the kingdom as well.

"What is it?" The crown prince asked while he looked sternly at his cousin.

"Well, I somehow persuaded your precious brother…" Amis wasn't able to finish his sentence when Daigo cut him off.

"So you're unsure?" Then he went back to his work.

An individual wearing a black cloak as his face was covered with stashed of bandages as well as his legs and arms, was standing at the peak of an industrial building. The dark skies covered his presence while the glinting dots of the city lights reflected on his dark soulless.

The last victim of his was truly a beauty. He needed to fine more beauty in order to sate his unbecoming appetite. He couldn't help but appease his hunger every night as it was the most ideal time for his favorite hunt. Hunting for those scared beauties.
