In a moment, the silver haired young man and her students were in a lavished carriage together with the young missus and her personal servant. As the young missus was a precious daughter of the governor, Chi offered a ride for them as they arrived at the porch.

They safely travelled through the road as the vehicle was very smooth to ride in. It was a silent ride while the doe-eyed young missus was openly staring at the silver haired young man with intensity. Kai Sun who was at the side of their handler couldn't help but dislike this immature daughter of the governor.

If Kai Sun had beforehand prepared his carriage for this trip, they wouldn't be dealing this current situation. The gossip king wasn't only good at spreading rumors, gathering informations but his family was a powerful household and they had connections to every continent in Xanxia. Though they wouldn't utilize it when it wasn't necessary.

Kai Sun was ȧssuming independency, one of the reason why he declined to ask help from his family. He had been reliant to none since attending Harconia and the other reason, he wanted to prove himself even without his household's backing, he could stand on his own.

Born in a prestigious and noble household with siblings who had incredible talents and skills. Kai Sun's household were composed of superior and excellent figures and that made him as the only odd one because he had neither of those talents and he wasn't gifted nor excellent, too.

He remembered that when he was learning horseback riding with his younger brother who was only ten years old while he was sixteen that time. The younger brother of his was a fast learner as he was able to ride a horse with no difficulty which made him felt a bit unfair because he was more older than him and how many times did he tried to tame that horse that his instructor appointed him to tame but he still failed on subduing that dumb horse while his younger brother was able to tame it within just a day.

Kai Sun gritted his teeth as he remembered again that scheming younger brother of his.

Someone poked the gossip king's forehead back to reality as the carriage already stopped infront of a very huge mansion. The mansion was two times bigger than the Yu household's mansion which meant that the governor was truly a rich individual.

"I can lead you towards my father's office."

Instead of the ȧssigned servant who was about to lead the guests towards the governor's office, the young missus stealthily ȧssumed that role as an escort. She wanted to impress the clueless silver haired young man.

Chun continued to play with the small white bird while they were being led to their destination.

Together with her students, the silver haired youth was about to take down another eye-opening case.

-------------

The door opened and Chun and her party went in. Inside of the office, a man with a military clean cut wearing a neatly arranged suit greeted their view. He exuded an ascetic aura as he didn't lift up his head while the silver haired young man and her students entered the room after the young missus' personal maid opened the double doors for them.

The man with an austere manner was Gani Akira, he was a thirty-four years old governor with three offspring, his oldest were twins, Antem and Artem while his youngest was his only precious daughter Chi. The wife of the man was Chana Sonaya-Akira who was the seventh princess of the Slatercort King. Therefore, the beautiful young missus was a half demi-human as her mother came from the kingdom of demi-humans.

The silver haired young man wasn't interested with the appearance of the young missus but the first thing she noticed when Chi approached her was the tri-colors of her eyes as one looked closely. It was a combination of violet, pink and pale red while it appeared to be pink when one didn't examine it. Due to her saving the young missus, she got a glimpsed of her unique eyes when they had a close proximity.

Chi was the only one who had this tri-colored eyes in the family as her older brothers had pink-red colored eyes while her father was pale red and her mother was a mixed violet and pink. Though the Akira family was composed of uniquely colored eyes, based on the rankings of Special Eyes series of the World Top Trends, they were ranked third while the Shuho household was ranked second and the Datturi household ranked first.

Noticing a group of people's presence, Gani looked up from his paperwork. His pale red ones stared at the blue-green eyes of the silver haired young man. They battled through their stares as no one wanted to back off from it. After a minute, the governor was the first one to divert his gaze as he chuckled humorlessly.

"You may sit," he said with blandness in his tone as he stood from his leather chair.

He took a file from his right drawer and walked to the waiting guests from the other side of the room.

The governor with no greetings went directly to the case. He handed to the silver haired young man the brown folder that he was holding as Chun began to read it.

As Chun opened it, it was a statistical report of the Chaser's movement for the past two months when he started targetting young beautiful ladies. The Ferto Mari Academia was the one that got most implicated by his acts as the last one that he killed was Gia who was a rising actress claimed to be the next Film Empress by the masses. The academy's precious gem got easily taken out by the Chaser that made them to request for the governor to investigate this case more seriously and they were the ones to suggest for the Harconia Institute's ȧssistance as the institute was hailed to have a promising investigation department who solved the secret murders of the Yu family household.

Gani was at first doubtful about the young people of the said investigation team of the school but when his friend Yu Luo, the head patriarch of the Yu household with shining eyes narrated about the feats of the team, he got curious to them and tried requesting the Harconia Institute for the Minds.

And as he could see, they were truly young but he sensed that the youngest person of this group was the wisest of them all. The silver haired young man that he had a stare off, previously had this vibe that he shouldn't trifled with despite her lazy look. Even her students were talents as well due to the keen observation of the governor, he labelled Chun's group as a reliable detectives. He curiosly took a look at the strange small white bird on Chun's left shoulder but he didn't say anything about it. He treated it as pet of the youth.

While still in reading, Chun got to the part where the Chaser was somehow mistaken a male student as a female due to his enchanting beauty that he almost killed him but when he noticed that he was a boy, he let him go. The male student survived and was able to described the Chaser's appearance. The Chaser was a man who was wrapped in bandages all over his face and arms while wearing a dark clothing covered in black cloak.

Chun was piqued to this part as she was amused about this killer. He had a weird taste. Finished to her reading, she looked towards the silent observing governor as she stated.

"I want to meet this Mirai student."

Gani agreed to it as he gestured Lai to call the person.

The young missus who had no idea to what they were talking, wanted to join with their conversation with eager as she wanted to impress her white prince but hearing the name Mirai, she gritted her teeth. This Mirai person was the famous 'trap' of their academy, he enchanted both genders there with his androgynous beauty that the young missus wanted her white prince to avoid that person.

Because of impatience, she interrupted. "Chun, you can't meet that person!"

She blurted out that made her father frowned. His precious daughter never interfered on his matters even in his business dealings but what was she doing at this moment?

The silver haired young man with her lazy look asked with hidden mirth in her eyes, "Why?"

The sudden question made Chi's reason to halt due to feeling the intense gazes of the people around even her white prince was intently staring at her, waiting for her reply.

She admitted that her heart missed a beat when the blue-green eyes of the silver haired young man turned to her. It was so alluring.

"B-because… I want to!" Chi stuttered as she replied with her unsensible reason.

The governor's looks turned more grim from her daughter's reply as he looked at a servant by the side, gesturing for her to lead the young missus back to her room.

"Young mistress, you must be tired from the journey. You should rest at your room," the maid politely said to Chi while the young missus creased her brows to the statement of the maid.

"Huh? I'm not tired!" Her disobedience gave the governor a headache as he spoke with sterness.

"Chi, please go to your room."

The bland tone of her father woke her up from her fantasies as she couldn't argue from the grim look of her father.

But she couldn't let that Mirai meet her white prince.

'What to do? What to do?'

"Chi."

The stern voice of warning made her squeak out an agreement as she got up from her seat with an aggrieved expression. The door slammed shut as the young missus went out with the maid.
