Kiso Star was infuriated of the smug expression that the silver haired youth sent him as he suddenly interrupted the headmaster.

Chun wasn't surprised by this kind of development as she already predicted this. But despite that, she tend to avoid a challenge from anyone, though it was inevitable to refuse this.

'Well, there won't be any event other than the infiltration of the demons. This challenge will not happen.'

"Headmaster Spinther, it may be rude to interrupt you but I want you to be a witness of my challenge to Instructor Chun."

The instructors were surprised to the sudden challenge of the reputed Kiso to the newbie who was entitled White Prince by most of the students. This was obviously bullying a junior but they had no objections to it as they wanted to see the capabilities of the other, if she was truly suited as a teacher in Harconia Institute.

The headmaster was about to say something as he glanced at the calm youth but the silver haired young man spoke first, "I accept."

Their voices erupted around the gathering hall as they were more stunned at the reckless decision of the other. She was confident with herself, so confident that it might teacher her a lesson.

That were their thoughts as they looked as the calm yet overly confident person.

"Then I'll gladly be your witness on this challenge. The same rules will apply when challenging a fellow teacher. Once the challenged party accepted, there will be no backing out as forfeiting during the challenge will result to a win by the opposing party. At same time, the challenger shall not forfeit to his/her challenge as he/she will be admitting defeat if that case will be suffice. Lastly, this fight is only determining ones' ability, no fatal injuries shall be inflicted. The winner will only be ascertain if the opposing party will admit defeat or cannot continue anymore."

The silver haired young man understood the rules very well and she had known this already because the headmaster had briefed them about this lengty rule from the past.

After the meeting and the announcement of Headmaster Spinther about the new contents of the tournament, the other instructors who weren't idle didn't stay for any longer as they departed but there were some that wanted to see an interesting show.

The silver haired young man walked to the double doors as she would be dealing with another matter but the star teacher blocked her path with his lackeys beside him, antagonizing the newbie. The headmaster, Quin and Rin left first as they would be finalizing the preparation of the upcoming tournament which they weren't able to rescue Chun from this situation.

Chun smiled in a flippant manner that caused a bulging vein to pop out in the temple of his head. Kiso felt anger from getting disrespected by this person.

"Senior Star, what can I do for you?" There was mirth in the eyes of the silver haired youth as she found it funny that Kiso was flaming in anger by just her small deliberate taunting.

'Such a hot tempered person.'

"Looking brave are we? I may be lenient to allow you to refuse my challenge but I did not thought that you would accept this without thinking twice," Kiso stated as he looked at the other from head to toe, he even used his qi to sense the cultivation level of the other which surprised him as the other was just at the Median realm Nascent stage.

He was three times higher than this silver haired young man who only had her face as an ȧsset. Lacking a tier to fight him equally, Kiso's ego increased as he felt superiority from this 'vase' person.

"You only know how to smile? Hehe. That face of yours will not escape the attacks of our great star teacher Kiso!" The lackey beside the star teacher who had a name Huan Bai, boasted as he indignantly stared at the pretty 'boy'. Huan Bai was a student of Kiso.

"Yes! But you will be more delectable if you just forfeit." The lecherous stare of the woman who was another lackey and student of the star teacher, licked her lips as she continued to travel her debauch eyes on the body of Chun. Su Ji was a known play girl who loved to play younger boys in bed. They heard that she was already a hundred years old aunt but retain her youthful look due to her higher cultivation level.

Chun ignored the lecherous woman as she said, "Move. You're blocking my way."

It was enough for playing nice.

Hearing the cold remark of the silver haired young man, Kiso narrowed his eyes as he moved from the path. Stunned by the obedient behavior of their teacher, Huan Bai and Su Ji looked at each other and curiously stare at the star teacher.

It was odd for Kiso to not argue or start a ruckus.

Chun with her eye-smile as she was amused to the star teacher, left.

"Teacher! Why did you let that brat go away?" Huan Bai persistently asked.

"Hehe… I have a plan for that brat. Let's just allow him to be at ease these days as he will not be able to participate in my challenge."

As they heard that, an evil smile simultaneously appeared on their faces. The three thought that they were the wolves attacking a sheep but they didn't know that silver haired young man was a wolf in a sheep's clothing, another level of predator that they shouldn't had play with.

A schemer would be always a schemer.

-----

The silver haired young man ran across the empty hallway as she was locating the hidden passage towards the core of the institute.

Chun recollected her memory and immediately spotted a familiar runic symbols.

"Hear him and you'll be touch. Touch him and you'll melt."

'This was it!" The silver haired young man thought as she didn't need the help of Titus anymore in order to read this encrypted message.

She read it aloud as she distanced herself from the shaking of the wall. A small passage appeared and Chun took this a chance to go inside.

The small passage closed at the same time as both of her feet touched the ground of the dimly lit tunnel.

"Art, are you there?"

"Yes, young lord."

The monotone voice came from corner as a shadow of a lone man emerged from it. The butler saluted at his young master while awaiting for orders.

Suddenly she recalled a scene…

For an hour of travelling by foot, Chun was about to collapse. She truly can't handle long walking as she was in person, lazy. Exertion of energy was too much for her.

"You're already giving up now? You'll be killed by those martial practitioners and even the guardian."

She heard what the deity stated and she looked towards the end of the tunnel passage using the qi energy around her to zoom her vision.

Two martial practitioners were guarding a cell door.

...

Chun remembered that beyond this tunnel were two Median Realm martial practitioners who were guarding a certain door that needed an input of a familiar aura of only the authorized person.

She smirked as she neared the wall. Injecting a small amount of divine energy, the detecting runes that were made for intruders were easily disabled.

Art didn't want to ask the secrets of his young master as he wanted for the youth to open up herself to him and as a butler, he should be not meddlesome to Chun's private affairs.

"Let's go, Art!"

----

They successfully knocked the two guarding martial practitioners as Chun inputted her divine energy in order to unlock the door.

By instincts, Chun recalled another scene as she opened the door.

She took a pair of gloves from her spatial storage and wore it. She then gripped the handle with her gloved hands and opened the cell door.

With a short walk, Chun stopped infront of another cell door. Inside of it was calling her, her instincts was telling her to open it and get close to it.

The door has a pressure stone on it, only the familiar aura of qi energy of the individual who was imprinted on it can open the door.

"I know the aura of that man who you had a deal with those amemodites," Titus suddenly offered a help.

"Why are you being so helpful right now?" Chun asked with curiosity.

"I want to see a show."

The silver haired youth wanted to ask the deity what did he meant by that but she was cut off by Titus' instructions.

"Take off your glove on your right hand and put it infront the pressure stone, I'll do the channeling of qi energy."

Chun followed the deity's direction and a strand of energy that was coming from her body went to the pressure stone through her hands.

The pressure stone changed into color red and into yellow until a clicking sound could be heard from it.

She then entered through the door and saw a broken piece that was floating in the middle of the chamber room. It shone brilliantly as it was being powered by the amemodites.

This was the core. The core of Harconia Institute was her first fragment.

...…

As she opened the door, it was not she had expected. Truly different from the recalled memory.
