"Kit Witara committed suicide."

Chun was disturbed by this information.

Where did she got it wrong? Before she left the island, Kit Witara was still fine. Luke and him was more closer than ever. Then what happened that made Kit to commit suicide?

The silver haired young man almost cursed her naivety when she suddenly realized the most crucial piece that had been missing in the case of Kit. Chun narrowed her eyes as she remembered their last meeting in the past.

Chun had been promiscuous with her deductions but she had never thought that the real culprit was very smart to escape her scope of suspicion.

----

Vanette Island City.

Ferto Mari Academia.

Student Council Committee.

A youth with clean cut jet-black hair, chiseled jaw and a penetrating black eyes that could easily see through anything, smiled while playing a translucent ball on his palm. Throwing it up and down as he observed the glinting ball below the shine of a setting sun.

"A new beginning shall begin."

He whispered while looking at the glinting ball. He was seated on the comfortable chair as a knock from the door woke him up from his ordeal.

"President, may I come in?"

"Come in."

A cold voice sounded from the other side as the female student who was wearing a red arm band, fixed her uniform. She heard that the mysterious Student Council President was a clean-freak.

She pushed the door and the first thing that caught her attention was the elegant name plaque on the desk of the president.

'Mr. President.'

It never was the real name of the president.

"You are the head of the Disciplinary Committee?" The cold face president asked as he continued to look at the crystal ball as if it was the only thing that interested him.

"Y-yes, President. You can call me Denise Rori."

Denise felt awkward from seeing the mysterious president face to face as it was rare for him to reveal himself to the student body and even the student council committee members, only the vice president had known him.

The female student discovered that the president was eccentric as the aura surrounding him was strange.

Suddenly, he stared directly at the wandering eyes of the girl as he smiled, "You can call me Luke. Luke Gray."

Denise was surprised to know that the heir of the formidable Gray household was the mysterious Student Council President. It was rumored that he was never into the power struggle of the family and even declined the position as the president of the student body but why was he...?

The cold expression morphed into a wicked smirk as he asked, "Is Kit Witara confirmed dead?"

It snapped off Denise from her daze due to the unexpected revelation.

"Yes, President."

Though, the President allowed her to call him on his name but Denise didn't dared to as she knew that it was just a form of formality of the President.

'ke. - KW'

-----

The quiet Gray household suddenly took the matter on their hands and it made Chun a bit curious. It's known that, without a heavy exchange, the Gray's would not intervene on this kind of situations, no persuasion could moved them but what did Luke exchanged for it?

"It's nothing. Just managing the business and so," Luke shrugged off as he replied to the silver haired young man.

"Oh right! From your silver white hair and strange colored eyes, you're a member of Shuho Household right?" The young man suddenly asked.

"Yes. I'm Chun Shuho and you know of my family?" Chun with curiosity uttered.

"Kind of. The head household master of Shuho household and my father were close friends and business partners," Luke explained and left after he bid goodbye to Chun.

The silver haired young man went away, too. Luke suddenly stopped on his feet and read again the crumpled piece of paper from his uniform's blazer pocket.

It says, 'If something happens to me, you know what to do. No matter what you decided to do, I won't blame you. Live well, Luke. - KW'

"Fool," Luke with an indifferent face, whispered as he crumpled again the paper.

Chun recalled that Luke had a darkened face before she confronted him but he immediately hide it away when they conversed.

It was a mistake to trust the false story that Luke had told them.

The silver young man was annoyed, mad and remorseful on what happened. Despite her efforts, there were some things that couldn't be changed.

----

The butler noticed his young master's gray atmosphere around as she was so down since he came back.

Art was delayed on coming back to the silver haired youth's side as those crazy female humans were barricading his way. He couldn't just disappear infront of them as it would reveal his ability as a demon. Even the seven students of Chun were heartless for leaving him alone to fend off himself.

Kai Sun and the others thought that it was their revenge for making them stand in an extended hour under the beating heat of the sun and making them memorized a motto, repeatedly which they heard that it was for the soldiers.

Art neared the looking sad and lonely silver haired youth on her bed as she was silently staring the blackness of the outside through the window.

The butler sighed as he went to the said window and covered it with the curtain. Still, Chun was in a daze while staring into nothing.

"Young lord, why are you sad?"

The gentle voice of the butler sounded near the ear of the dazed young master as she turned towards the source.

At first, Chun was mad from being trick and the tragedy that she wasn't able to prevent. But it became into sadness as she realized the poor life of Kit and being played by his closest friend was very heartbreaking. His ending was a sad one.

The sudden closeness of their face turned Chun's face beet red as she immediately covered her face and turned away from the clueless butler.

Her down atmosphere instantly morphed into being flustered as it was odd for Art to suddenly initiate this kind of move.

"Young lord, if you want comfort. I'm here to hug you?"

Art was hesitant to his suggestion as he had no experience on comforting demons even humans.

What got to him that his mouth almost spilled the beans. The butler still maintained his open arms as he waited for the respond of the shy silver haired young man as she was covering her reddened face. As Art had already started his suggestion, he should follow through the end.

He was known to be cold and ruthless in the Demon Kingdom, and being a butler, he never got to do this when it came to the mischievous young master as Chun wasn't usually like this and if she was sad, she would just keep it on her own. But at this moment, Art felt obliged to comfort the silver haired young man.

Art was beside her for the past years and they treated each other as business partners or acquaintances but never been this close.

How did they got to this?

Although, it was not good to develop feelings for her butler, Chun was still relieved when knowing that their relationship had progressed.

She laughed at the awkward posture of the butler as her reddened face was not due to her shyness anymore but it was because of her laughter.

Art scratched his nape as he saw that the silver haired young man laughed at his offer. He was about to put away his open arms when suddenly Chun fell to his embrace.

Chun secretly smiled as she hugged her precious butler. This was her first time of being intimate with the other. She buried her face to Art's ċhėst as the butler was stunned from the warmth that his young master brought.

The silver haired young man enjoyed the scent of rose tea and mint on the butler as it calmed her nerve. And being in the arms of her butler was very comforting, she wished that this would last forever.

Art gently patted the back of Chun as he silently allowed the other to hug him.

Even without soothing words, someone could be comforted through actions.
