Chapter 128 - 121

Regardless of the other's thoughts, the silver haired young man wasn't in a hurry to finish the simulation game as she had to do something first.

The kimono girl who was suddenly dragged by the mischievous fox was oblivious to where they were going. Chun had already found an interesting thing in this simulated island. Knowing that the players wouldn't go further inside the island's forest as they had gathered their needed materials from the outer parts of it and they wouldn't want to waste time, the earlier they get that emergency protective chip, the safer they would be.

But somehow the mischievous fox discovered a delightful object in the inner parts of the forest, it was due to her divine perception that enabled her to sense it.

And bringing the girl was just due to her impulse yet she had another motive.

"Wait. I sense something coming," Yu In Na did not let down her guard as her instincts told her to be alert.

The kimono girl didn't heard any noise in their steps but she knew that the culprit arrived.

No. It was suppposed to be culprits as their presence were in numbers. If she would sense them using her qi perception then they would be around ten. Guessing from their hunting formation, they had been already doing this as a group. A beast that were attacking in groups, aren't they like a pack of wolves?

Yu In Na stayed watchful as she waited for them to attack and she would see first what beast they were. As they were in the simulation area then it wouldn't be surprising to see unfamiliar creatures. That was the thrilling part of playing in a survival setting in a simulation as the generated area from another dimension could be modified by the engineers but the living creatures that were already part of that place couldn't be touch due to the limits of its modification but before a simulation could be launch, it would first undergo testing and exploration in order to determine the level of difficulty.

But the unfair part of this, it would depend to the management for its release of information to the players. And currently, what the silver haired young man with her fellow players had been experiencing was to figure the things in this island.

A huge beast jumped out from the bushes as it stared carefully at the kimono girl who was in a fighting stance. They were observing each others' movements. The beast had a characteristic of a wolf but its black irises were odd, its teeth were longer as it stuck ofrom its mouth and their legs were much larger for their own body. They were a mutated wolf if not for Chun knowing what kind of species were they.

It was called Pryopost, a carnivore that couldn't be satified with just eating nothing in a day. Though, beast couldn't die without eating for days as they were supplemented with the world energy around but Pryopost weren't like this and they tend to hunt in groups. Their huge stature was really scary as they stood five feet tall which was a normal Pryopost size as their Alphas were larger than that.

The silver haired young man was standing on a tree branch as she was spectating at the fight scene. She was amused to witness that the fragile-looking short haired girl wasn't that weak at all as she singlehandedly took care of that massive beast who was taller than her, with three strikes of her palm while using a movement technique.

Her movements were like a snake as she would accurately and smoothly hit the vital points of the beast. It immediately ended their farce yet the kimono girl didn't still let down her guard as she gesture for the hiding beasts to attack her.

The observing silver haired young man was amazed by her offense as she didn't use her ability, she executed those clean hits with pure physical strength.

Looking at their paralyzed brother on the ground, helplessly weeping, they roared as they dashed in groups. The Pryopost valued their kinds which meant that they wanted to avenge their defeated brother.

Three of them attack infront as the others surrounded Yu In Na. She was so concentrated in her battle that she didn't notice the sly fox was only relaxing on a tree branch.

Despite that she was carrying that huge bag on her back, her movements weren't even restricted by it as the beasts couldn't land a hit on her.

They truly had underestimated their opponent as earlier, they agreed to only use brute strength to defeat that fragile human girl but they were surprised to see that small body contained much fighting power as she used an unfamiliar technique, and they wanted their prey to not turn into ashes.

Using their own language to communicate in their beast form, the Alpha ordered his group to take down that girl no matter what and that means…

Yet strangely, they stepped back as one of the Pryopost who had a brown fur faced her as it started to open its strong jaws while the other followed suit.

She sensed something bad from it as she grasped her bag. At the same time, the spectating silver haired young man looked anticipatingly at the outcome.

What would she do?

Simultaneously, black red scorching fire came out from their mouth as they directed it to the kimono girl. The big flame engulfed her as the group of Pryopost was satified witht their work despite not able to eat that delicious yet difficult food.

The smokes didn't disperse yet, as they heard a chuckle coming from a nearby tree. The beasts didn't expect that there was a spectator and even their Alpha was surprised as well. But before they could deal on the fox mask young man, they heard a strumming of an instrument as it produced a soft melody.

It came from the dispersing smokes as it revealed a short haired girl, sitting down on the ground in a dogeza with a calm face while she strummed on her three-string lute. It was a traditional shamisen.

Any living beings that could hear the Death Strum would shake in fear as every note it produces invoked their most deepest and darkest fear which made them experienced death in that certain situation.

The unguarded Pryoposts were no exemptions as they fell down one by one and writhed in pain. Slowly, they transformed back to their vulnerable form that Yu In Na didn't expect to see.

She felt her cheeks burned while she involuntarily stopped her strumming and looked away from the writhing nȧkėd beings in human form on the ground.

Yu In Na stared in shock to the standing silver haired young man who was smirking at her as she forgot her earlier embarrasment. She couldn't believe that someone who heard her Death Strum was able to resist and unaffected by its terrrifying effect as the victim would be pulled to a certain degree of madness like the Pryoposts there.

'He must be very powerful!'

"How did you do it?" The kimono girl asked in amazement but the silver haired young man was unresponsive to her as Chun looked at her in question.

As she remembered something, the mischievous fox removed her earblocks as she smiled at the amazed short haired girl but suddenly her surprise went back to uninterest while she put back her shamisen inside its bag.

She silently comforted herself as to not expect anything from this unreliable young man.

Chun who was being cursed was praising herself due to her thought up plan. In fact, she wasn't affected by Yu In Na's ability yet she couldn't reveal that as she was in disguised and possessing a man's body that she needed to return to the real owner which she had no idea where was Zero other than in that black space connected to her silver box which was currently in Sereign continent, miles away and oceans apart.

So tell her, how could she reveal herself if she was still figuring out things?

"Umm… Silver? Are you listening?"

The voice of the kimono girl interrupted her monologue as she finally noticed the poor beaten up men with clothes on, huddled in a corner while a fully-clothed pristine young man was standing infront of her, smiling in greeting.
