Chapter 140 - 133

Amper and her group wasn't aware about the great danger that they were about to encounter as they were occupied of figuring out the claw marks and the puzzle within this forest.

Only the beast who was targeting them was silently following them with measured steps, it was finding an opportunity to strike them off-guard. This three-clawed beast was a type to be skilled in agility and intelligence.

Although, beasts living in Baligroot forest was more of in a higher level as they have their own consciousness to decide onto things and act humanlike. It was rare for a beast to target specific Charmers even daring to leave clues for them to not go to a wrong path.

The second miss had no idea that she and her group was being led on the noose by a certain beast. Amper had been feeling that they were strangely proceeding smoothly, other than encountering that claw marks, there wasn't any obstacles on their way.

Something was off. Even her companions felt it as well.

Daia and her younger brother Daeil, and the Charmer who was also their healer was Ivory. They all came from renowned noble households with clean image as the second miss was picky when it came to having subordinates.

Daia was a wood type Charmer, her younger brother was a wind type and Ivory was a water type while Amper was a water type Charmer also but more on the sub-type ability which was ice. It was matched with her deep-layered ice cold aura that she would usually emit, daring people to not come near her. Only these three was used to her cold exterior as they had known each other since their childhood days.

Ironically, they couldn't be called childhood friends as they didn't bonded with each other during their childhood days due to their contradictory personalities that made them to be apart from each other, Daia was a blabber-mouth yet suddenly she would get serious and recklessly do things that she would later regret, and Daeil would be the one responsible to control his older sister's actions as he was the silent and calm type of a person, on the other hand, the healer was more of a closed off person, having a world of her own and would only talk when she needed to or she was asked to.

They never got to be close during their childhood but they unexpectedly got together in a group. The only reason for it was the second miss.

"Amper! Amper! Do feel that there is something strange about this?!" Daia exclaimed as she spread her arms.

The second miss stopped as she acknowledged the younger boy's affirmation.

Daeil didn't delay as he neared to where he had left a trace and he picked up the handwoven handkerchief. It was a soft cottoned red handkerchief which was made by Old Madam of their household and was gifted to him during his ȧduŀthood ceremony.

Immediately, Daia recognized it as she took it from the younger boy while she asked him, "Why was it here?"

The older sister knew that Daiel treasured this piece of handwoven as it came from their grandmother.

Daiel rolled his eyes from his older sister's reaction as he took it back from the other and turned to Amper as he explained.

"If I'm not mistaken, the claw marks is still here." He went to a tree that they saw earlier with three-clawed marks.

Immediately, the second miss understood what he was pertaining as she ordered them to halt and stay on this spot as night was approaching. It wasn't good to tire themselves out as they would be encountering an enemy who trapped them in some kind of spell.

Charmers was prominent in this world that the silver haired young man was ȧssigned to do her task but this Charmers had no idea what were formation arrays were as it didn't exist to them, even the beast who used this spell didn't call it an array but an illusion ability, though it has a same trait with the formation arrays as this techniques relied on their core as a foundation of the spell.

Speaking of the silver haired young man.

The silver haired young man was lucky that Feng Cui didn't recognize her. But obviously, the other wouldn't truly recognized this forgotten ninth prince as it had been fifteen years since the original ninth prince lived in the Snow Palace.

But Chun felt something odd about their age, she was nineteen while looking the eighth prince appearance and knowing that this was his test to joining Charm Excellence, then he would be atleast in his fifteen's yet why would she be older than this so-called older brother of hers?

Unconsciously, the silver haired young man turned to where the hiding snobbish system was. Chun had long known where was Xuan was hiding as she stepped on this forest but she pretended to be clueless, but curiosity left her flustered.

The invisible snobbish system was aiming to be a total bystander since then but was a bit surprised to be stared at the silver haired young man. Luckily, only the host could see him.

Xuan just shrugged at the other as he waved of his hand in dismissal.

Chun decided to deal with this human system later as she was busy with this group of Charmers.

"Pal, you may want to step out of our business." A purple haired youth stated in a threatening manner while cradling his broken left arm.

The eigth prince was the only one who had been silent as the mob started to insult her.

Chun just rolled her eyes inwardly as she remembered that this eigth prince was the so-called benevolent and kind person but why was he pretending to be blind when his people started to molest this girl.

The silver haired young man was travelling through the trees as she used her wind ability to glide in order to hasten her search for the second miss of the Morai Household but she happened to stumble upon a hideous scene.

The silver haired young man saw red when she witnessed that thay they started to tear the measly clothes of the poor girl.

Leika was fortunate that a kindhearted person saved her from getting rȧpė.

Awhile ago, she was crying in despair as their dirty hands was touching her. She had no idea how did she offended these savage nobles but it might be due to her country bumpkin upbringing that she didn't fight back with them as she was scared with their threats.

But now, she was hiding behind this silver haired young man who appeared out of nowhere and thrashed these bastards.

The group of the eight prince earned injuries from getting attack by Chun while they were unaware but they didn't learn from it as they began to threaten the latter.

They knew that they couldn't beat this silver haired young man so they resorted in threatening her in numbers.

There were twelve of them and one of that person.

Chun felt the gripped of the tear-stricken girl on her sleeves as she hide behind her. Chun knew that the other was keeping up to herself in order not to breakdown. Experiencing those dirty things, as a female--- male with a female soul, the silver haired young man wanted to kill this bastards.

Chun noticed this which made her frowned yet she focused her piercing glare to the group of scums.

Although, this people of his molested the girl, Feng Cui didn't join as he watched on sideline but the silver haired young man would deal with him after this.

After a minute of stretching, the twelve people who declared themselves to take care of this lone young man was now grovelling on the ground with swollen crying faces and beaten-up body. Though, Chun didn't kill them but it was still like having a fate of a dead person as the silver haired young man crippled them, disabling them on perceiving their Charms which meant that they had no future in the Charmer's path but they couldn't just vented out here as they knew that their puny life would end here if they angered that demon.

Their only hope was the eighth prince. Immediately, they looked at the other but Feng Cui didn't look at them as if they were air, he was busy observing the handsome silver haired young man who was comforting the young girl as Chun retrieved a shirt and pants for the girl to change into.

"Your highness---." Their crying protests was instantly cut off with the terrifying state of the eighth prince as they were stunned to be directed with this kind of cruel stare.

Feng Cui had been always kind and good to them but it seemed to be that this person had been hiding his true face. They silently blamed themselves for their ignorance as they followed this two-faced person.

"Go away."

The eighth prince simply stated as he sauntered to the direction of the silver haired young man, abandoning them.

Chun who had seen this from the corner of her eyes, smirked in satire as she helped the girl to walk by the bushes so that she could change.
