Chapter 142 - 135

Sensing their gazes, the silver haired young man smiled at them and stated, "It's truly unavoidable for fellow Charmers to encounter this kind of deadly beast."

Everyone looking at the 'deadly' beast: ….

Deadly beast: …. 'Are you being exaggerated?'

Under the silver haired young man's control, the Parodic Wolf was easily subdued and while they were at it. Chun felt hungry from expending effort on finding her specific candidate for conquest and even stumbling on saving a person on the way.

She was eyeing for the Parodic Wolf. Even though its appearance was truly undescribable which even the author couldn't describe accurately in the previous chapter but its meat shouldn't be inedible, right?

The Parodic Wolf who was still stunned by the unexpected development event was full thoughts of doubt.

'Where am I?'

'Who am I'

'What am I?'

It was humiliating to think that its thousand years of cultivation was easily defeated by a foot of this Charmer. The beast was even hesitating if this was a human or a beast hiding in a human form?

The Parodic Wolf wouldn't think that this was a human trained under the revered Nightmare beast of the Concave Forest.

But the beast was immediately snapped out of its dazed when it heard the preposterous sentence of the silver haired young man.

"Can it be eaten?" Chun asked herself yet Amper and her group heard it that made their face pale, drastically.

Simultaneously a reproved in their mouths came out with a howl of the poor beast in disagreement as well. This was the first time for a group of human and a beast to be in sync and agreement.

As a Charmer, one must have an in-depth knowledge regarding about types of beasts and seeing this silver haired young man was in this forest also which meant that this youth was an examinee like them. Then she should have a basic knowledge about edible and inedible stuff and beasts in the Baligroot Forest.

"Mister, you may want to refrain from eating it. Beasts on this forest are all inedible." Daia couldn't help but stepped out, she didn't want to witness a handsome young man die from food poisoning. That would be terrible.

Chun was silent for a moment as if she was deep contemplation and finally, she rescinded. "Alright."

The group of Amper released a sigh of relief but the silver haired young man wasn't finished speaking as she continued.

"Then what are we going to do with this ugly beast?"

The eighth prince who caught up silver haired young man heard this question as he neared the other and saw the ugly creature that Chun had her foot was on.

Feng Cui instantly exclaimed, "Such an ugly beast, you should kill it!"

Even the recently arrived girl jumped in agreement.

It even trembled when it heard the word kill from those newly arrived people.

Chun sensed that the other party was now scared with them as her initial plan was just to intimidate this beast and taught it a lesson about not to run unruly within the forest.

The silver haired young man wasn't cruel to kill a beast by her hand as she treated them equal with humans like her since she was under the tutelage of her teacher who was also a beast, Chun had been forgiving with them.

Looking from this poor Parodic Wolf, the silver haired young man remembered what Ara had to her that Parodic Wolf was one of the near-extinct beasts as their reproduction rate was slow and they were mostly incapable to give birth with several Parodic Wolf pups as they needed a certain climate and place, and a female Parodic Wolf was only limited to one cub.

This difficult situation of a Parodic Wolf made Chun pity it and decided to be more forgiving with them.

"So what do you want to do with it?" The silver haired young man directed her question to the elegant cold faced woman as Chun knew that this person was in charge of their group. Though she pitied the Parodic Wolf, she had no right to decide its end.

Amper slightly appreciated the handsome young man's inquiry as it was right for her to be asked by the latter because her group was the one being attacked by this beast awhile ago.

"Just let it go." Her calm reply made the three Charmers in her group was shocked in surprise.

Only Chun and the two who had just arrived to have maintained a neutral expression. Despite the beast was hideous, the eighth prince thought that it would dirty the silver haired young man's hand if she would kill then letting it go should be good as well.

Chun shrugged and retrieved her foot.

As if the Parodic Wolf received amnesty, it immediately howled in a cry as it escaped, leaving them dust.

Parodic Wolf: ….. 'I will not be brave anymore on playing humans! Maybe, the Tree Spirit guardian was right, he was really protecting us from those cruel humans huhu.'

The silver haired young man took out a handkerchief from her pocket as she wiped the nonexistent dirt in her hands.

Now that the atmosphere was calm, the eighth prince presented himself again to the silver haired young man and even Leika joined as well.

"I'm Amper Morai, an examinee as well. These are my subordinates," the elegant lady was the first to break the silence which made the three who was slowly regaining their senses after the earlier to be bewildered, again.

'Had been the second miss switched out?'

'Am I dreaming?'

'Did something happen?!'

Daia had been the most who had stayed long with the second miss' side so she was the one who greatly knew the other. This left her flustered as she usually witnessed in their city that gentlemen would do anything for Amper's glance and ladies would love to please her to have them in her good books.

Although, the first miss appeared to be superior to the other but it couldn't be denied that she was still an olive branch for them.

Morai household was known for their connections with the Royal Family as their head patriarch was the Left Advisor and it was known that despite the first miss was to be crowned the heir but the second miss was slowly gaining recognition with her achievements as well, having a certain prince to support her from behind.

After the second had taken the initiative, Daia and the others followed suit.

"I'm Daia Levon."

"I'm her younger brother, Daeil Levon."

"Ivory Vindi."

Hearing their names, Chun only confirmed her guessed as she smiled and responded, "I'm Chun, nice to meet you!"

"Morai, Levon and Vindi! You're a member of the great four noble households? Hmm. I'm Feng Cui, the eighth prince and I'm his companion," He humbly stated as he looked at them with his calm expression although he was surprised to see these people.

'Brother have a keen-eye.'

Leika didn't want to be left out also so buŧŧed in, "I'm his companion also, I'm Leika." She offered her hand for a handshake but was about to retrieve it as she almost forgot that noble families disdained this kind of behaviour. They would not like to shake hands with a poor Charmer like her.

But Daeil who had been usually serious suddenly received her hands with no hint of disgust while the youth nodded with seriousness.

The girl almost appreciated his kind gesture but stopped in suspicion when she felt that her hand was tightly grasped by the youth and couldn't be removed.

Daia knew her younger brother's strange action as she smiled wryly and silently unclasped the serious youth's grip.

Leika finally sighed when her hand was able to breathe again.

The silver haired young man heard the two excess baggages' words as she frowned at them. What companion? She remembered that she only travelled alone since the start of the test.

Chun was about to argue with them when the sly green haired young man stated in a calm manner as if the things he was saying was ordinary.

"You need to take responsibility!"

Even Leika joined too, even though she had no idea what was the other was talking to.

"Yes, take responsibility!"

The silver haired young man was rendered speechless due to these people's shamelessness.

But for an outsider's perception.

Amper:…

The three: …. 'Was this a live two-time affair?'
