Chapter 163 - 155

Chun was seated between Wei Xi and Feng Cui so she immediately noticed the sighing eighth prince as he didn't comment at anything. The silver haired young man was curious to his gesture as inquired the other in a whisper, the silver haired young man didn't want to attract the people's concentration to the good show.

"Believe it or not, although the first miss was so favoured by the head and the three stupid older brothers of mine. She never succeeded in cracking the image of her younger sister nor trap her. There power and backings for the next head is in a stalemate."

While hearing that, the silver haired young man frowned as she stated, "Please elaborate."

"If the handing of next head title depended to favorability of Mr. Wei then it will already be given to the first miss with no competition but the Head Patriarch promised his daughters that it would only based on their abilities and capabilities. He will not intervene unless necessary."

"Oh... So there is still fairness here?"

Feng Cui stopped the movements of cutting his food when he heard the question as he slowly answered, "Yes and No."

"?"

"Well, the Head Patriarch knew that the second miss is the most suited as the next head but when remembering about his other daughter... He would hesitate..? I don't know, that's my own opinion."

Chun then remembered the hint that the mission card gave her for her first target. It was about finding worth...

Chun subconsciously looked at the staring young woman at her as the silver haired young man smiled in response. The second miss just gave a faint smile as she immediately ȧssumed her aura of indifference.

"Let's invite Chun to showcase his charm for us to see!" Applause resounded as the silver haired young man who was awakened by the sudden call, creased her brows in confusion while she heard Feng Cui continued...

"I forgot to tell you that, although the younger sister couldn't be schemed but the people around her can be."

The silver haired young man stood up while she looked at the smiling first miss with her calm expression.

'What is she up to?'

A gripped on her sleeve held Chun from going to the front platform as she turned to see the heiress who was looking at her. Wei Xi was telling her to be careful as she nodded in understanding.

The clown--- first miss waited for the silver haired young man to climb up. Chun didn't delay her movements as she avoided to cause trouble for the second miss, Amper brought them here so it would be her responsibility what would they do and it would even impact her image.

Chun decided to play with the first miss' game, so far she didn't do big moves to implicate her younger sister, knowing that the Head Patriarch of the household was here. It would be a disappoint if she would act up.

"Chun, what will you perform for us?"

The musical gentle voice of Emery woke up the silver haired young man from her thoughts as she answered.

"My third spell."

In fact, the first miss was deliberately doing this. Although she admired this handsome young man but the youth was wrong on her decision to side with her younger sister. While giving the silver haired young man an opportunity to showcase her charm to impress this nobles which could be a good way for establishing connections to powerful household yet this was all a disguised for Emery's true scheme.

Emery smiled as she went down from the platform. It could be said that once the silver haired young man performed badly there, it would be over for 'him' and Amper. The second miss' reputation would be tarnished in front of their father, knowing that their father appreciated her younger sister's capabilities, this could lessen his hesitation.

The first miss might be known as the overshadowing the second miss but they didn't know that it was all just in the exterior as the Head Patriarch had his own way of perceiving things.

Chun closed her eyes as she concentrated with her charm. It was fortunate that she had precise control of her charm aura as she saw through her charm eyes the moving five color of the charms around. While in close eyes, she performed vague hand seals in fast motion that created overlapping afterimages of her hands.

"That..." The flirting third prince gasped as he looked at the amazing hand seals. Though he had never seen this kind of hand seals.

"It had three form seals...no five form seals, two motion seals …" He continued to blabber the series combination of the seals, even though the silver haired young man's hands were fast enough for the nȧkėd eyes but for a expert like the third prince, it was just an easy task to see it.

However, the third prince was more astounded when he could understand the last quick succession of seals, it was unclear for him.

With shining eyes while looking at the close-eyed silver haired young man, 'Then it means that this person...'

The third prince widened his eyes in surprise which the silent fourth prince noticed. Even him and the two princesses stopped what they were doing as they were more focused at the dazzling scene in front of them.

'Now it is finished.' Chun thought as she released her third charm spell using the air, Orion's Belt.

The third spell, Orion's Belt that she created was a passive skill and it could be only useful on distractions and directions. And additionally, this spell was inspired with the three stars that she had read in those books back in Shuho household.

Three glinting dots appeared in the center as it formed connected lines with each other then whirling wind formed around it as this blinking dots slowly being pulled by the connected lines to each other, finally it collided and silent explosion erupted as it was the caused of the convergence of the three glinting dots, the whole garden was covered with blinding light as even the crowd could only closed their eyes or cover their eyes with their hand to block the light. The light vanished and scents of lily and jasmine scattered in the air.

It calmed the minds of the people that inhaled it. Even the Head Patriarch who was enduring his innate illness, was finally able to feel calm and serenity from the atmosphere. His aching head seemed to fade away.

Chun bowed after her performance as she went down to get back with her food. She touched the heating mission card in her pocket as she sighed in relief.

Somehow her troubles for perfecting this spell and having an opportunity to use it here was coincidentally had paid off as she sensed that the progress bar for Amper went up.

The people was still in daze of the magnificent scene as they didn't notice the escape of the silver haired young man and the most stunned was Emery.

She was sure that she had put a charm energy oppressor around the platform as she was confident that Chun would fail, 'he' would be unable to sense any charm elements but …

'How?'

The first miss glanced at the silver haired young man as she calmed herself and rounded up the atmosphere. She smiled as she praised the first year top ranker, while she was amused in discovering something unexpected.

As the crowd went back to their spirits as they clapped for the performance and looked at Chun with praise and acknowledgement. Opposite to this was the seemed to be in a strange atmosphere table of the Royal Family, they had their own thoughts while they were in luck to be able to attend this event.

They thought that it would be a hassle to go on this kind of small event but they didn't think that they would stumble something interesting. The four of them were fortunate. The first princess quietly drank her tea while she enjoyed the relaxing scent.

The silver haired young man almost choked on her food when the eighth prince who started to act out of character suddenly patted heavily on her back as he was very amazed and surprised at Chun's performance.

"Truly breathtaking… truly breathtaking!" She continued to pat.

Even Leika who was beside the eighth prince, stretched her hands and started to pick food for the silver haired young man.

"Eat more... You are amazing!"

Chun once again felt the heating up mission card as she glanced at the smiling second miss. Though, Chun got her progress but she knew that it wasn't still finish. She needed to act for the final step which that 'worth' would involved.
