Chapter 176 - 168

The silver haired young man almost blew up at the snobbish system after the incident of her royal father. She was so clueless about it which she was put into this tight situation.

Currently, she was inside an exquisite carriage which was plain on its exterior but inside no one could deny that it was very extravagant. Though, Chun had a hunch why His Majesty didn't use his royal carriage which explained about his simple clothing. The Supreme Ruler had no intentions to announce his presence her in Charm Excellence.

Somehow the Principal knew about it which he decided the Alliance to escort the Supreme Ruler while he was here. It would be inconspicuous if he ordered the Guards to it so the task had fallen to the former.

It meant that the job of securing the Concave Forest had fallen to the Guards. Although the Supreme Ruler's sudden arrival was unforeseen but it wouldn't affect the preparation for the annual competition of the school, and it would be a good chance if His Majesty would stay until the event.

Chun was behaving herself in front of the unreadable Supreme Ruler, she was flustered until now by the current happenings. The seemed to be faceless and cold-hearted almighty king insisted to accompany him in his carriage while her older brothers; the second prince the eighth prince were another carriage trailing behind them.

At first, when Feng Cui was stunned that his royal father had shown up unannounced, he already thought that something must be up and he was more surprised that he didn't care to hide his visage in front of others. Even the second prince was shocked as well yet suspicious at their royal father's odd behavior. Although the eighth prince rarely saw the silhouette of the Supreme Ruler and it would be always his masked face, it was different for the first prince and the second prince. As the most closer to the next in line of the throne. The two of them were closely taught by their father.

But this wasn't about getting favour from the latter as all of them- royal children were treated equally other than the ninth prince who seemed to be 'abandoned' in the Snow Palace.

Other than having the moniker of a Faceless King due to his always masked face, he also had another nickname - the Eccentric Monarch.

It was because of his mysteriousness and undecipherable methods of approach. The way he ruled and managed the whole land of Terapika was truly a mystery. He didn't shed blood when ruling as the corrupt officials would just about to make a move but they were slower compared to His Majesty.

He was like an omniscient being that had eyes at everything which those officials didn't dare to be unruly. Even the princes who fought for the throne were treading carefully with their steps but although, they had backings and loyal people by their side to ȧssist them for the throne. They would never know when the Supreme Ruler himself would rescind the position as it could be seen their royal father was still full of vigor and had a strong hold with the throne.

They could stay quiet and bid their time.

But back to the main point, the silver haired young man immediately caught the attention of the second prince not only because of her abilities but it was because the familiarity and resemblance that Chun had with the Supreme Ruler. If one didn't know that Chun was the ninth prince then they would think that the Supreme Ruler had created a younger version of himself because of boredom.

That's why when the Alliance was called by the Principal and tasked to escort the latter. Feng Zi knew that something was up, his sudden visit was up to no good. Though their royal father seemed to be eccentric and unreadable but the second prince had a gist of his temperament.

The Supreme Ruler wouldn't just come to a place when he had no motive and he wouldn't come personally if that didn't interest him.

And only one conclusion was drawn up in Feng Zi's mind. He was to hide his ninth brother and protect him from their royal father.

It wasn't a secret that the ninth prince was banished to the Snow Palace due to the other's result. 'He' was a waste if one described it and a trash if one compared it to 'his' royal siblings. But surprisingly, the supposed to be forgotten ninth prince was now admitted at Charm Excellence and had an astounding charm precision with the air charm.

Chun was even approved by the Captain despite 'his' gained ability from the ability simulation.

No matter where one looked at it, their royal father had bad intentions towards the ninth prince after knowing that Chun had 'his' ability.

Inside the carriage of the two princes.

Feng Cui was worrying while he silently cursed the Supreme Ruler in his mind. He wasn't even aware that the silver haired young man had he was fond of was in fact his blood-related sibling and it was his ninth brother at most.

Truly, blood was thicker than water.

Looking to it, he remembered that after the confrontations of the silver haired young man and His Majesty. His second brother barged in and ran to hide Chun from the sight of the Supreme Ruler at his tow were the other Alliance members who were curious at the situation.

Feng Cui immediately stared at the calm-looking second prince who was in deep thought and he shouted, "Second brother, you knew! Why didn't you tell me?!"

The second prince frowned when he was snapped from reality when the annoying voice of the eighth prince rendered his eardrums.

"What are you fussing about? I thought you knew because I always saw you so sticky with our ninth brother."

Feng Cui pursed his lips while looking down, "Do you think I'm so that perceptive?"

"Heh. You said it yourself." There was a hint of schadenfreude in his tone which Feng Cui immediately looked up and saw the smirking Feng Zi.

"Second brother! I wouldn't be the eighth prince if I couldn't beat you up!"

"Then as a caring second brother, I will accommodate you."

Rumbles and shaking were heard from the carriage in tow while the awkward atmosphere was broken by the steady face Supreme Ruler.

"Pardon your older brothers' excitement, they might be so surprised to have you back," his deep voice was laced with hidden warmth while observing at the behaved child in front of him.

'He was still the same cute obedient child that would usually want his attention every now and then.' The Supreme Ruler thought while his heart softened a bit.

'That Nightmare beast didn't fail his expectations despite her further refusal.'

The silver haired young man didn't bother with those gentleness as she grasped the main point. So their royal father thought that she would come back to them obediently? He would be innocent if he thought like that.

She was Chun now, not Feng Hunan.

The Supreme Ruler caught the light in those red scarlet eyes that mirrored his own. He snorted when he recalled that he was very familiar with this.

He remembered 'someone' what he did in this situation. He breaks that 'person'.

'Was he successful? Let's find out.'

Chun scrunched her brows when she sensed an ominous feeling. Her instincts were telling her that this royal father of hers was up to no good.

The Supreme Ruler ȧssumed ignorance as he looked at the cat with threatening claws. He didn't try converse with the glaring silver haired young man while he quietly flicked his hand and offered a basket of strawberries at the other.

Although, Chun was still on-guard while watching suspiciously at the offered fruits but she was still at the mercy of this almighty king and more importantly, she had pressing missions to do so silently obliging was the only choice for now.

She softened her glaring eyes and took a piece of the fruit and bite on it like biting a head of someone off.

The Supreme Ruler who witnessed this scene, chuckled while he decided to wait upon this youngest son of his. He would indulge 'him' for now until they arrived at the Royal Residence.

At the third carriage following the two.

The carriage seemed to be bland and simple on the outside but its inside was big enough to fit five people in Charm Excellence uniform while an armband was on their right arm, it had a soaring letter with symbols around it. It was a designated insignia for a member of the Alliance.

Lemon was frustrated as he couldn't fight with the beasts of the Concave Forest and kept on his rambling of complaints while the others ignored him.

The long black haired young lady was already fine after her neck was healed although it was just a small wound that couldn't threaten her life.

She appeared to be expressionless though her mind was running with unknown thoughts.
