Chapter 20：Raid Finished

As I finished off the scouts the others have just begun their attack on the thieves base. The smoke at the cave entrance started to envelop the cave so the thieves should be running out now.

'Stealth'

Activating stealth I run towards one side of the cave's entrance. The skill stealth gives me a weird feeling, almost as if I can't even feel myself. The surroundings have gotten a little dark but I can still feel everything. I should stay in stealth as much as I can.

Following the sounds of fighting, I walk out of the bushes to see a full on fight with my team of adventurers and the thieves. The thieves don't seem to be strong since there is already a trail of them all over. Releasing stealth I approach Edward.

"Yo. Seems I wasn't needed then, is that all of them?" I say asking him while looking around the area.

"I don't know what to say, it was so easy it was like they never even fought anyone before." Edwards says with a confused gaze as he looks into the smoke-filled cave.

As we talk a surge of overwhelming killing intent floods the area as the sound of branches cracking behind us.

"What did you do to my men!?" a deep voice fills our ears as we all shivers down our spines.

'Damn, so he is one of those huh. I don't think I can see him the same.' I think while looking at him with a disgusted face.

"He is gonna be a problem so I need some help." Edward says as he swings his sword causing the blood that was on it to fly off onto the floor. Edward rushes the thief boss as he swings his sword towards the dagger that was coming his way. Blocking one dagger sparks fly into the air as a second dagger flies past the sword and into Edwards arm as he moved it to block the incoming dagger. Seeing as he has taken damage he backs off to ready himself again.

"I'll help, everyone else clean up the mess." I say seeing that he needs some help and wont be able to do this himself. Readying Lostvayne I run my hand over it as to release the built up power deep within the sword..

'Sacred Treasure Release!'

'Time Stop'

All sounds come to a stop, the smell of blood that was radiating from all around me clears as if it wasn't even there, and the blood that was running out of the wound on Edwards arm freezes in place. Activating time stop with the physical clones I send them to close in on him from all directions as I run to attack him from behind. As I reach the thief boss Dez, I swing my sword at his throat as I have all the clones attack vital points, tendons in the back of the legs, kidneys in the stomach, and the nape of the neck. Feeling the sword slip through all targeted areas I have all clones come back before time starts again.

[Time Stop has deactivated.]

As time starts flowing again all clones merge with me and the thief boss falls down the same time that blood bursts out of his wounds.

As Edward looks at me in surprise I walk up to the Thief Boss since I didn't get a system notification it means he is still alive. As I approach him I hear him muttering but it's in an unrecognizable language and he brings out a dark purple orb.

"Since you destroyed what I've spent years on making then I will destroy you." he says as he crushes the orb in his hands. Upon crushing the orb it releases a dark purple smoke that covers his entire body.

Receiving a warning sign from the skill fighting instincts I jump back to safety to the best of my ability. Looking as to where I just was there is an oversized black fist. It seems that he was an idiot an took some type of berserk medicine.

Looking at his status his name, race, titles, and levels are now all unreadable. Some of his stats increased to at least 100, his agility has reached 124 holy shit man.

'Physical Hunt'

'If I didn't have physical hunt this would have been a nightmare for everyone.' as I feel a rush of strength from all my stats rising due to stealing all physical stats of everything near me. At the same time everyone around me falls to the ground without the strength to stand but still look up to spectate the fight. The monster that used to be human falls to the ground struggling to get up and fight back. Swinging my sword I cut off it's arms as blood splatters onto me and the arms fall to the floor. Even though the arms are both cut off it is trying to reconnect itself at a terrifying rate. As I swing to cut off it's legs so it can't rush me it's arms are already reconnected. Feeling that it's arms regenerated the monster tried to stand up only to see its legs disconnected as it falls back onto the floor.

'Ugh. High regeneration enemies are really annoying. System use salamanders ash on lostvayne.'

[Salamander's ash has been applied to the sword 'Lostvayne']

Upon applying salamander's ash to lostvayne I swing towardsthe monsters head and cleave it cleanly in half.
