[Yang Menghuo POV]

Madam Hao Yui left Yang Menghuo's room as soon as possible. She was too scared because this handsome young man definitely had few screws loose. Yang Menghuo chuckled as he saw the middle-aged lady ran away like a dog with tails tucked between her legs. 

He knew that intimidating a middle-aged woman like that wasn't exactly the noblest thing to do, but that was the only way for that lady to work under his guidance. He knew that Ying Jie was a strong woman who said that she wanted to marry a rich man, so she didn't need to work. 

But she had never asked for any man's help in her entire life, so Menghuo assumed that Ying Jie said that as a joke. Something to ease her stress, though she seemed to take pride in herself becoming the breadwinner for her family since she was also the first child. 

Yang Menghuo didn't want to poke on the bear by showering Ying Jie with money and diminishing her pride. At least not now. He wanted to shower Ying Jie with money and everything else after they got married.

'Marriage, huh…'

The thought about marriage was bone deep inside Menghuo's heart as if he had been waiting for the moment where he would hold Ying Jie's hand as they exchanged their vows to be together until death do them part. 

'As if… I have been waiting for fifteen years…' 

Yang Menghuo closed his eyes. He had the promise to marry Batman-Jie fifteen years prior, so in the end, he still had to find Batman-Jie first to sort out his feeling. Whether he wanted to chase Batman-Jie… or Ying Jie...

"If only they're the same person…" Menghuo lamented over the fact that his feeling wasn't loyal, and he fell in love with two women. 

"Or at least, let me marry both of them…"

"WHAT THE HECK, MENGHUO!" Yang Menghuo ruffled his hair in frustration the moment he realized what he just said. How could he be so promiscuous that he was thinking about marrying both of them? He wasn't thinking straight!

'I can't go on like this forever, I have to call Tang Zhui to widen the search for Batman-Jie, and then watch over if any man dares to get close to Ying Jie, and make sure he can't even get close to Ying Jie without thinking about his short-lasting tiny life…' 

Acting like an accidental playboy, Yang Menghuo was thinking about taking care of his two love interests, Ying Jie and Batman-Jie, and making them both happy.

Yang Menghuo called Tang Zhui one of his most trusted subordinates.

'Yes, Boss, is there something you want me to do?' Tang Zhui asked at the end of the call. 

'Go to the village that I told you before to search for Batman-Jie or any lead regarding her. You need to do an extensive search this time,' Menghuo ordered.

'Eh? I thought you stopped since two years ago. But, boss, we've searched for almost a year without any lead. The villages have changed so much for the past fifteen years, and most of the children around your age has moved on to the better village and settle down, or go to the big city to get a job,' Tang Zhui reported his finding, the village was not really prosperous, and the only big house in that village is Menghuo's late grandma's house.

'Besides, they already forgot about the identity of that Batman-Jie of yours since it's been fifteen years, and the girl also disappeared after you left the village.'

Yang Menghuo knew that it would be hard to track down a child of a transporter from fifteen years ago. Especially when thinking about how Batman-Jie said that she came from a faraway village. But this was detrimental to determine what his heart wanted, Batman-Jie or Ying Jie. So he had to find her. 

And at least… even if they couldn't be together… let Menghuo knew that Batman-Jie was in good health, and if she wanted anything, she could just ask.

And if she's married already… she could just ask him to make her husband vanish, poof. Then they'd marry instead.

See? Simple.

'I don't care whatever your reason is. I want you to find her no matter how. And remember, Tang Zhui, you still have to stack debt with me,' Menghuo said.

'Aiya! Boss Meng, don't mention my debt, that's so evil of you! Okay, okay! Just give me more time and money. I will gather more people to search in that abandoned village!' Tang Zhui finally yielded. He knew that his boss was really stubborn and knew how to make everyone around him cower in fear to do his bidding.

His boss was truly a devil hiding behind that handsome and gorgeous veil. It'd fit better if his boss was actually fully bearded, with a big belly, and smoking a rolled tobacco. At least it'd give him a classic mafia look. But Boss Meng was more like a supermodel rather than a gang leader.

'Good, I will reward you once you do a good job, don't worry about money.'

After Menghuo settled the problem with Batman-Jie and started the extensive search, he still had one more thing to do. 

That was… to call Jiang Jinxing, his colleague and the owner of Rent A Boyfriend app. 

Because truth to be told, he was insecure right now, scared that Ying Jie was actually in love with someone else, so he had to find that guy and eliminate him.

But he also had to weed out any possible competition. Yang Menghuo and Ying Jie met with that app, so it was entirely possible for Ying Jie to use it again and met with another guy. Who knew that she might find another man and fell in love with another guy again.

It'd be quite annoying if Menghuo had to dispose new bodies every day, right?

'Hello, Yang-Ge, what's up?' Jinxing answered the call as he was eating his dinner right now.

'Jinxing, I want you to block Shi Ying from ever picking any other man, other than me, in your application,' Menghuo commanded.

Jinxing, who was drinking his evening wine, spurted the wine right after Yang-Ge said that. 

'W—Wait, you're still thinking about that girl? Yang-Ge, I really thought that's just one time thing!' 

'What one time thing? Jinxing, just make sure that she doesn't choose anyone else other than me, okay?' Menghuo commanded again. But this time, Jinxing was not like Tang Zhui. 

Jiang Jinxing was also a rich young master. He also had control over many things despite his young age, just like Yang Menghuo. So he couldn't really order him around without making serious trouble between them.

And he didn't find it worth the time to make trouble with Jinxing for no apparent reason. Jinxing probably had the same thought as well.

However, Jiang Jinxing disliked how Yang-Ge demanded him to do this because of one woman. So he was thinking the quickest way possible without making trouble to everyone. Even he couldn't afford to get on the opposite side of Yang Menghuo.

'Yang-Ge, I can't do that every time, you know. She might replace her phone, change her card number, and even the simplest thing, make a new account in that app. Why don't I give you a better solution instead?' Jinxing said.

'Better solution?'

'Well, whenever this woman named Shi Ying ordered someone else from Rent A Boyfriend app, there will be an instant notification on your phone. So you'll know the personal data of this man. Hm… I suggest you not kill him, though. I don't want to get into trouble as well, ah…' Jinxing explained. 'Why don't you just kidnap and terrify those men who dated your Shi Ying and make sure they're too scared to do a second date or even to see your woman. How about it, Yang-Ge?'

'… sometimes I think you're far more callous than you look, Jinxing,' Menghuo commented.

'Don't blame me! I can't fight in this circle without being a bit more callous!' Jinxing said. 'Anyway, I'll be off now. I have a date with my future boyfriend, Xiao-Ge, tee-hee~.'

Yang Menghuo finally sorted out all the problems with Ying Jie and Batman-Jie. Now all he needed to do was to see whether Ying Jie found a match other than him in that app. 

'Well, Jinxing's idea should work. I was about to dispose their bodies… but it'd be too much trouble…' Menghuo thought. He felt more relieved as he finally sorted out his problem. Now he needed some refreshment.

Yang Menghuo used a second phone with a new number to call Ying Jie's number. All his scary and intimidating aura disappeared in an instant, replaced with such cute gaze and demeanour that 'Meng Bao' had.

Ying Jie answered the call and asked, 'Hello, who is this?'

'Ying Jie~ This is Meng Bao's new phone number, please don't block me again now, pleaseeeee…'
