"You bitch! How dare you come here!" Julia ran towards me about to pounce but Troy came between us and stopped her. He took her by the hand.
"Ms. Julia if you insist on hurting Queenie then please forgive me but I will use force on you." Troy said with a neutral tone.
Julia flinched with the pain from Troy's grip. He let go of her after a while.
I saw father leaned against the stair case post holding his chest."Daddy are you all right?" I ran towards him.
"I'm okay." father said.
"Get me his medicine." I look at a house maid standing at a corner hiding. She quickly nodded and left.
"Daddy please calm down." I said worriedly.
"Let me help you sit down." Troy offered and assisted father to the chair.
The maid brought father's medicine and a glass of water and gave it to me. I hurriedly get one tablet from the bottle and gave it to father with the glass of water. Father took the medicine with one gulp.
"Thanks my baby girl." he said with fatherly affection.
"Daddy I'm innocent with what Julia's blaming me for." I started when father had calm down. "I don't even know Brad personally so how can I set up Julia. I'm not that kind of person." I acted innocently.
"Liar!" Julia shouted. "Mom she's lying." She looks at Victoria who was now beside her.
Victoria gives me a piercing look like she wants to kill me. "Julian your daughter Julia said she was set up. Why can't you believe her? She would never lie."
'Never lie? Hah, this mother-daughter pair can lie without bating an eyelash. They are such demonesses.' I thought.
"Then are you telling me I'm lying?" I asked. I look at my father. "Daddy it was Julia that invited me to the reunion. I wasn't an alumni in the first place so I can't go there without any invite. And also I didn't know Brad personally so how can I set them up." I acted a victim.
"You bitch, liar. You were the one who drugged my drink and took me to that hotel room." Julia was insisting.
"Then where is your evidence?" I asked. "Before pointing your finger you should present evidence first."
Julia was silent. I knew she couldn't show any evidence because I have cleaned it up.
"I just saw the access card in your purse so I thought you reserved a room beforehand. I just helped you go up there and rest because you were so drunk." I explained. "If you want to know who the room is named to then you can call the hotel."
Julia's face was starting to pale like blood is being drained from her.
"And I didn't give you any drinks." I said. "Come to think of it, you were the one to give me a glass of champagne and insisted me to drink." I smirked internally.
"O-of course not. I didn't give you any drinks." Julia said.
"You did give her a glass of champagne. I can testify to that." I heard a familiar voice. Then when I looked at the door there he was standing proudly, Shawn.
