I was in the kitchen standing in front of the oven. I am just waiting for the apple pie to finish baking. Troy's favorite cordon bleu has been cooked and the sauce is ready to be served.I look at my phone and it was nearly eight in the evening."It looks like Troy had so many work piled up." I said to myself. I speed dial one and walked out of the kitchen.'Ring ring'"Hello love." Troy answered."Hi love. Busy day?" I asked."You said it. It was surely a long busy day." I hear Troy sighed. "I'm already on the way home. I can't wait to hug and kiss you."I giggled. "I cooked your favorite cordon bleu and apple pie tonight. I'm just waiting for you. Let's eat together.""Wow really? I can't wait to get home then." Troy said enthusiastically. "I'm almost there love. See you.""See you." I smiled and ended the call.'Ting' I hear the oven ring."Oh. Looks like the apply pie is done." I said to myself.I entered the kitchen again and opened the oven door. The smell and aroma of the apple pie filled the kitchen."Hmm smells delicious."I wear some pot holders and get the apple pie out from the oven."It smells good." Nanny Sally said. She just popped up behind me."Oh my, nanny Sally. You startled me." I said surprised."How can I help?" Nanny Sally asked for the 'nth' time.When I arrived home earlier I told nanny Sally that I want to cook for Troy tonight. She insisted in helping out but because this was something special I told her to just sit back and relax. But it looks like she can't just sit back. I know she was worried that I would over exert myself especially now that I'm pregnant."Can you please set the table nanny Sally? Troy will be home shortly." I asked."Of course Jill." Nanny Sally replied."Thanks." I said. Then I heard the car up front. "It looks like Troy has arrived. Nanny Sally I will leave this to you.""Leave this to me. Go and greet your husband." Nanny Sally said with a smile.I take off my apron and pot holders and rushed to the front door.When I arrived Troy just entered the door. He was wearing a dark blue suit and pants with a light blue tie to match."I'm home my love." Troy said with a smile."Welcome home my love." I greeted him.Troy opened his arms and I walked towards his embrace.Troy sniffed my hair. "Your smell is very relaxing. Just by hugging you my stress fades away." He said."You had a tiring day?" I asked."I worked on the work that piled up. But there are still many left." Troy sighed."You must be hungry. The food is served at the dining room." I said and smiled."Good. I'm famished." Troy said.He grabbed my hands and led me to the dining room.We take our seats besides the dining table."These looks good. You really know my favorite food." Troy said while looking at the food on the table.When I was with Troy back in Paris I have closely watched him. I had a secret crush on him while I was studying in college. I remember that I have kept a diary of his favorite food, activities, music etc. I was like a fangirl watching her idol closely."Let's start eating then." I smiled at him.I watch Troy took his first bite. His face lit up after chewing the food."It's delicious." Troy praised me."I'm glad you like it." I said.I put my hand inside the pocket of my dress. Inside I feel the ultrasound photo of my angels. 'Later after eating I will tell Troy the good news.' I smile formed on my face.
