Chapter 87: Passionate Kiss

I began to doubt his love, maybe it was not as deep as I thought; maybe it was just his sense of possession after seeing my dazzling beauty; maybe he would get tired of me and abandon me soon.

Put aside all the possibilities, the world had countless possibilities for the future, but there was a unique present. It would have been a meaningless future if I hadn't captured the present.

"Irene," Jonathan called her name as usual, with a gentle voice and said, "Desiree has not had dinner, prepare some food for her."

"Oh... " Irene put down the coffee which had sipped a little, then stood up and said, "I'll go now."

When Irene went out, I looked up at Jonathan. "What's the relationship with her?"

He would dare to say that there was nothing between them. I would throw the coffee in his face and say, "I don't want to see you again!"

There was no reply, he leaned against the back of the sofa, resting one leg leisurely on the other. His eyes shone brilliantly, a wide smile on his lips.

"I'm asking you."

He leaned toward me, holding my jaw with his powerful fingers and said, "Who do you think you are asking me that?"

I confronted him dauntlessly, "Your wife!"

"If I remember correctly, it is you who went abroad with Steven two years ago and came back with the heir of the family. Do you still know that you are my wife?" Jonathan asked.

"It is you who deserted me first," I reminded him.

"You just said you were going to divorce me yesterday," he argued.

"We are still a legally registered couple," I told him. I had just finished speaking when he showed an evil smile

"Legal couple?" he sat close to me, managing to fix me between him and the back of the sofa before I escaped. Then he said, "I would like to ask, then, do we fulfill the lawful rights and interests of husband and wife?"

Jealousy is a deadly weakness among women. "Legal rights?" I swallowed. "Is this an important matter to discuss?" I asked.

I turned away uneasily when his lips approached mine. Feeling the warmth of his neck, a burst of electricity flowed throughout my body.

My voice trembled as I said, "You haven't answered my question."

He pulled my face back and pressed his lips on mine. After not seeing one another for a long time, there was still a flame burning.

He began to lose his control and kissed me, then pressed down on the couch, tearing off my shirt. He moved his greedy fingers all over my body, every inch of my familiar skin.

I vaguely remember that I had neglected something important, but before I could remember it, I was distracted by his soft hands moving along my body. The passionate kiss and the entanglement of our bodies triggered the pain in my feet, but I did not care about it at all, I just responded to his passion.

Hearing the door open, I suddenly remembered what I had forgotten – Irene would be back soon.

The passion died down suddenly, and he sat up straight. Embarrassed, I sat up, holding my clothes without buttons and straightening my feeble body to sit up. I moved back, staying a little distance away from him.

"I arranged dinner, and the hotel will deliver it soon," said Irene quietly, with normal expression. Indeed, I admired her calmness.

"Well!" Jonathan looked up at Irene, then at me.

Suddenly, the atmosphere became heavy. I tried to break it, then Irene said, "Just now, the hotel called to inform me that of the guests' safes has been stolen."

"Then you must deal with it," Jonathan thought seriously and said, "Tell the manager, not to call the police. It is our responsibility, we will pay for his loss first. After it is solved, we will investigate it slowly."

"Yes! I understand!" she replied.

The profound words- I understand. Irene picked up her windbreaker and went out hurriedly.

But she didn't even take her bag.
