“AAAAAAARGH!”
Xue Jingzhao wasn’t having the time of her life. At first, the Noble Consort believed that post Immortal Ascension, her days were doomed to be filled with splendor. Alas, her new master refused to give her peace, even going as far as to feed her Hyper Gestation Pills to speed up her pregnancy.
The lack of mercy, the degradation and abuse slowly sowed the seed of self-deprecation in Xue Jingzhao’s callous heart—making her wonder if all those years, she didn’t overestimate her sex appeal.
Now, even with a four-tribulation Human Immortal cultivation base, she struggled to give birth—an inconceivable matter. It almost seemed as if for all the good fortune that she received from Xinzi, equal misfortune would smack her in the face.
Surrounded by none but her shadow on the walls, the Noble Consort lay on a divine jade bed. Colossal quantities of spiritual energy poured out of her belly, merging into a dazzling black and white orb that hovered above her. The bigger the orb became, the more Xue Jingzhao’s belly shrank. Lost in the ordeal of childbirth, her body didn’t register the cataclysmic events going on outside.
The divine jade bed ensured that the tremors wouldn’t affect her. But even then, the task wasn’t any less arduous. But as Jingzhao’s arms turned limp and her body started weakening, one voice boomed in her mind.
‘Go, beloved consort, go!’ Xinzi said and appeared by Jingzhao’s side. The words were like a smack to a mare’s behind. Jingzhao’s spirit galloped forward, and all the energy accumulated in her belly poured out, fueling the orb.
Subsequently, the orb crystallized into one black-white egg—it then split into six smaller eggs, each rippling with vast chaotic energies.
“Victory!” Eyes full of curiosity, Xinzi tilted his head left and right, staring at the six eggs, then T-posed in celebration of this dominant win over Heaven’s Will.
“What did you call me?” Warm hope flashing in her eyes, Jingzhao asked—interrupting Xinzi’s T-pose celebration.
“Oh sorry, that was just to give you courage and an energy boost. I didn’t mean it,” our monk said, not bothering to shift his attention from the eggs.
“You! Why are you so cruel to me?!” Jingzhao couldn’t understand. If Xinzi treated all females the way he did her, she could accept it all. But she’d spent enough in Night Flower City to know, that even the most random of palace maids received doting affection. Why was the gap this abnormal?
“Cruel? You can’t say that. I made you immortal and the single mother of my children. Do you know how many would kill for these opportunities? If that’s cruel…ok, ok, I admit it. I just love being cruel to you. Ain’t nothing I can do about it so just get used to it. The sooner you do, the better you’ll feel, and if one day you start enjoy my mistreatment, then maybe, just maybe, I will treat you well,” Xinzi said and reached for the eggs. They cracked bits by bits, announcing the birth of our monk’s offspring.
“I will…I will…fight you!” Jingzhao didn’t seem to care for the incoming brats. All her attention and thoughts revolved around Xinzi. Her cheeks flushed red, and her eyes burned with obsessive rage.
“Really? My little pet wants to fight?” Xinzi asked, and shifted towards Jingzhao. The colorful clouds preventing her from peeking at his face parted just enough to reveal his eyes, and terror-struck by the malevolent energies flashing within, she recoiled in terror, lowering her head, and not daring to confront him.
The eyes. After giving birth to six children, Xinzi’s eyes was all she got to see!
Xinzi couldn’t say in all honesty that by choosing Jingzhao, he was blessing her. Our monk couldn’t tell the consequences of his offspring on the mother, and so had to ensure that the first woman to deliver his eggs should be someone he could afford to lose.
Facts showed that he made the correct move. Even the four-tribulation Human Immortal Jingzhao struggled to complete the task. In the future, he’d have to lay out better preparations to ensure that the mother wouldn’t face significant hardship.
The eggs broke here, revealing orbs of chaotic energies that sent the seething Jingzhao rolling out of her bed. The light dispersed, and six chubby babies with curly white and black hair, plus butterfly wings of the same color, came into view.
“Hihihi!” They didn’t cry. Better, they laughed at Xinzi, flying around him like a squad of cherubs.
“Oh?” From them, Xinzi not only sensed a monster core, but also a cultivation base that seemed to combine early-stage Immortal Foundation and Demon Creed. In theory, their cultivation base compared to the peak of the Nascent Soul realm, but in practice, someone at Lord Hanxing’s level should think twice before attempting to fight any of the babies.
Colorful rays flashed around the babes, and to Xinzi’s shock, they expanded, turning into winged armored colossi that smashed through the ceiling, collapsing the palace Xinzi had prepared for Jingzhao’s child-birthing and soaring towards the sky!
“Holy f…shrink, shrink, shrink!” Standing over 100 meters tall, the Armored Titans still had the same cultivation base, but the pressure now lacing their forms would make many senior experts quake at their feet.
“Oh!” The Armored Titans nodded at Xinzi, and shrank back to winged baby form. Xinzi snapped his fingers, and the collapsed palace rebuilt on its own. Jingzhao’s eyes almost popped out of their sockets. The shock made a mess of her already weakened senses, and she passed out.
“What else can you turn into? Dad wants something cute.” Full of curiosity, Xinzi stroked the winged babies’ heads.
“Wooo!” Spurred on, they raised their chubby fists towards the sky. Again, colorful rays flashed, and to Xinzi’s delight, the six babies turned into little fox cubs, with colorful fur that matched his Qi Ocean. The foxes piled up on either sides of Xinzi’s large shoulders, rubbing at their dad.
“Mhm…interesting—sooo interesting. Due to your strange cultivation bases that seem to harmony divine and infernal, let’s call you…Mini Overlords.”
