This year Kang Jin Ha is 10 years old.

Jin Ha as a child has been dealing with so many issues, from when he started school till the year of his 10th birthday, he had low self-esteem, why?

Because he always teased.

Firstly because they all knew that he and his siblings were broke, the others never had problems with this because they were together but since Jin Ha was alone at school, no-one bothered to stand up for him.

Jin Hee and Seung Joon complained about the bullying to the school many times but still, nothing was done about it so Seung Joon said "Fuck it, I have told you as the principal of this school to stop the children from bullying my brother but its the same shit over and over with you, my siblings and I were together and we stood up for one another, so obviously you don't know about us since you're new but I'm warning you now man to man, do not phone me and tell me, Jin Ha lost his temper and beat someone up, because if you do, then you and I are going to have a problem."

That was his warning and the principal thought Seung Joon was being arrogant and didn't bother listening to his warning.

The second reason why? Because of Jin Ha's eyes, Jin Ha was born with two different coloured eyes 1 light green and the other brown, now this put 1 hell of a blow on Jin Ha's self-esteem even after 18 years he is still self-conscious about his eyes.

Since little Jin Ha was teased because of his eyes, he was handsome, adorable and beautiful to some but who would interact with someone people bullied? Not them and not me, not you I presume and don't say you would because you to would be bullied and you know that, so you would avoid it if you could.

**Err… being the author and all I should actually say I would be his friend but honestly, I was bullied too for many years and I don't want to go through it in my next life, bullying is a s*h*i*t thing and I know some of you have experienced it or was an offender, but we have to talk about this. Jin Ha is like me, we never enjoyed our school life**

Jin Ha was always alone, happy when he woke up in the morning, happy when he was on his way to school, happy when he said goodbye to his Noona but after he turned his back to her the atmosphere from school left a bad taste in his mouth but that would all fade away when he sees his beautiful Noona after school and returns home.

For years, from kindergarten all the way to his last year of school, that place drained his energy.

Being the son of Kang Seung Joon and Kang Jin Hee they raised him in this manner, "We know you are being bullied at school, we have spoken to the principal but he doesn't care about you, so I need you to understand something and that is, in this world, you can rely on some people and not everyone, you can trust some but not all, in our family you can trust us your brothers and sister but out there when you choose your friends, choose them wisely, they should never bring you down and vice versa"

"We can't always be by your side to stand up for you, so you need to learn how to stand on your own, us your Hyungs will be there if you need help with homework and other things but first try, ask your teacher to help you, if said person doesn't want to, come to us, it will be hard because you're on your own but remember this, don't get depressed and think you are alone, we are here for you."

"When someone makes you angry, hold your anger to yourself and walk away, if problems can be resolved, solve it. If someone is looking for attention from you in the wrong way, ignore it, if they don't stop bothering you, I am allowing you to beat them up but on one condition, you have to apologize after."

"But Hyung, what if I didn't start it, why should I apologize?"

"No reason, just everytime you fight apologize even if you don't mean it, if you do it this way, I will never get angry at you. Do you understand."

"Mn"

Jin Hee: "Another thing, tell your teachers if they phone us and you apologized, we won't show up."

Jin Ha nodded his head understanding what was said and thought about it, he could do what he basically wanted and get away with it.

On Jin Ha's 10th birthday, he received a present from his brothers and sister, what he received? Brown contact lenses.

When he put them on, he looked in the mirror and saw that it made a difference, it was his face but not his eyes, these contact lenses made him look different a different he did not like.

When he went to school the following week with the contact lenses on, people noticed it and were surprised, he became more handsome than before and the girls dropped their guard and became friendlier, the boys started mingling with Jin Ha but what they got in return, was a cold person who wanted nothing to do with them.

His interaction with his fellow classmates went from him trying to make friends to him not giving a rats ass about any of them.

He stopped speaking to the teachers, he stopped speaking to his classmates but that didn't stop him from speaking to the people who were already his friends, you know? The people I never mentioned before, the friends who are his friends today even after 18 years.
