94 A Cliche Figh

Irvin Alexander had ginger, shoulder-length hair clumsily hung over a fine, charming face. Shining hazel eyes were set tightly within their sockets and kept scanning the people eating with him in the room.

With his look, there wouldn't be any surprise to see beautiful young girls instantly fall in love with him

However looks could be deceiving when dealing with Irvin, the fact he was sadistic and vicious was just the tip of an iceberg. Never mind the fact he was also agonizing, obsessive, and perverse, but fortunately, they were balanced out slightly by being generous as well.

"Oh come on Irvin, haven't you become tired of girls yet?"

"Shut up Dan! Irvin will never become tired of us, will you Irvin?"

Irvin was always surrounded by either his four friends or girls and now he was surrounded by the former. Dan was everything the exact opposite of Irvin, he was gentle, kind, and a kid when it comes to girls. While Dan was trying to be a good influence on Irvin, the other three in the group were the partners in crime for Irvin, the three included a duo of girls and a brute named Bobby.

The two girls were called Sabrina and Peggy and they were like another pair of hands to Irvin as they had always been around him.

"What a backwater place is this? I can't even find one decent girl" Irvin growled and never even looked at the delicious foods on his table while the other four had their lips stained with grease and kept munching on the foods.

"At least you have us" Sabrina the redhead laughed but Irvin was not in the mood to laugh with them.

Seeing Irvin's gloomy face Peggy the blonde put her hand on Irvin's shoulder and said "Oh come on honey, if you show that badge even the new king might marry his sister to you"

The badge on Irvin's chest was not fancy, it was a circular black badge with 'R' delicately engraved onto it. Hanging above the crest R carried the motto, which read "Pride and honor"

It was the badge of the Redland Academy for Mages, the prestigious academy for nobles and royalties just like the Cold Moon Palace established in the Lisian Kingdom, a rank 2 kingdom.

"Just don't try to kidnap any more girls will ya?" Dan rolled his eyes while saying since he witnessed Irvin take many poor girls by force or any means necessary and he grew tired of it, unlike Bobby who had a cruel nature of enjoying girls crying and begging.

"Welcome to Royal Dine my lord, my lady" the moment the word my lady reached his ears Irvin's head turned to see the newcomers.

"Jackpot!" Irvin screamed in excitement and joy when he saw the black-haired girl in a dark blue long coat. Irvin could see the girl following the youth who seemed like a standard noble youth but he was handsome as Irvin or even more.

Seeing the youth and the girl walking towards the empty table, Irvin just scanned both of them for any badges or family crests on their clothes because he didn't want to mess with powerful factions like the Ariel Family and he wouldn't have survived this long if he hadn't been careful.

However, there was no badges or crests on them which meant they were not from powerful or prestigious factions because no one in their right mind would leave their family crest or academy badge while roaming around the kingdoms as the crests and badges provided the security as well as the respect among the people.

For example, if someone had the crest of Cold Moon Palace or Ariel family or Redland Academy, even a king had to show them respect and do everything in their power to treat that person well in order to avoid the wrath of that faction behind the person, this was an unwritten law for especially for small and weak kingdoms.

Redland Academy considered an equal to a level 2 kingdom so students from there had the chance to bully even several inferior level 2 kingdoms let alone a level 4 kingdom like Emir, it was clearly not fair but it was the ugly truth in this world.

"Our hunter has got a prey" Sabrina chuckled as she noticed where Irvin was gawking at.

"I've never even heard of these dishes before" even though the dishes looked familiar and simple to Arrora, they had weird names that Arrora couldn't pronounce.

The table before Don and Arrora had mushroom soup, bitter greens with tomatoes the size of peas, rare roast meat slices as thin as paper, noodles in a shiny red sauce, cheese that melts on tongue served with sweet blue grapes.

For Don, he ordered a vegetable salad and just water while the fancy-looking dishes were ordered for Arrora since this was her first time eating outside of Everlight.

"I will definitely become fat if I eat these"

"It's okay, go on" hearing Don, Arrora picked up the meat slice with the fork and slowly put it into her mouth as the meat touched her taste buds Arrora's eyes went wide in surprise "this is really good" even with her proper etiquette and table manners, the excess cheese slipped out of her mouth and greased her lips.

"Aside from being so beautiful, what do you do for a living my lady?"

Don looked up to see a ginger haired youth standing before him while Arrora put down her bowl and cleaned her mouth before speak

"I'm not interested Mister" Arrora tried her best to sound polite because she didn't want to cause trouble by being arrogant.

"Playing hard to get huh" Irvin thought to himself and touched his Redland crest to show Arrora where he was from. Arrora didn't understand why he was still there touching his chest but Don did

"But I'm very interested in you my lady," Don sat there saying nothing while Irvin looking at Arrora top to bottom in a bad way

Even though Arrora felt disgusted and got angrier by the second, she still restrained her anger just for the sake of not causing any trouble for Don and replied

"Sorry Mister..."

"She said she's not interested" but before Arrora could finish Don interrupted her

"Shut your mouth imbecile" Irvin knew it was time he shows his true face but the moment he insulted the youth, the girl's veins started to pop in her forehead

"Apologize" Arrora said.

"Apologize? To him? Bobby show him how WE apologize. '' Irvin waved his hand at the oversized mountain of a man watching the scene from a few meters away from Don and Arrora.

The land beneath Don literally shook while Bobby was walking towards him with a grin on his face. In the eyes of Arrora, there wasn't any fear because she had the power of a peak great master with hybrid energy to control the elements around her, besides she had Don behind her, a grandmaster.

"Bobby please don't kill him" Dan shouted from his seat while Sabrina and Peggy looked at the scene with wine in their hands like they were watching a show.

"I hope he's not your relative" Irvin let out an evil laugh while Bobby got closer to Don.

Don seemed like he was not in the mood for a battle now as he continued to eat his vegetable salad ignoring the advancing brute. Bobby's grin disappeared while he became furious seeing the youth ignoring him without peeing in his pants.

"Enjoying your last meal?" Bobby asked and reached for Don's neck, however when his hand was just an inch away from his neck, Bobby heard a sword slashing sound followed by a thud sound like something heavy hitting the ground.

"Ahhhhhhh" a girl eating a few feet away from Don's table screamed till she fainted.

"Ahhhhhhhh" another scream echoed through the room yet it was not a girl this time but Bobby himself. He saw his right shoulder had been sliced clean off and blood spraying all over the place, even Irvin who stood close to the scene didn't realize who cut Bobby's hand till he saw the blood dripping sword on Arrora's hand.

Don formed an invisible shield made of wind around him and the food on the table to prevent Bobby's blood spraying on them and into his salad.

"I'm going to kill you bit..." Bobby's shout was silenced in the middle as another thud sound emerged and it was followed by few thuds.

Everything happened so fast that Irvin or any one of them in the restaurant couldn't see what's happening, in a blinking time there were chunks of body parts lying around in a pool of blood where Bobby was standing just a moment ago.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh" the same girl who screamed first woke up and screamed again before fainting while the waitresses threw up on the spot when they saw the gory scene however Don kept eating his salad in peace like nothing's happening.

"Apologize" Arrora's voice echoed through the room, Irvin just stood there in shock and disgust.

"You...do you know who you're messing with?" Irvin was a long-range combat mage and he was standing before Arrora exposed without his group to cover him, it made him fear for his life.

"No" Arrora said and slashed her sword as Bobby's blood on her sword spattered across the room "Apologize"

But before Irvin could say anything Arrora saw a bunch of icicles coming towards her. Don saw the blonde guy's the one sent the icicles probably in order to save his friend from Arrora and felt pity for him when Arrora destroyed the icicles with one slash of her sword.

"Apologize!!" this time Arrora shouted as she hit Irvin's nose with her sword's hilt, the force of Arrora's hit made Irvin fall and seeing the blood flowing out of his mouth and the crunch sound Don heard clearly showed that Irvin's nose was broken.

"Stay away from him!!!" Sabrina and Peggy came screaming towards Arrora and tried to hit her using the iron gloves they had. For Arrora it was like seeing two monkeys jumping around before her since she saw the magical fluctuations around them which revealed their true cultivation level, peak master level.

"You two are way out of your league"
