After seeing Knight gruesomely killing their two friends, the remaining three were stripped away of their warrior spirit.

"How can you be so strong? And why the fuck can't I see your magical fluctuations?"

The boss man shouted and started taking steps back as Knight slowly walked towards them.

But in a blink, Knight's figure disappeared and appeared behind the man beside the boss man and before the boss man could do anything, hot blood was splashed on his face as he saw a headless body fall to the ground.

"Weaklings"

Knight spat out the blood in his mouth and slowly walked towards the bossman himself.

"I feel sorry for you guys for being filler villains"

"Wait, what?"

Knight didn't waste any time as he leaped at the bossman and bit his head off and spat the head on the ground like a ball.

The ground beneath Knight soaked in their blood and dyed red.

"Are you finished?"

Knight was shaking off the blood and asked Don. While still sitting under the tree, Don raised his hand as the metal rings on the headless bodies flew and landed on his palm.

"Come on let's go, we can check their rings on the way"

Don handed over the rings to Arrora and stood up to leave.

After dealing with the robbers, the three of them continued to walk towards the light beam while Arrora checked the contents inside the rings.

"There's nothing here except for few pills and weapons"

"We should throw away the rings just before we get out of here"

When they reached near the light beam, Knight quickly climbed on a tree and scouted the area around the light beam.

Surprisingly Knight could only see a couple of people and they were stepping into the light beam.

"No big crowd before us, just a couple of guys"

Knight jumped down and said to Don and Arrora as they nodded.

Walking a few meters, they reached the light beam and the place looked desolate.

"It's a gateway to the second level"

The thought appeared on their minds when they got closer to the light beam.

"So shall we go to the next level? Or roam around here for a while?"

Arrora asked as Knight shook his head.

"No, there will be more valuable treasures in the second level"

"I wonder how many levels are there"

Don said and walked into the portal as Arrora and Knight followed him.

When they stepped outside of the light beam, they realized that they were teleported into a building, unlike the open realm they just came from.

"Lose the masks, it'll draw too much attention towards us"

They removed the skull masks before anyone could notice and mingled with the others without drawing much attention towards them.

At first, Don wanted Knight to get inside his ring but fortunately, he saw similar magical beasts among the groups inside the building.

"Summoning runes"

Arrora recognized the pendants because her father had one like the pendant to summon an eagle to aid him.

"Known is a drop and unknown is an ocean, the old wolf is right yet again"

Knight had no idea of such a thing as Summoning runes existing as this was the first time he saw something like that.

"Who's old wolf?"

Arrora asked.

"Someone we used to hang out with"

Knight said and started to walk towards the queue of people before him.

"When will this open?"

As Don reached the queue people were shouting at the energy barrier before the stairs.

"Look at those old scrolls, I'm sure that those are spells and battle techniques"

And just when they were talking about the scrolls behind the energy barrier, a fire arrow suddenly hit the barrier and shattered it.

Don turned back and saw Chase gracefully walking towards them as the people quickly made way for her.

"Miss Chase"

"Senior Sister"

Some of them made a deep bow as some of them nodded with respect at Chase.

Even though the barrier was shattered, no one rushed in to take the stairs as they waited for Chase to enter first.

"Bitch"

Arrora cursed under her breath as she stood back behind Don and Knight and waited for Chase to take the stairs first.

However when Chase placed her foot on the first step, suddenly a golem made of nothing but rocks appeared before her.

"Intruder detected in the library, step back and leave the area"

The golem released his low great master level magical fluctuations as Rosalind quickly stepped back and when she did, the light in the golem's eyes disappeared, and looked immobilized.

Chase frowned and turned her gaze towards the crowd to ask their assistance to beat the golem because, with her mid master cultivation level, she would definitely lose the fight with the golem in this close space.

"Don, Arrora come here"

Don and Arrora heard Knight's voice inside their heads as they turned to see Knight hiding behind a pillar away from the crowd.

The two of them slowly sneaked away while Chase was asking for the youths for their assistance to beat the golem.

"What?"

Arrora asked.

"I scanned the area and found a total of three floors above us from this one"

Don noticed the concern in Knight's eyes as Knight sighed

"I was also able to detect three more same energy signature came from the golem, the bad news is those energies radiating much more power than this one"

" That means there are more powerful golems up there"

Arrora said as Knight slowly nodded his head.

"What should we do?"

Arrora asked and Knight looked at Don for his answer

"I didn't think we have to reveal our strength this soon, but stronger security often means worthy treasured and loot"

The Everlight army was lacking battle spells and battle techniques as until now they were manipulating the elements to attack like Don and Knight but unlike Don and Knight, they had life energy inside their bodies so if Don could provide them with spells and battle techniques, they could also use the spells with their life energy and spells would be quick to cast than manipulating the element.

"Here's the plan, we let them take on the first golem"

Don glanced at Chase and the rest of the group

"While they are fighting with this one, Wolf will go to the second floor and keep the golem in there busy while I'll go to the upper floor to face that golem "

"What do I do?"

Arrora knew that with her current cultivation level, she could not fight with the golems so she decided not to participate in the battle and became a burden to Knight and Don rather than helping them.

"While we are keeping the golems busy, you take everything into your ring and after we finish the two golems, we will go to the final floor together and face the last golem, hopefully"

"Alright, but how do we get there without taking the steps and fighting the first golem?"

"We will improvise"

"Intruders detected in the library, activating the cleanup sequence"

Chase and the youths had already started attacking the golem as every spell they cast on the golem shook the ground.

While they were fighting, Don retrieved two daggers from his space rings.

He stabbed the pillar with the daggers and started to climb on the pillar-like a monkey as Knight swiped Arrora off the ground and climbed the wall using his sharp claws with her on his back.

In the midst of their battle with the golem plus their speed of climbing, Chase and the others failed to notice the three of them as Knight and Arrora reached the second floor. Then in a few seconds, Don also reached his floor with a jump.

Although Don was powerful enough to take on a peak level grandmaster, he wanted to finish the fight with the golem with minimal collateral damage because every scroll on the floor was important to him.

"Intruder dete"

Before the golem's voice could reach the ears of the youths below, Don manipulated the air element around the golem and prevented the sound from traveling to their ears.

Considering Don was unable to guess the strength of the golem, he moved slowly to check its movement and reflex speed. Just like Don, Knight also manipulated the air element to prevent the sound from reaching downstairs.

"Peak level great master"

Arrora saw the magical fluctuations and informed Knight quickly before starting taking the scrolls.

When the golem noticed the light coming from Arrora's hand taking all the scrolls on the stand, the golem changed its target and moved towards Arrora. However, when the golem took a step forward, Knight's body grew bigger as his head almost touched the ceiling.

Arrora paused for a moment and looked at Knight's huge body with wide eyes and compared to the Knight's current state, the golem looked smaller.

With his power, Knight could have crushed the golem to death but he decided not to destroy the golem because he didn't want another golem or golems to appear as the next security level. Don and Knight knew their priority, they didn't come here to fight the golem but steal those scrolls.
