"So do you believe us or want to fight with him too?"
Knight asked her with a proud smile on his face while the tigress shook her head in disbelief
"No, it can't be, it must be an illusion"
Seeing that he had to defeat her to get her respect, Don sighed and stood up.
"I guess we're fighting huh?"
The tigress also took the fighting stance
"No, I won't lose twice in a day and I won't lose to a kid like him"
The golden light appeared around her body as she started to run around him to confuse him.
"Got you"
She jumped out of the tornado and placed her claws on Don's neck except her claws touched nothing but the air. She realized that it was an afterimage and she quickly turned back but she felt cold metal on her neck.
"You're fast but I'm faster"
"Well speed was always your thing"
Even Knight was surprised to see Don's speed.
The tigress swallowed her saliva as she realized that if they wanted to hurt her and the cubs, they would have no problem. Even though she had never left this realm, she saw her fair share of freaks among the beasts living here but the human behind her and the wolf or lion before her would take the top two places.
"This is the worst day, you three have to come here huh?"
The three cubs purred and gawked at her with an innocent look on their faces.
"Alright I yield, can you take that sword away from my throat now?"
Don took away the sword from her throat and threw it at Arrora. Catching the sword, Arrora checked her scabbard to see her sword was missing and the sword in her hands belonged to her.
"When did you take that?"
The tigress's eyes went wide in shock considering she never even saw him going over to the other human and unsheathing his sword.
"How could you enter this realm with your real cultivation level?"
The tigress couldn't believe that they entered this realm with their cultivation because every beast in this realm knew that the portal would suppress their cultivation to the master level before allowing them to step into this realm.
"We are not your average cultivators"
Knight said and glazed the meat with honey.
"Yeah, no shit"
She wanted to feel frustrated but the aroma radiating from the meat soothed her.
The cubs were bouncing and running around the meat with their tongues stuck out.
"So are you a normal human or you're a freak too?"
The tigress asked Arrora
"Ah sort of"
"Come on"
The tigress growled as Knight and Arrora started to laugh looking at her frustrated face.
"What are their names? And what's yours?"
Arrora asked but the answer really shocked her.
"I just call them yellow, black, white and you can call me grey"
"What kind of names are yellow black white, and grey, who named you guys?"
The cubs stopped running around the fire and shook their heads
"Traitors"
The tigress growled at them as the cubs ran towards Arrora and jumped into her hands.
"We'll give you new names when we return"
"That might be a problem"
"What problem?"
"The portal, it won't allow the natives like us leave this realm and don't think about putting us into your space ring, we would die in there and I'm not going to let anything happen to this little buggers"
Knight sighed in relief as he thought that it's going to be a big problem.
"Relax, we'll put you into this"
Knight pointed at Don's ring in his chest as the tigress realized that these freaks have another surprise for her.
"Isn't that a nonmagical metal ring?"
Hearing her skepticism, Knight didn't waste time explaining but nodded at Don as he waved his hand and a white light appeared from the ring and then, Knight vanished with light.
"Where did he go?"
Don tapped the ring as he removed it from his chest and gave it to the tigress. Seeing the ring on her hand, she injected life energy to open the ring but nothing happened.
"Don't waste your energy, you can't open it"
Arrora said but the tigress kept trying.
"come out"
Don said as the tigress saw the white light appear again from the ring and saw Knight inside the light.
"Do you believe now?"
The white light disappeared as Knight stood before her.
"What kind of space ring is that? I've never heard of something like it before"
"Wanna give it a try?"
Knight asked the tigress with a wink as she shook her head
"Don't say you're too afraid, I'll enter it with you, come one "
She was still shaking her head but Knight stepped forwards and stood beside her as Don waved his hand.
"Oh shit"
The tigress saw a white light envelop her and in a flash, she was standing in a dark place with Knight beside her.
"Welcome to the void"
"What is this place? How come we're alive inside a space ring?"
"Relax, no one knew how this works but that doesn't matter, what matters is you're alive and with this, we can safely get you out of here"
The tigress looked around the place with wonder and curiosity
"Does it have a limit? Can humans and the other races stay here?"
"Yes and no, if you want to store things, you can put as much as you want but it can only contain ten living things like us, and no one except us, beasts, can stay here "
"Don take us back"
Knight sent a telepathic message to Don as the tigress saw the white light appear again and in a flash, she returned to the camp.
"Cool"
She smiled and Knight took the meat away from the fire and started to cut it.
"Since we have so much time till the daylight appear let's eat"
It was a long time till she ate meat as this region had almost run out of preys and all she ate recently was herbs and pills.
"Now I know why these little buggers came running from their caves, this is really good"
Her taste buds were dancing in joy inside her mouth as she enjoyed every bite and if she could eat like this every day, she would have no regret leaving this place.
"I forgot to ask, where is their father?"
Knight asked as the tigress stopped chewing the meat for a moment
"Did you think these three are my children? Did you?"
"They are not?"
Arrora asked in surprise and the cubs seemed too busy savoring their meat as they did not pay much attention to their conversation.
"They are my nephews, what's the male word for slut?"
The tigress asked
"They haven't come up with one yet"
Don said as the tigress continued
"My brother is a male slut, he would run around everywhere making out with anyone he could"
"I assume he didn't get a happy ending"
Knight couldn't see any remorse or feelings in her eyes when she was talking about her brother.
"Sort of, he tried to make out with a wrong tigress, and last time I've heard, he's hiding in the northern woods"
"What if he comes back searching for his sons?"
Arrora asked
"He was never there for me and he's not here with them, he left them in my backyard when they were only days old, they didn't even open their eyes, I took care of them ever since, and if he suddenly wanted to play father, I'll rip his throat out before he could get near them"
"Calm down, girl"
Knight chucked and she resumed her eating
After swallowing her last piece, the tigress looked at them with a serious face.
"Do you really want me to come with you? I've never left this place and I don't know what it's like outside, once I'm out there's no way I can return. if I'm alone I'd go with you because I gave you my word but I'm not alone, I have to think about them, can I trust you?"
"I'm not good with words but I can tell promise you this,
If you come with us, we will give you a place that you can really call home and people who love you. better yet, I'll give you time to decide, you and these little ones can travel with us until the portal to our world opens, by then if you have the same feeling as now, you can stay here, no problem"
Knight knew that you don't earn loyalty and trust in a day as you earn them day by day. Plus, he also understood her mindset because he himself was a little afraid when Don asked him to come to this world.
"Deal"
The tigress sighed in relief and felt comforting hearing his promise because she didn't think that he was lying.
"So do you have any more questions?"
"Only one, what're your names?"
"You'll know our real names if you choose to come with us and until then, you can call me Wolf, these two, you can call Viper and Nightmare"
Knight pointed at Don and Arrora to the tigress and after a few moments, the cubs yawned and walked towards the tigress and couched under her chest.
