Chapter 427: Soul Fight

For that reason, he felt lucky to have encountered this thing early and be aware of the biggest side effect that the consumption of this strange 'herb' had.

It was clear to him that every great opportunity was always accompanied by great danger, but he didn't expect the danger to be so big.

It was truly a help from Heavens that this thing hadn't kept its stealth, and had decided to attack him, in an attempt to injure him.

Apparently, even Soul Grandmasters were unable to control their desires for revenge, as it was clear by the dark aura surrounding it, that this thing had turned into some kind of wrathful soul.

Right now Tianlong Yun was thinking that if he could refine this soul, then his Soul Power might get a little boost, and start digging his foundations for later.

The Soul Master Realm was the stage where a Soul Cultivator started to truly cultivate its soul, as besides his path, and direction, he also laid the foundation for his cultivation.

Or it would be more appropriate to say that it started to build the sacred grounds for his soul avatar to rest, and it also started strengthening its own Soul Avatar.

But to do that properly, whoever was, it needed to have a good Soul technique to do it. Making an analogy to daily life it would be the same as working out in the real life.

While anyone could work out if he wanted to, if you didn't have the proper knowledge on how to do it, or didn't have a professional helping you, then you would be just killing your fat, but not working your body.

The same could be said for the situation that Tianlong Yun was in right now, he had just killed all the fat in his body and needed the knowledge to the proper way of working out.

It was precisely because of that reason that he had decided to enter this Nightmare Forest so soon, and was after the inheritance of that Soul God.

Only with the full technique of the Soul God would he be able to build a stable foundation, and continue his Soul cultivation properly.

But that was for later, as right now he was about to face two opponents, one that black soul, and the other the owner of the conscious sea he was at that moment in.

Seeing that his fight with the dark soul had been some kind of equal, that even the measly strength of this guy would be enough to tip the scales.

Still, Tianlong Yun didn't seem worried in the least as he was facing the two in front of him, as his face was perfectly calm and natural.

In fact, he looked more confident than even his opponents were, and this calm clearly made the owner of the conscience sea feel that he had just done the second biggest mistake of his life.

The first was clearly meeting with Tianlong Yun in this life! That was a mistake that had cost him his sanity once, and this was the second, as he was standing in front of him knowing of his special skills, and abilities.

But there was no way back at the moment, and he could only try his best to make sure that he ended up as the winner in this clash.

On the other hand, the reason why Tianlong Yun was so assured of his win in this 2 versus 1 clash was his biggest trump card, the Nirvana flames.

Those flames were amazing not only could they work wonders in recovering back his organs, even after their complete destruction, but they could also affect the psyche and Soul Power.

In fact, the moment he had passed to the Soul Master Realm, it was precisely those flames that had given him a huge help and didn't allow him to stray.

Not only that, but he could feel that his Soul Power was taking some kind of attribute, as it was being smelted by the Nirvana Flames all the time.

It was surely something that could make anyone die from jealousy, and if word of it ever came out in the open, then even if they knew that they would die, the whole Immortal World would be against him.

They would hunt him down like a dog, and would never rest until they placed their hands on those flames.

But the place where he was now was more than safe, and secure, as no one would be able to hear, or see upon their conversations.

As he was thinking like that and was about to release his flames, he saw that the knucklehead and that other guy's soul avatars suddenly disappeared, as they were headed towards him.

He didn't have time to think about whatever he was thinking at the moment, as his soul avatar exploded with an orangish-red color that almost blinded the people around them.

In fact, there were only the three of them inside that Soul space, Tianlong Yun, and the two people in front of him.

Seeing that blinding flame slowly wrap the incorporeal body of his soul avatar, and then become like an extra layer of defense made his opponents have complex feelings about it.

Until now he had shown that at most he was on par with the dark soul, and one had to know that it was the remains of a Soul Grandmaster, but with the Nirvana flames, his strength and power got a huge upgrade.

What made things worst though was the fact that he most probably could use this from the start, but he was playing around with the dark soul.

They didn't know why he was doing something like that, but one thing was for sure, if a miracle didn't happen, they would meet their end in a short time.

Not to mention that they had already jumped in their attack, one with his Soul body, and the other with a strange soul attack, and they couldn't return back anymore.

The scales that had tipped on their side a moment ago, had completely changed at this moment, as they couldn't help but feel like everything was over.

That bad premonition turned out to be true, as both of them could feel like those flames turned alive on their own, and headed towards them by their free will.

The flaming tongues didn't seem to care about their attacks, as they just started entrapping and wrapping them like flaming gifts.

It was truly a sight to see, as the two souls that a moment ago were at high speed to attack him, were only moving in slow motion right now.

Yes, it was right, they were moving towards him in slow motion! They looked like little lambs that were being forcibly dragged towards the shepherd, as he was planning to have lamb meat for the night.

But that wasn't important for him right now, what truly caught his attention was the fact that his Nirvana flames were 'looking' at that dark soul with a hungry desire.

This was the first time he was seeing his Nirvana flames act like that, showing interest towards something, and that kind of interest to be more exact.

Still, it wasn't a bad thing though, in fact, it was more of big help to him, as this way he could take care of the biggest problem he had with those strange herb-like ugly things.

With these thoughts in mind, he let the flames act according to their natural instinct, as immediately the flames expanded, and created a big blob of fire around it.

The temperature in the surroundings increased, as suddenly he felt like he was close to the sun. It was truly hot there, as even those liquid arms reaching for him evaporated in an instant.

In fact, he felt that this wasn't even the peak that his flames could reach, as it felt more like a halfhearted effort, just what was its limit then? He had no idea, but it was certainly terrifying!

He didn't ponder on that for long though, as he saw the flames slowly smelt, and purify that dark soul, and finally absorb the remains.

As soon as that happened the temperature inside dropped in a single instant, it felt like that high temperature, and burning hot were nothing more than some kind of illusion or vanished nightmare.

At that moment he could feel that his Nirvana Flames had become a little bit stronger, while the change was still minute, it was still there.

He didn't know what to think about it, as this was truly a strange case, as normally there weren't flames that could absorb souls either.

But no matter how much he racked his brains he thought that he wouldn't be able to understand the reason, or how it worked so he just placed it at the back of his head and decided to take the wait and see approach.

With that considered, he turned his head a bit to the left, as he now had the remaining soul in his line of sight.

This guy hadn't been able to control himself, and his emotions, as he had decided to act against him. This was truly a grave mistake on his part.

It seemed like the first lesson hadn't been enough for this one, and he would need to teach him some more obedience!

But thinking more into it, that was most probably a lost cause, as he didn't think that this idiot would be able to change or anything.

In fact, he would just lose time if he personally took care of him, so he decided to send him to the Blood Hall.

Those guys would certainly give him a good lesson, something that he wouldn't be able to forget for as long as he lived…
