Chapter 21：RLT (21)

After Alexei left, Izak sighs small and continues walking to the corporation with Alex.

~in his office~

"Wait.. is he the one Leon wants info on?" Alex asked Izak as he sat down on one of the chairs.

"Yup."

"And you plan on giving it to him?"

"Nope. Not the real one at least."

"Oh..."

"Don't worry. They won't find out until way later."

"Alright then."

Andrew was walking down the park and stopped by the lake when he saw Sasuko sitting against a tree, distant minded. Quietly, he walks up to her and gently taps her shoulder, snapping her back to reality. Sasuko looks up at him and smiles small.

"Hey there. How are you?" He asked, sitting next to her.

"I'm great. You?"

"Better now."

"Heh, so cheesy." Sasuko looks towards the lake.

"Was it really?" Andrew asked as he followed her gaze.

"Hm.. alright. Anyways, has the pain eased away?"

"Yes it has. Thanks a lot. I appreciate what you and Leon did."

Andrew smiles warmly and nodes small. "Anything for you, Princess."

Blushing lightly, Sasuko smiles small and remains silent. Andrew, feeling comfortable with the silence, calmly enjoyed the view. All that they were able to hear was the sound of the water, birds chirping, the light wind blowing, chatting of passing people, and their breathing.

Looking to the side, Andrew reaches over for a red rose. Carefully, he takes off the thorns from the stem and gives it Sasuko. Blushing, Sasuko takes it and smiles warmly.

Staring at the flower, Sasuko slightly whispers: "Not sure if I already told you, but roses are my favorite flower."

"Oh? Well, I guess I learned something new. I personally don't recall being told this. But.... aftet all, a big event just happened and we all are still recovering from it."

"True true. At least it's over and... I'm healing just fine. I wonder.. how Aoba is doing."

"He should be doing fine with his new lifestyle. Don't worry much, he is under my family's protection."

"Alright."

"... Do you ever plan on being in a relationship?"

"Well... I guess I do. But I don't think anytime soon. Unless I do.. then that would be a surprise."

"Heh, okay."

"What about you?"

"Hm... I suppose the same as you."

"Hm... okay. What type of girl are you into?"

"Girls like you - calm, lovingly, honest, crazy... - technically a bit of everything. I personally think that is what makes you very... hm.. unique. You aren't like any other girl I have met. You are not selfish at all."

"Wait.. how can you claim such thing about me? You hardly know me."

"Sasuko, I don't need to learn you completely to know something that little."

"Is... that so?"

"Yes."

"Hm... okay."

"Hey, can I do.. um... do something?"

"Something?.. Hold up, why are you asking??"

"Because what I want to do, I need your permission."

"But I don't know what that something is.."

"Trust me, you won't regret it."

"Oh?"

"Yup."

"Alright then, you have my permission to do what you want to do."
