Chapter 17:CHAPTER 17:

SHANA

It has been two months since I saw Colton. Our paths were never crossed again I make sure of it and it was a blessing on my side. I heard he needs to travel other countries for business related. I do not know when he will be back.

When I got a call from Jake that afternoon after talking to George, he told me if I knew Colton or met him personally.

I did not deny any of it to him and he relayed their conversation that he was looking for Zari and asked her phone number. I was glad that he did not sell me out to him about my number. I just told him not to give any information about me replacing Zari at that time because I am currently working in his company and my job will be compromise.

Jake agreed because it was his idea for that in the first place and I only did him a favor. Therefore, as of this time, I never go to work earlier. Instead of bring my car going to the company; I would rather walk from my home to my working place and vice versa.

Actually, it was not that far, it just 20 minutes walking and it is not dangerous to walk by myself because they were more people walking along the way.

I was so busy in the middle of my work when I felt something inside my stomach that I am about to vomit.

I stood up, opened the mini ref to grab some bottled water. I opened it and filled it into my mouth. I put the empty bottle into the trash bin.

I walked back to continue my work. It must been not eaten much during lunch that I feel hungry again.

I looked at the wall clock then it was almost 4:30 in the afternoon and I made my way out of my office. I need to grab some food for me to continue working tonight.

I have some stocks foods inside my mini ref but I want something else. I grabbed my purse and phone and headed out from my office.

"Ms. Shana, you seem you are going somewhere." I met Marissa as I went out.

"Well, I feel my stomach is hungry I ate a little during lunch." I said.

"Want me to buy for you? I will go grab some foods too." She offered and I smiled.

"Okay, that would be nice of you. I feel lazy going outside to be honest." I confessed because it was the truth I feel tired thinking about going to the coffee shop and I feel not feeling well.

"Okay, what do you want to buy for you?" she asked.

"Coffee and some blueberry cake and blueberry bread please and here's the money. Thank you Marissa." I gave her the money and then she left.

I went back to my office and sat on my chair. I feel like to vomit and I stood up and straight to the toilet inside my office.
