Chapter 335 - HAULER

Early the next day, Mu Lingxi and her friends woke up almost at the same time.

They do have a class to attend for that day, that was why they see to it that they would wake up as soon as the sun broke to the horizon

As part of his daily routine, Fan Lei started to open each of their windows to allow some fresh air to come in.

That was what he always do first thing in the morning.

This also made the first rays of the morning sun to filter their room, making it looked more lively and warm.

Mu Lingxi who sat at the upper deck of the bed that was positioned at the far left side of their room was the first one to receive the direct morning rays that of the sun.

She was busy wiping the sleepiness away from her eyes as the sun was sending its first rays through the open window.

Meanwhile, her cat Janus was also busy stretching his paws and crooked shanks as he bathed with the warm sunlight.

"MEOW"

[Being kissed by the sun first thing in the morning was indeed the best feeling ever! This is so refreshing, isn't it?]

The cute little black cat asked his master, to which the other party replied with a bright smile.

Said Mu Lingxi as she looked around the room ready to greet her other dormmates a pleasant morning.

But when her eyes landed at the bed opposite hers and saw that it was empty, a light crease appeared in her forehead.

"Is there anyone from you who had seen where Long Yue had been???"

Mu Lingxi asked the moment she realized that Long Yue's bed was empty and the other party was missing in action

Chan Gu and the others were still busy wiping the sleepiness away from their eyes when they heard Mu Lingxi's question

And as expected, Chan Gu and the rest of the squad were just equally as clueless as Mu Lingxi was.

In fact, it was only when their friend, Su Yan (Mu Lingxi) asked about Long Yue's whereabout did they realized that their other friend was indeed missing and nowhere to be found.

"Maybe he has gone out for a walk???"

"Are you saying Long Yue had gone for a jog early this morning?? That was quite impossible. It was not his style at all."

Yun Xue objected right away without much of a second thought.

To which his other friends also agreed readily without any hesitation.

Just like what Yun Xue said, jogging or getting fit early in the morning was not Long Yue's thing

Living together under the same roof for almost a year already, it could be said that they were at least have known the common likes and dislikes of one another as well as their hobbies.

From how they knew Long Yue, going out for a walk without asking any one of them was so unlike him at all.

Likewise, from how they had known Long Yue, he was also not someone who would leave without notice because he knew that if he did that, his friends would surely worry about him.

"I'm sure he left us a note somewhere."

Long Fuzi said with certainty.

He knew that Long Yue would do as much as that if he happened to leave early in the morning without prior notice.

Long Fuzi went on to check his brother's bed to see if he happened to left something for them

To which his effort, in the end, did not go to naught. Because apparently, just like what he expected, Long Yue indeed left a note for his friends.

Just in case they would come looking for him right after they woke up.

"Look, he left a note for us."

Long Fuzi exclaimed as he reached out his hand to pick the piece of paper left in his brother's bed.

But just when he was about to touch the letter, it started to whir into action!

It seemed that Long Yue's note was voice-activated and as soon as someone found it, it would be immediately activated

The enchanted letter started to move on its own and fold itself into different angles as if trying to transform into something else.

It continued to fold itself into different angles like a standalone origami for about 10 more seconds before it finally came to a halt.

"That was a hauler, I saw the spell for making that on our Black Magic book."

Fan Lei said when they finally saw the end product of the letter transformation.

What they were seeing before them was an origami art that resembled a mouth or a beak and it remained afloat in thin air all by itself without much of an effort.

When the hauler started to move its 'lips' up and down they heard Long Yue's voice on the background.

"Good morning guys, don't worry about me.  I just went to Schoolmaster Yin's office to check about something.

I think I was starting to hear things. Last night, I heard someone talking to me. But the problem is there was only me and Luna inside the folded space at that time!

That was why I decided to consult Schoolmaster Yin to see if he had any idea what was happening.  I think Luna was starting to talk to me. Can you believe that?! I guess you don't. Well, me either.

So I will talk to Schoolmaster Yin to see whether there was something wrong with Luna or I got some loose screws in my head, Hehe.

As soon as the Long Yue's last words faded in the background, he hauler started to burn itself.

Before Mu Lingxi and the others could even comprehend what they just heard the hauler was already reduced to ashes.

They stared at each other and saw the same confused reaction reflecting on each of their own faces.

"Ohh... poor Long Yue. I think he misses Luna a lot."

Chan Gu said in despondency. He could not help but feel sorry for his friend.

"Maybe he was too depressed by what happened."

Fan Lei seconded, they all feel sorry for that friend of theirs.

But Mu Lingxi and Janus had something different in their minds.

"Are you also thinking about what I am thinking????"

Mu Lingxi asked Janus through their mental link.

"MEOW"
