Wen Qinxi stewed on his couch ever since he left the office on Friday. He was literally growing roots on his comfy couch binge drinking, binge eating junk food while binge watching anime on Nflix. It was an all binge weekend only standing up to bath or receive his orders.
Let's not forget cursing out Qie Ranzhe every ten minutes. He even printed out an A4 picture of Qie Ranzhe he had taken off the company website and fired darts at it while chanting bad karma for his enemy. Why from the company website you might ask? Its because the dinosaur Qie Ranzhe had no social media accounts, not even a MySpace page.
"Haha, you fuckin dinosaur," chuckled Wen Qinxi when he was searching the web for Qie Ranzhe's social media accounts.
Monday had finally arrived with Wen Qinxi snoring in his couch in an awkward sleeping posture we dare not speak off. Face down with his buttocks sticking out was one of Wen Qinxi's weird sleeping habits. He only woke up when he slid off the couch with a loud thud falling straight to the ground.
"What the fuck, Aiyo...my poor butt!" he cursed while rubbing his sore parts. His hair dishellevelled and crusts in his almond shaped eyes, Wen Qinxi entered the bathroom to freshen up while scratching his belly that was forming a little pouch.
"Ah fuck, l am getting fat!," he yelled while looking down at his belly, " It's all Qie Ranzhe's fault. Ah!...I should stop eating takeout." He poured some water on his face before lazily cleansing it with some face wash. While roughly washing his face, he pondered on how he planned on spending his day.
He hadn't had a holiday in a long time and spent his public holidays doing work which his mother always scolded him for. "Whatever! l will just spend my day gaming or something," he said out loud while squatting some toothpaste on his electronic toothbrush but as soon as he placed the brush into his mouth he recalled something critical.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" he swore while running to his laptop hoping it wasn't too late. On Friday while running some tests, he discovered crucial flaws in the system that needed to be addressed before handing over the project otherwise there would be dire consequences. But he had forgotten to mention them as he was unexpectedly kicked out of the team before he could fix it.
He sent the email to the project manager with a detailed report on all the flaws that required fixing before the hand over. Of course, he knew telling the project manager would lead the man into stealing credit but people's lives were more important plus he could use this email record to get Qie Ranzhe's leniency. He just didn't inform them on how to fix it because he knew anyone with his basic qualifications could fix the problem.
Satisfied with the email, he sent it through before going back to the bathroom to finish off his daily routine. By ten in the morning, the nerd was all strapped up playing some online game with some of his hacker friends.
"Bruh, why the fuck you ditching a noob like me? l thought you said you would carry me!" yelled Wen Qinxi through his mic struggling to maneuver his game avatar.
"Grow lady parts then l will carry you, watch your six more boggies coming at you," replied player two running further away from him.
"Shit you guy-," said Wen Qinxi before he got disturbed by the beeping sound from his phone. He pressed down on his headsets instantly answering the call without taking his eyes off the monitor. "Sorry guys," he apologized before answering the call but forgot to turn off his mic in the game.
"Hey Wen Qinxi, the email you just sent me what's up with it? l thought everything on Flagship was running smooth," said the project manager in a scornful tone.
Wen Qinxi kept on playing while responding, "Noticed a problem on Friday, sort those out and it will be up and running in no time. Ah fuck l just died!"
"What?" asked the perplexed manager thinking this man is too vulgar.
"Oh sorry, was playing a game. Mm, fix it and it will be fine. Got to go," he replied hanging up the phone.
"Aren't you supposed to be at work? Why you asking him to fix it? Isn't Flagship your baby?" rumbled on a nosy player one.
"Oh snap, if he knew you called him that he would fire you on the spot!" said player three as they all burst out laughing at his misery but Wen Qinxi didn't find it funny in the least.

Somewhere in Gamex offices the manager was done talking to Wen Qinxi on the phone and turned to Xia Bai who was now taking lead in programming Flagship.
"Did you find what he was talking about?" asked the manager in a skeptical tone.
Xia Bai swung around on his office chair and shook his head, " Nope but if Wen Qinxi saw it then it must be there. His a god when it comes to this," he replied while turning back to his monitor, "Just bring him back so he can sort it out."
"Forget it, he's just causing trouble," said the manager before exiting the room.
"Well he's going to regret that," said Hei Bao the third programmer on the team. They both nodded in agreement, Wen Qinxi was indeed the best among them but his expertise was overshadowed by those stupid rumors.
Whoever started them wanted to sink Wen Qinxi's ship before it even set sail.
