"Congratulations on your third marriage. Hopefully, after this you won't fail again," said Dean, smiling warmly at Alex. He had arrived at the wedding party which was held in the ballroom of a famous hotel in Jakarta.
"This time I will continue to survive no matter what because the woman beside me is worth fighting for," said Alex with a smile then glanced at Anna who was blushing.
"Don't be rude to women..take care of her feelings and never try to double her or you will lose her. Your wife is your diamond, you will lose and regret if she leaves you because you don't make her comfortable," Bryana said in a slightly scathing tone, as if sarcastic about how Alex had treated himself in the past.
Alex smiled glancing at Bryana who still looked to hate him. He embraced Anna from the side and looked at her intensely. "This time I will not waste my wife. Because she is very good and perfect as a wife and mother to Calvin and Haikal."
"Oh yes...Calvin will also feel raised by a new mother. Where is he now?" Bryana asked, glancing through the crowd.
"He's in the room with Haikal and my family," Alex replied. "I hope, you will allow him to be with me for a few days. I promise to take her to your house again when my family returns to London," he continued hopefully.
"A few days?" Bryana looked displeased.
Dean glanced at Bryana and blinked his eyes as if to give a sign that everything would be fine.
"Maybe only three days...I promise not to provoke or make him dislike living with you," Alex explained reassuringly.
Bryans sighed. "Okay then, but I'll ask Louis to always be by his side. It's a condition because I'm afraid you'll take him away," she exclaimed a bit curtly.
Dean just shook his head because Bryana was overprotective. But it must have been due to trauma from previous events.
"Yes. It doesn't matter," Alex said casually.
Bryana turned to greet Anna and then Dean asked her to sit down for a while enjoying the musical entertainment available on the short stage available in the ballroom. They sat on chairs covered by red cloth occasionally greeting some guests who knew them.
Dean got him and Bryana champagne. "You must be thirsty."
"I just want orange juice." Bryana refuses.
"Why?" Dean frowned. "You usually drink champagne at parties."
"Yes ... But this time I just want orange juice," said Bryana.
Dean immediately replaced the champagne with orange juice, then sat back with Bryana while looking at Alex who was now dancing in the middle of the ballroom to the accompaniment of Shane Filan's song, Beautiful in White.
"They hit it off and Alex seems happy," Dean muttered.
Bryana remains silent. She glanced at the clock on her phone, it was eight o'clock. "Looks like we have to go now."
"Go?" Dean turned to look at Bryana.
Bryana just nodded, raising an eyebrow...
"We just got here a few minutes ago and I thought we could dance with them ... we haven't eaten and met Calvin either," Dean said, looking at Bryana in surprise.
Bryana sighed looking at Dean who was reluctant to leave. "Didn't I promise to date you? If not now, then when?"
"Alright then, we'll go now." Finally, Dean agreed. He immediately asked Bryana to say goodbye to Alex and Anna and then walked out of the building.
as soon as she got outside in the parking lot, Bryana held out her hand to Dean. "Tonight I want to drive."
"You?"
"Yes. Bring the car keys here," said Bryana.
With all the doubts in his heart and curious about Bryana's a little strange behavior tonight, Dean handed Bryana his car keys saying, "Don't be too fast."
"Take it easy...I was quite good at driving before marrying you," Bryana said with a casual smile, opening the car door at the steering wheel.
Dean immediately got into the car and sat beside Bryana. He was a little hesitant because, during his marriage, this was the first time his wife had driven his sports car. .'What exactly is she planning?' he thought.
From a distance, just outside the hotel area, Gio and his two friends rode a jeep following Dean's car who had just left the hotel area. They followed at a distance so as not to be suspicious.
"We just need to know where they're going to stop and park the car," Gio muttered with his eyes focused on Dean's car that was traveling at a fairly high speed.
"Don't worry, we won't lose track because I've also attached GPS to the car," said a man who was Gio's colleague. The man had a typical Indonesian face and was about 25 years old.
"Don't let them fail because this is our only chance to make them disappear from this world!" said Gio ambitiously.
"Everything will go according to plan and neither you nor your brother's revenge will be avenged." The man turned to look at me and smiled reassuringly.
Gio nodded his head and stared at Dean and Bryana's car imagining they would crash and then disappear from this world. Ah, what kind of crime is he going to commit?
___
"Honey, don't be too fast!" cried Dean, clinging tightly to the chair.
"Don't worry, I'm already proficient. We'll be there in a minute," said Bryana, smiling at the frightened Dean.
Dean chose to remain silent even though his heart seemed to be about to burst because Bryana was driving at high speed snaking past other vehicles.
until a few minutes later, Bryana finally stopped the car right at the basement of an apartment building with a modern white design that dominates, glowing with orange lights. They immediately got out of the car and walked towards the main door.
"Apartments..." Dean muttered.
"My private apartment," said Bryana who walked with her left arm wrapped around Dean's right arm who accompanied his rarity.
"Since when do you have an apartment here?" asked Dean in surprise.
"When doesn't matter," Bryana replied casually. ." Most importantly, now that we go in and . . . date," she continued with an amused smile.
Dean smiled with a happy hue on his face. "Alright. I'll follow all of this because I'm very curious about this date you've prepared."
"It should. .because if you go home, you won't know what a cool surprise I gave you."
"You're making me even more curious!" Dean pinched Bryana's nose.
Bryana just chuckled until she had arrived at the elevator without realizing it. .he immediately invited Dean to come in and pressed the button for the 14th floor, then the elevator closed again.
"Very high," Dean muttered.
"To be more comfortable," said Bryana with a smile, leaning her head on Dean's shoulder.
.Dean smiled glancing at Bryana then kissed his lips. "You look so beautiful tonight."
"Because it's a special night."
"But now is not your birthday, not your birthday, and not our wedding anniversary." Dean was surprised.
Bryana let out a rough breath. "because the special doesn't always have to be on a birthday."
The elevator doors opened, Dean and Bryana immediately walked out of the elevator. they walked down the milk-chocolate corridor until briano stopped at a door. Then he took out a card from his bag. The woman used the card as access to open the door.
Beep... Beep
Open door. .bryana immediately invited Dean to enter and walk through the room in the metallic apartment with luxurious furniture until he stopped at Asia, a room that was quite spacious.
.dean smiled seeing the bed with white sheets sprinkled with red rose petals and there was a tray containing some dinner menus and a small red box with a white ribbon to tie the box.
Bryana walked to pull Dean to the bed and invited him to sit on the edge. She took a deep breath then exhaled slowly, looking up at her husband who was smiling at her.
"This is our date? Eating in bed?" Dean asked, raising his eyebrows and smiling warmly.
"Yes..but ... There's this for you," Bryana replied then took the small box, then gave it to Dean.
