Chapter 386 - Thinking About Giving Birth

Six months passed...

Dean has fully recovered after undergoing therapy and following the doctor's advice. Even though he has recovered, the man is mostly working at home. Moreover, now Bryana is approaching the time of giving birth. so he worked from home while monitoring his wife's condition.

Vania and Max live in Lampung. They do not live together but in a rented side by side because they do not want to be gossiped about by the neighbors who live around their rented house. although they could have lied to the residents that they were husband and wife, Max didn't do that because he didn't want to make Vania uncomfortable.

Max works in a car repair shop and pays for all of Vania's needs while Vania focuses on taking care of her child. the woman always cooks food to be delivered to Max's rent every day, even their relationship is getting closer but has no clarity.

Elsa continues to be Carlos' wife even though she knows that her husband is having an affair with a woman named Veronica who still lives in the apartment. She acts as if she doesn't know because she is also enjoying her affair with Johan without Carlos knowing it. the woman is often making out in the room with the bodyguard when her husband doesn't come home at night. That's crazy like a bitch.

Ever since Vania disappeared, Carlos has turned his attention closer to Veronica because he no longer cares about Elsa's defiant attitude and remains a model for adult magazines. He already knows the whereabouts of Vania and Max but chooses to remain silent because he is disappointed and also feels he has no right to control Vania's life because, in reality, he is the one who always plays with fire.

It's 9 p.m., Dean is working late in his office at home. He was busy checking files on his laptop while Bryana accompanies him by lying on the sofa using a pillow as a backrest. The man was wearing a gray sweater combined with navy blue jogger pants and wearing anti-radiation glasses.

"Honey, you'd better move to your room. I'll be finished soon and will follow you," Dean exclaimed, looking at Bryana who looked restless in a blue knee-length dress with open sleeves. Her belly was already so big, like a balloon about to explode because the baby was almost born in a few days.

"No, I'll be waiting for you," Bryana said without turning around. she focuses on watching videos of babies on her phone and plugs a headset into her tummy playing nursery rhymes and holy songs. That said, it can make the baby in her belly calm.

Dean sighed then closed his laptop after turning it off. He took off his glasses and turned to his wife. The man sat beside his wife's belly and removed the plugged headset.

"Let's go to the room. You need to rest a lot because we don't know when you think you will give birth," Dean said patiently.

"I won't be able to sleep at this hour," Bryana said, holding out her hand to place her phone on the glass table beside the sofa. She turned to rub her distended belly and was tense from moving around a lot. "Look, it moves a lot and looks like it's filling my belly..it feels very congested. How can I sleep so soon?"

"Patience ... soon you can breathe a sigh of relief after it's born," Dean said, rubbing Bryana's bloated belly and then leaning down to kiss her. "Pebble, you need to calm down, so mommy won't have trouble sleeping again."

Bryana smiled amusedly looked at Dean who kissed and stroked her belly covered in clothes. "I can't wait. I want to see it like me or like you."

"Me too. But..." Dean looked uneasy.

"But what?" Bryan asked.

"Are you sure you will choose a normal birth process?" Dean even asked back while remembering the last check-up, Bryana consulted an obstetrician and decided to give birth normally.

"Of course I'm sure," Bryana replied casually.

"I'm scared."

"Why are you scared? Do you doubt my abilities?" Bryana asked with an eyebrow raised.

Dean just nodded.

Bryana took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly, trying to loosen her tight breath. "Calm down. .the doctor said I was quite healthy and the pebble position was perfect for a vaginal birth."

"But this is the first time you've given birth normally... I'm afraid you won't be able to," Dean said sadly. the moment of giving birth, always scared her when she remembered the birth of Sofia and Aidyn which made him cry in fear.

"This is the last time I'm pregnant. I want to give birth normally because babies are born the way they are made, and as a woman, we should give birth normally as long as there are no problems," Bryana explained with confidence she looked down at Dean who was embracing her belly, then brushed his hair which was a bit long because he hadn't shaved. "You just pray, may God give safety to me and our children later."

Dean just nodded but still looked scared. he was still holding a bulging belly, wondering if it was a boy or a girl because he couldn't deny that his greatest wish was to have a baby girl from Bryana.

The door to the room opened. Dean and Bryana saw the figure who came was a boy about three years old with a chubby face with thick hair with bangs. Of course, it was Aidyn who looked more and more like Dean.

"Hey, boy...why haven't you slept yet?" asked Dean, smiling at Aidyn's arrival.

"Uh, tonight I'm going to sleep in the tent," Aidyn replied in his cute voice. He glanced at his mother's belly and then kissed it passionately many times.

"Tents? where are the tents anyway?" Bryana asked, frowning.

"Calvin and Sofia have just made a tent in their room. I will sleep with Calvin," said Aidyn seriously.

Dean nodded in understanding then asked, "do you want Daddy to read a fairy tale to you in the tent?"

Aidin shook his head. "I just want Daddy to buy a smaller tent for me. So I don't disturb Calvin," he said.

Dean smiled warmly then stroked Aidyn's thick hair. "Okay, tomorrow we go to the mall to buy a new tent for you."

"Don't just buy one but two, because pebble will also need a tent when was born. It will sleep in a tent," cried Aidyn, who was ready to become an older sister.

Bryana chuckled amused then kissed her slightly chubby cheek. "Do you love Pebble?" She asked.

"I love it," replied Aidyn again kissing his mother's belly.

"Do you think it is a girl or a boy like you?" this time it was Dean who asked.

Aidyn thought for a moment then touched her mother's belly. "I thought, it's a little girl. And can accompany Sofia to play."

"Hopefully what you think is true," said Bryana then glanced at Dean. "Because Daddy wants a little girl."

"I can't deny that I want it," said Dean without being hypocritical anymore, but male or female he would accept it. Ah, I hope it's a girl so that Bryana doesn't get pregnant all the time and they have more children.
