Chapter 59 - Gift

After bathing the kids, then having breakfast together, Dean and Bryana were currently in the study with Stevan. They sat on the cream-colored sofa sipping a hot cup of tea and were about to discuss whatever Stevan was going to discuss.

Stevan got up from the sofa and took a document from the drawer of Bryana's desk, then returned to carry it to the sofa. He sat back down and gave the document to Dean.

"Sign the document, Dean. I hope you don't disappoint me," exclaimed Stevan, his gaze flat.

Bryana frowned at her father. "What do you mean? What should Dean do for dad?"

"Let your husband read the contents of that document first, don't think badly of daddy,"

cried Stevan, glancing in surprise at Bryana, who might think he was going to make Dean uncomfortable or anything that would make Dean displeased with her.

"Let me read first," said Dean, glancing at Bryana. He immediately opened the document and read it.

In the document, it was written that Dean had to help Bryana in managing the company. Dean is also entitled to use Bryana's facilities ranging from luxury cars, money, and whatever Bryana's property also belongs to Dean as long as they are legally a husband and wife.

"The meaning of managing a company, I don't understand." Dean put the document on the table, but Bryana who sat beside him immediately took it and read it.

"You become the CEO of Bryana's company. I don't want Bryana to work too hard, because she already has a husband, which is you. Show your responsibility as a husband by protecting and maintaining Bryana's company properly, even developing it." Stevan explained firmly

Bryana also put a smile on her lips. "I agree."

"But I can not. I will not be able to carry out a mandate of this magnitude," said Dean huffily and remembering who he was before marrying Bryana. "I also don't want people to see me as just living comfortably with Bryana.

Bryana sighed while glancing at Dean who was again being insecure.

Stevan looked at the always humble Dean. "Dean, I'm sure you can. Haven't you also studied business and management?"

"Your lost diploma, not your ability. I am sure you can carry out this mandate because it is mandatory as Bryana's husband." Stevan emphasized.

"Father is right. You must be able to carry out this mandate. I'm going to keep my part and we'll work together to build the future of the company," Bryana said confidently. She liked her father's actions because Dean deserved them.

"But, Jill ... everyone must think I married you just to take advantage of you and take your property. I better just remain your bodyguard," said Dean still with low self-esteem.

"Don't listen to what people say, because the fact is you have a big responsibility to protect and providing for Bryana. It would be more embarrassing if Bryana kept making you a bodyguard. You will be looked down even more like a man." Stevan continued to persuade. he took a glass of his tea, then drank it little by little.

Bryana looked at Dean who was sitting beside her, then said, "please. Accept this position as your responsibility as my husband. show that you are worthy of me, able to take care of me and make me happy.

"What if I'm stupid in controlling your company? I'm not at all inexperienced, honey." Dean spoke softly.

"You can. I'll teach you," Bryana said firmly.

steven stared at Dean who was hard to convince. "Imagine, Dean. By now Bryana has taken care of Calvin, will take care of Sofia. And if Bryana gets pregnant again, are you going to let her keep working hard at the office?"

Dean paused for a moment and remembered that both Sofia and Calvin were very spoiled for Bryana. Even though there are baby sisters, his wife is still a mother who is obliged to pay attention to them. And if she gets pregnant again, he won't be able to let her think about a lot of work. No, that can't be because he promised to make her happy.

"How about it, Dean?" asked Stevan with a wry smile. He was so relaxed, in contrast to Bryana who was even worried.

"I will carry out this mandate," said Dean, then took the document and signed it with the pen provided in it.

Bryana smiled with relief and hugged Dean without caring that his father was there. "Thank you, honey. I'm sure you can."

Dean nodded and immediately let go of Bryana's hug with a relieved smile because Bryana looked very happy.

After the conversation, Stevan provided facilities ranging from cars, credit cards, and anything that Dean would use for his daily needs in regular activities or at work.

During the day, Dean and Bryana took short naps until two in the afternoon. The man remembered that he had to prepare a beautiful surprise for his delayed first night with his wife, he immediately got out of bed and got ready to leave.

Dean walked to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. after that, he walked to the walk-in closet to change clothes because he had been wearing only a thin t-shirt and shorts.

Bryana, who realized Dean wasn't there, woke up. She got out of bed and glanced around the room and found her husband was walking out of the walk-in closet wearing blue jeans paired with a white t-shirt and wearing a leather jacket.

"Where are you going?" Bryana asked as she walked over to Dean.

"Didn't I tell you this morning that I'm going to Mother's house? I'll be there right now before you wait too long." Dean smiled at Bryana, who still looked beautiful even though she just woke up and only wore a thin red dress with no cloth on her arms.

"Can I come?" Bryana asked.

"No need. You just stay home with our kids and rest," Dean exclaimed, then brought his face close to Bryana's ear. "You have to prepare a lot of energy for me tonight. So, you better stay at home."

Bryana immediately blushed with a smile on her lips. she was already wondering what Dean would do to her tonight.

"Stay home and I'll be back in time," Dean shouted and then kissed Bryana on the forehead. "I'm leaving now."

"Be careful," Bryana exclaimed as she tiptoed over to kiss Dean's lips which made her addicted to wanting to kiss him again and again.

When it was four o'clock in the afternoon, Dean stopped his car in the front yard of a minimalist house with a European style that looked different from the surrounding houses. he got out of his car and opened the trunk to retrieve some items that he bought at the mall before arriving at the house.

Dean walked towards the main door of the house which was painted white with silver walls while carrying a large bag and several paper bags. he laid the groceries on the floor while his hands fumbled for the keys in the pocket of his leather jacket.

After getting the key, Dean immediately opened the door and brought the groceries into the house that looked simple with makeshift facilities. Antique wooden chairs and tables, white cupboards, and the door leading to the room and living room were only closed by curtains.

Dean immediately swept the entire floor of the house, then put up a mosquito net in the shape of a white curtain that will hang on an antique wooden fork attached to the bed. she put up plain white sheets, pillowcases, and even sprinkled red rose to form a heart in the middle of the bed. He also sprayed the distinctive scented perfume of lovemaking around the room.

After decorating the bed, Dean prepared a bottle of champagne and a beautiful glass that he had bought earlier by placing it on a table with two chairs, about three meters from the bed. He also prepared some snacks and cakes to accompany the drink. not forgetting also he installed a chandelier in several corner points of the room, then put scented candles and roses into the center of the table.

"Hopefully, she would like it," murmured Dean as he rubbed his sweaty forehead due to the activity of decorating the room and cleaning the minimalist house. He also took off his top clothes because it was hot, then continued his activities.

After cleaning and decorating the room, Dean went to the kitchen to put some groceries in the cupboard, then cleaned the bathroom near the kitchen.

At home, Bryana was accompanying Calvin and Sofia who were playing in a special playroom available upstairs to be precise next to Calvin's room. Lauren was there too, feeling better after taking Louis's medicine.

from time to time, Bryana glanced at her smartphone, which was on the table. "What is he doing? Is it possible that he will also meet Kareen?"

Bryana is worried because Dean hasn't called her at all since earlier. but who would have thought, her smartphone suddenly rang and she rushed to take the smartphone and saw an incoming call from Soraya?

"Huh, she's not what I expected." Bryana chuckled annoyed, then answered the call from her best friend. "Hello, Soraya."

"Hello, newlyweds who does your voice sound harsh? Didn't your first night go well?" Soraya immediately rushed over to Bryana with a question over the phone.

"It's very smooth because we slept four of us and now Dean is leaving the house," Bryana said while glancing at Sofia and" Calvin, who was showing up with Lauren.

"Hahahaha? It's a pity, but I'm sure that tonight you will have your first night. and I've sent a special gift for you.

"What gift?" Bryana frowned.

''Just wait, maybe it will arrive soon. My driver had already left for your house to deliver the gift."

Bryana sighed, then got off the sofa. She walked over to the glass window and looked outside. "I think your driver is here."

"Then hurry up and take the gift from me, I'll turn off the phone first. Bye ... bye ..."

The telephone line was cut off. Bryana immediately pocketed her smartphone into her blazer pocket, then walked over to Calvin and Sofia. "Dear, you two with aunty Lauren. Mommy has to go out to meet guests."

"Yes, Mom," said Sofia and Calvin simultaneously.

Bryana immediately walked out of the playroom, headed straight to the ground floor by descending the stairs. She saw that in the livingSusan was walkingalking from the living room, carryinmaroon-coloredolored boxes with a white ribbon on the lid.

"Ma'am, there is a gift from your friend." Susan approached Bryana, who was almost on the ground floor.

"Ah, yes. Earlier she told me by telephone." Bryana grabbed a limedium-sizedum sized gift.

"Is the driver who delivered this gift still here?"

"He came straight home, ma'am," Susan explained.

Bryana nodded in understanding. "Yes, then, I'll go to the room first."

Susan nodded, while Bryan immediately went back up the stairs to the top floor and entered her room, which was adjacent to Calvin's room.

"What coulBryanae in?" Bryana stared at the gift box until she reached the bed and imm sat herself there. She immediately opened the box and saw a black lacy lingerie suit with a very thin cloth.

"Oh my God. How crazy Soraya, why even give gifts like this?" Bryana shook her head, then glanced back at the gift box which still contained one mo present in a white plastic.

"What's this again?" Bryana opened the plastic and saw a milk powder packaging box with a picture of a macho man and a horse that looked so sexy.

"Oh my God.. She gave a gift for wild horse milk instead? Who's going to drink it?" Bryana shook her head again because the gift raya was really far from her expectations.
