Chapter 89 - Back To Home

The next day

Bryana and Dean are on their way home. They had gotten off the plane and immediately took a taxi to go home without giving any news first. it was all according to Bryana's wish, who wanted to surprise Calvin and Sofia, who must have been waiting for their arrival.

Dean fell asleep by leaning his head on Bryana's shoulder. the man looked a little tired because before returning to Jakarta, he had to buy a toy that Calvin ordered. It turns out that the toy is very hard to find, and only exists in the largest shopping mall in Australia.

After almost an hour's journey, the taxi finally stopped. Bryana immediately woke up Dean who was still asleep.

"Honey, wake up. We're here," she exclaimed as she patted Dean on the cheek.

Slowly Dean opened his eyes and lifted his head from Bryana's shoulder. He squinted at the outside through the windshield.

"We've arrived, let's go down. Later you can sleep again in the room," Bryana exclaimed while staring at Dean who was still very sleepy.

Dean nodded and immediately opened the car door, as did Bryana who also opened the door and got out. the taxi driver took out a large suitcase from the trunk and a large box that probably contained a toy of Calvin and Sofia.

"The bodyguards have increased," Bryana muttered when she saw that on the terrace there were bodyguards guarding their faces that looked foreign to her.

"Maybe it's Raymond's new bodyguard," said Dean. He immediately led Bryana into the house while the suitcase and large boxes were carried by the bodyguard who swiftly helped carry them.

When they just arrived on the terrace, Bryana and Dean were greeted by Calvin and Sofia who ran from the direction of the living room. They seemed happy to see their parents suddenly come home.

"Mommy!" Calvin hugged Bryana, then kissed her cheek as if he hadn't seen each other in a century.

"Daddy, I thought you would be home a little later," muttered Sofia, who was now in Dean's arms.

"Mommy wants to come home, she said she missed you," said Dean, smiling warmly at Bryana, who was now squatting in front of Calvin.

"Mommy can't stay away from you for long," Bryana said with a smile.

Dean rose to his feet again and invited his wife and children to immediately enter the house. His drowsiness suddenly disappeared because he saw the children who were very enthusiastic about his arrival.

Arriving in the living room, Bryana and Dean sat on the sofa. They showed them the cardboard toys their children had ordered.

"This is for Calvin, and this is for Sofia," said Dean while giving a 50 cm box to Calvin, then gave a box the same size as Calvin to Sofia.

"What's this, Mom?" asked Sofia.

"Just open it," Bryana exclaimed with a smile.

Sofia also opened the box, as did Calvin. Dean and Bryana looked at the two boys with warm smiles, it seemed, sooner to come back was more of a relief for them. Having fun with the kids is more memorable. About the making out, they can just stay in the room later.

"Woww, that's amazing. This is Captain America!" Calvin stared at a toy in the form of a miniature Captain America that could beep and walked using the remote control.

"This is Elsa, it's good and be able to walk too," muttered Sofia with a smile staring at the miniature Frozen animated character Bryana had bought her.

"Do you like it?" Bryana asked, raising an eyebrow.

Calvin and Sofia nodded too, but they glanced toward the living room as if waiting for something. wow, maybe they are waiting for the baby promised by their parents?

"Where's the baby?" asked Calvin innocently.

Sofia also asked, "Isn't it done yet?"

Suddenly Dean suppressed his laughter by covering his mouth, while Bryana leaned back on the sofa holding her forehead. "Oh my God. What do I have to answer," she softly.

"Our baby is not yet finished," shouted someone from the dining room. it was Raymond who walked together with Kareen hand in hand. They appear to be still wearing work clothes. Raymond wore a black tuxedo without a tie, while Kareen wore a black knee-length dress combined with a cream top and ponytailed her long hair.

Bryana squinted at Kareen who was smiling awkwardly at her. "Kareen. Are you here?"

"I asked her to accompany the kids to play. Incidentally, the work is over," said Raymond while inviting Kareen to sit on the sofa opposite Bryana and Dean.

"You ...." Bryana stares in surprise at Raymond who is close to Kareen even still holding her hand. Dean was also surprised when the children chose to play with their new toy.

"We're dating," Raymond says with a smile glancing at Kareen.

Kareen nodded, while Bryana and Dean looked surprised by the surprising relationship.

"Wait ... Since when are you dating?" Bryana looked incredulous. how could it be that this quickly Raymond made Kareen his girlfriend, while only a few days Raymond with Kareen in the company? This is too fast for Bryana, who doesn't like Kareen.

"Since last night. And I want to marry her someday," said Raymond.

"Maybe you object to this relationship, but ...." Kareen tried to speak in her pretentious manner.

"But you won't be able to get in the way of our relationship," exclaimed Raymond who continued Kareen's words.

Dean who had been silent had a smile on his lips. he was happy that Kareen was hooking up with Raymond, it meant that Kareen wouldn't be chasing him anymore.

"Hopefully your relationship will last up to the level of marriage," he said.

Bryana glanced at Dean, who was different from her. Her mood suddenly deteriorated and she immediately got up from the sofa, then walked to the stairs that led to the top floor. That woman must be very upset.

Dean looked uncomfortable with Raymond or Kareen about Bryana's attitude. "Em, I have to catch up with her," he said.

Raymond nods to let Dean catch up with Bryana, while Kareen looks agitated and bends her face.

"Look, Mrs. Bryana doesn't like our relationship," Kareen exclaimed curtly.

"She's just in shock. I make sure she will accept you as a future sister-in-law," Raymond said confidently. He remembered how Kareen called Bryana still like a secretary to her boss.

"Don't call her 'Mrs. Bryana' anymore. She is your future sister-in-law," he exclaimed.

"I don't know. I'm uncomfortable." Kareen looked away, staring at Sofia and Calvin, who were playing on the floor on the red carpet in front of the 32-inch TV that wasn't on.

"Honey," Raymond calls out as he touches Kareen's smooth cheek which makes his lover stare at him. "Trust me, she will accept you and you will be sister-in-law who gets along."

"Yes, I hope it can." Kareen got up from the sofa while carrying her small bag which she always carried with her. "I must go back to the apartment now."

"I'll take you," Raymond said as he stood up.

Kareen didn't respond.. She walked out of the house across the living room followed by Raymond.
