Chapter 135 - Happy Birthday Daddy

At seven o'clock at night, Dean just arrived home with Kareen and Monica who immediately walked to their respective rooms. The man walked towards the stairs and was immediately confronted by Calvin and Sofia.

"Dad, come with us to the park," Calvin called, looking up at his father.

"Daddy must take a shower first, son," said Dean showing his tired face.

Sofia immediately grabbed her father's hand. "Ah, just take a shower later. Daddy has to come with us!"

Dean was forced to follow where Sofia pulled him while Calvin again blocked.

"Stop! Daddy must wear an eye patch," Calvin exclaimed as he took a red-eye patch from the pocket of his jeans.

"Oh yeah, I forgot," Sofia said then pulled her father to squat. "Daddy has to wear this first!"

Dean was forced to crouch down and Sofia immediately put the blindfold on by wrapping it around his head and tying it a little tighter.

"Gosh, what exactly are you guys going to do?" Dean chuckled wondering what Calvin and Sofia were going to show him. he couldn't look around anymore because the blindfold had covered his eyes.

Calvin and Sofia told Dean to get back up and lead him to the garden beside the house through the side door near the pool.

Bryana was already in the garden waiting by sitting on a chair. She immediately stood up when she saw Dean coming with his eyes closed and being led by Calvin and Sofia.

Bryana lit candle number 28 stuck in the cake which Sofia decorated with chocolate cream and sprinkles of cheese and chocolate chips, then brought it in front of Dean, who still hadn't opened his blindfold.

Calvin climbed into the chair and removed the blindfold, while Sofia and Bryana immediately sang in front of Dean until Calvin joined in.

"Happy Birthday to you ... Happy Birthday to you ... Happy Birthday dear Daddy ... happy Birthday to you ...,"

Calvin and Sofia cheered and clapped their hands while Bryana smiled so sweetly seeing Dean's face that he was still impressed by this surprise.

Dean was silent but smiled with a happy hue on his handsome face. he still did not expect there to be such a festive surprise whereas this morning when he left for work, there had been no preparation at all.

"Honey, did you prepare all this?" asked Dean then glanced around the candlelights adorned with some ornamental plants, then glanced at the dining table where several food menus were neatly arranged and there was a red candle on a small white cup.

"Yeah, but I'm helped by the kids and the workers in this house," Bryana replied then glanced at the candle that had almost melted on the cake. "Now you make a wish, then blow out the candles," she exclaimed.

dean sighed, then closed his eyes and put his hand to his chest for a moment. After he finished making a wish to God, He immediately blew out the candle.

"Yeah...Happy Birthday, dad!" Sofia exclaimed with a cheerful smile, then wrapped her arms around her father's waist from the right.

Calvin also hugged his father from the left and said, "Happy Birthday, dad!"

Bryana smiled amused seeing Calvin and Sofia who were so compact and loved Dean as a very loving father figure.

"Thank you, daddy loves you all very much." dean looked down and kissed Calvin and Sofia's forehead, then stood back up looking at Bryana, and said, "Thanks for the surprise. You are the perfect wife and mother that God gave me. I love you."

"I love you too," Bryan replied.

dean also kissed Bryana's forehead lovingly while being watched by Calvin and Sofia. After that Bryana invited them to sit slicing cakes together, then eating the dishes that she had prepared so had to work hard in the kitchen since noon, then arrange the garden decorations with the bodyguards and other workers.

"I'm so happy," Dean mumbled, smiling at Calvin and Sofia, who were gorging themselves on the cake. "Seeing a complete family like this, has been my dream for a long time. You guys help and love each other, making me the luckiest father in the world."

"This is all because you love and protect us all. Seeing you happy always by our side, we will always be happy," said Bryana then fed Dean with the steak she cooked.

"It feels so special," Dean muttered with a smile.

"I beat the meat before it was baked," Sofia said with her mouth still eating the cake.

"Oh?" Dean glared at Sofia.

Sofia nodded then Bryana explained, "It was Sofia who helped me since earlier. She even decorated this cake to make it very sweet and cool. She said she used to always make cakes with her grandma when it was your birthday."

Dean smirked and nodded his head. "Yes, it's true.. my birthday is always celebrated with only two people, they are mommy and Sofia." Dean turned to look at Bryana, then clasped his left hand.

"And right now I'm very happy because my birthday feels more complete because of you, Calvin, and even our future children will feel our happiness." Dean turned to touch Bryana's belly. "May he or she always be healthy."

"It's very healthy, you don't have to worry. I'm not weak like before," cried Bryana with a smile so sweet with her face so beautiful and graceful. Ah, she looks so much more charming tonight, until Dean kissed her cheek again and again because he was too excited.

"You are the perfect wife for me."

Bryana sighed, then glanced at her watch which showed the time was 07:30 pm. "I asked Louis to pick someone up," she said.

"Who?" asked Dean.

"Mommy, so that our family feels more complete," answered Bryana. "I have also ordered food via delivery order to eat with all the residents in this house."

"Really?" Dean looked even more impressive.

"Yeah," said Bryan, with a satisfied smile.

"I also have a present for daddy," Calvin said, then reached into his trouser pocket for a neatly folded piece of paper. He got down from the chair and handed the paper to his father.

"What is this?" Dean asked with a smile.

"That's Our future," Calvin replied with an amused smile. then sat back in his chair.

Dean smiled and looked at Bryana who shook her head while shrugging her shoulders.

"Just open it," Bryana shouted.

Dean unfolded the paper and saw that there was an image of a pencil scribbled in brown. The picture shows a father figure, a mother barking a bald baby, a boy, and a girl besides her.

"Haha... why the baby doesn't have hair?" asked Dean with an amused chuckle.

"Because I don't know if it's a boy or a girl," Calvin answered innocently.

"But boy and girl also have hair," said Sofia, not accepting that her future younger sibling was drawn bald. "I'll draw the one with the hair later."

Bryan saw the results of Calvin's drawing which was not too bad and smiled amusedly. "But it's cool. At least it's a picture of our future to come."

"Yes, Calvin has drawn it and we have to reach it," said Dean then kissed Bryana's cheek passionately.

from a distance, Kareen was standing by beside the pool watching Dean and Bryana together with their kids. Envy, resentment, and jealousy overcame her heart, making her unable to stop wanting to destroy their happiness.

"Look, they are not affected by all your efforts to destroy their harmony. Better stop being jealous, because it will only lead you astray in meaningless hatred," said Monica who came and stood beside Kareen.

"Are you mocking me? Look, I will never let a cousin like you be happy too. You're supporting someone else over me, what a disappointment." Kareen looked at Monica furiously then walked towards the house in annoyance.

Monica let out a shaky breath. She shook her head in surprise at Kareen's stubbornness. "Foolish bastard!"

Because she doesn't want to fight with Kareen in the house, Monica finally catches up with Bryana and joins them.. She became an impromptu photographer to photograph Dean and Bryana together with Calvin and Sofia.
