Tonight, after a day of searching for things to bring to Monica's house as gifts for the engagement, Bryana and Dean finally arrived in Bandung with Raymond, Lily, the kids, and a group of maids and bodyguards who always guard them.
The group wore clothes of the same color and the same motifs, namely black batik with gold motifs.
They were warmly welcomed by Monica's family. Bryana and several maids immediately gave gifts containing various kinds of jewelry, make-up equipment, clothes, footwear, and several kinds of cakes and fruit. All neatly and beautifully arranged in a transparent box decorated with a white gold ribbon.
After shaking hands, Raymond and Dean Bryana, and Lily sat on the brown-white sofa while the kids and others sat on the living room sofa because they didn't want to disturb the main agenda of the engagement.
"Where's Monica?" Raymond whispered to Bryana who was sitting beside him.
"Must still be in the room to make up. She must be very beautiful," said Bryana with a smile.
"Let's just wait, his mother is picking her up," Dean exclaimed, glancing at Bryana and Raymond while Lily sat casually as the oldest person Raymond considered a mother.

In the room, Monica already looks so stunning in a gold-colored dress with love-patterned beads on the entire surface of the dress with a slit on the thigh. she also curled her hair up a little, wore a butterfly-shaped hair clip, and polished her face with a bit of make-up.
Monica glanced at the open door to her room. She got up from the dressing table chair and walked over to her mother, who also came up to her.
"Has he arrived, Mom?" she asked.
"Yes, your future husband is very handsome. I just found out that he is a Caucasian and from a conglomerate circle, why didn't you tell me?" The middle-aged woman who was around 50 years old protested at her daughter.
"I also never thought that I would immediately propose, we're not dating," explained Monica.
"Come on, let's go out. He's been waiting for you, even a beautiful woman who is pregnant also comes here. Who is she?" Monica's mother took her out of the room asking questions.
"She must be Bryana, Raymond's sister," Monica explained as she walked out of the room and down the stairs to the living room.
She suddenly trembled with his heart pounding as Raymond smiled from a distance looking at her. His future husband was so handsome in a black batik shirt with gold motifs, combined with black basic pants and combing his hair in a pompadé style, his beard was even shaved a bit thin and neat.
"Come on," whispered Monica's mother.
Monica resumed walking with a shy smile at Raymond and the others. She sat on the right side of his father and his mother sat on another sofa.
"Eghhmm....." Monica's father began to speak.
"So what's the point of you coming to our house?" he asked casually.
Raymond took a deep breath then exhaled slowly. "To be honest... The purpose of my coming to your house is to ask for your blessing to approve my relationship with your daughter. I want to marry your daughter as my wife."
"Are you sure you want to marry her?" asked Monica's father seriously.
"I'm pretty sure, sir. Her beauty, her attitude that is always friendly, respectful, caring, and responsible in everything, made me believe that she is the girl I must fight for to be my life partner forever. I promise to make her happy until the end of my life," Raymond replied confidently, while the others listened.
Monica's father sighed, then looked at Raymond who had everything while he was just an ordinary person. "Raymond, what can make me sure that you will make my daughter happy, never leave her, be loyal to her. I know you have everything, it's not that I want to have a bad opinion of you, but usually, a rich man will humiliate his wife and even leave her when he's bored."
"I love Monica not looking at her material status or where she comes from. I sincerely love her, because she is a girl who made me aware of my stupidity not realizing that only she is worthy of me," said Raymond seriously looking at Monica's father who seemed to be assessing his seriousness.
"I also gave the ring left by my late mother for her, as a promise that I would never betray her or leave her even if serious problems hit our relationship because if I do that, it means I have betrayed my late mother as the person I most respect in this world," he continued straightforwardly.
Monica was still speechless with joy at Raymond's courage to reveal that sacred intention to her father. but there is anxiety if his father refuses later because Raymond is Kareen's ex-lover.
"I heard you were in a relationship with Kareen, in fact, you almost married her. How did you change your mind about marrying Monica so soon?" Monica's father asked seriously.
"Because long ago I had no intention of being with Kareen or marrying her. All of this was just a play to prove that she was indeed evil and only used me. Since then I've been planning to have a relationship with Monica, but I thought, it's better to marry her right away because I realized that she is the only one I deserve to fight for, because she also loves me, unlike Kareen who only uses me." Raymond explained at length without covering up what had happened.
"I'm sorry if I joined in the conversation, but I don't think there's any reason for Raymond not to choose Monica. Monica is clearly a good girl, cares about me, and even cares about my life... While Kareen...Kareen tried to harm me and had a relationship with Raymond just to betray me. Of course, Raymond chose and loved Monica." Bryana also explained because she didn't want Kareen's troubles to make the union between Raymond and Monica fall apart.
Monica's father nodded in understanding and glanced at Bryana to say, "I don't know what to say. I'm sorry for what Kareen did to you guys. I've heard from Monica about her behavior, I'm so sorry."
"We have forgiven her, Sir... the most importantly she has received the punishment she deserves for her actions," replied Dean who wanted to vomit when he heard Kareen's name.
Monica's father turned to look at Monica, who had only been unmoved with a slightly downcast face. ah, his beautiful daughter must be nervous.
"Monica, I have no reason to turn him down. He's a nice guy and seems very good at keeping his word," he said. "All the answers are yours, Dear," Monica's father exclaims with a warm smile.
Monica silently glanced at Raymond shyly. She was quite nervous and didn't know what to say, wanted to say she accepted the proposal but didn't know where to start. The girl was so nervous that her hands were already sweating cold.
dean sighed, glancing at the nervous Monica. "How about it, Monica? Are you willing to marry my brother-in-law?"
"He's been eagerly waiting for your answer we were all waiting for that answer," Bryana exclaimed, glancing at Monica who was very nervous
.
"insight, what are you waiting for, Monica? Don't let him be teased by other girls because he waited too long for you." This time Lily joined in, after centuries of just listening.
slowly but surely, Monica nodded with a blush on her face and said, "yes, I am willing to marry... Raymond."
Everyone in the room heaved a sigh of relief and continued to talk about the exact wedding date as soon as possible, then continued with dinner together in the dining room that Monica's family had provided.
